I will probably go into GTA hibernation until gunrunning. If gunrunning work is similar, I doubt I'll do it much - will just goof around with the vehicles instead.

I typically mix it up with Headhunter and sourcing/selling cars in between to minimize the grind but I only get ~ 5 crate pickups done per day (and 5 cars sold)

@ RafaeSheikh... Good going man, you made twice what I did... After early grief, and before (I Knew) 'solo public' lobbies, I just solo'd it, selling in 8's to be sure that plane drops were easy ones and no Valkyries involved etc. But that last 100 man, that's what really started to ache, I knew time/money-wise, I could do better, and with the friends I have now, larger sales are possible, but I'm very pleased with the $22.6m I made and for the most part, thoroughly enjoyed going for gold too...

 

I've seen loads of players here earn much more than me. Well played guys, If I knew then, what I know now, for sure I'd be right up there with ya...

 

I partially considered running more to make things look good, but the pains kick in, lol... But I really just can't, I agree with those saying 1000 was hardcore... It was, and absolutely, if Gunrunning involves a grind this long, I'll take a better/much different approach too...

 

No complaints though, crate work, for the most part is easy, think that's where my issue lies, as with I/E, I have to be more alert because the second you get casual, you get dropped, happily chipping away there, and the fulfilment is more satisfying too... Made $11m in cars now, and still have the appetite to play I/E, which is the important bit for me, you know?

How many CEO Warehouses can one own?

 

I just started being A CEO from yesterday...

3 max bud 2 large and a small for your specials

My main involvement with crates now is protecting the silly low-level f*ckers doing tug deliveries in a full lobby etc

They're loving it as yourself while it can be frustrating at times its the best way of doing it

I have enough cash on hand now, so I'm back on the wagon and grinding out the crates. Usefully I have about 4 more capacity than crates I need for gold, so gonna stuff all my warehouses and wait for a bonus week to sell. Hopefully I don't get raided - will fill small first.

i thought much the same, but couldn't leave them be totally. so what i'm doing now is i collect single crates in whatever session i'm in, between car sales and other stuff that randomly happens or appears. there's no rush now to fill the warehouses for new stacks of money, i'm just filling them to 69% to avoid break-ins, and then pull them up to a hundred whenever the next bonus comes along. it is a relief to finally let go of the gold statue obsession, and do crates like a normal human being - non-grindy (-:

Yep, and always check for Special Items when you use the computer. Maybe fill a large or two and save them in case there's a bonus weekend.

I wasnt even aware of how you get special items, always clicked buy 3 crates without checking. How many special items is there? Could I buy a small warehouse and only fill it with special items?

There's 5 unique items but you can only ever store 6 for some reason. You're better off selling them as soon as you get them tbh. Just get in the habit of making sure 1 crate is $2,000 whenever you buy, if not = special.

To easily hit the 20 mil target, always buy 3 crates.

 

What I used to do with a large warehouse was, buy 3 crates, deliver those 3, then in the 5 min cooldown to buy 3 crates again, I'd do Headhunter in a Buzzard (can be easily completed in 5 min). Since you love hydras, you can finish it in 3 min.

 

If you don't want to buy large or medium warehouses, you can buy 3 crates for warehouse 1, deliver, then buy 3 crates for warehouse 2, but that might be too much of a grind.

 

I'd recommend a large warehouse, because with the 3 crates/ headhunter method, you'd be making 300k per hour (2.2 mil profit for 7 hours work). If you alternate between 2 large warehouses (buying 3 for w1, and then 3 for w2) you can make 350k+/hour (3.2 mil for 9 hours work). This is the fastest way I know.

It'll take f*cking ages to make $20mil if you're only using small warehouses because you get a lot more money per crate when you sell in bulk, with 111 (a full large warehouse) being the highest rate. Should just do a little at a time. I was doing like a ton of it at first but then got burned out and just did about 10 crate pickups a day. That's 3 crates each run so that'll get you 15 crates per warehouse. Personally don't recommend small warehouses. If you have the cash just get 2 big warehouses and 1 small one for special items only.

This is where I ended up too. I just do a single crate when I'm in-between other freeroam stuff, works out to 3-5 per play session, I'll get there eventually (and I never have to do 3-seperate-crate jobs). Occasionally I'll hire randoms and make a sandwich while they're supposed to be getting a crate for me.
