Been doing a minimum of 20 a day for the last week. Down to my last 150. I just want this done so I can never do it again! Once I'm at 900 I'm thinking I'll do 30 a day...then I'm taking a GTA hiatus until gunrunning is out.

Early congratulations! Looking forward to finishing mine as well. I might just switch to vehicle warehouse though right after since a few of my friends still play. Good luck though.

To be fair I have done 4 more crates since I/E dropped, so at this rate I'll have done the 254 I need for 1000 in around 10 years

Maybe if they gave you some reward or something I might have done some. But after like 100 of them it wasn't worth the effort of doing 37 stealing crate missions to fill a warehouse. Fly buzzard to crates and back 3 times is really boring. I would rather do the old coveted and rooftop rumble 1000 times before doing 1000 crate missions with cool down timers and a it taking a long time to fill one. Like to source 3 crates costs $18,000 which is the payout of those missions. By the time you go to sell a full warehouse you lose 25% of the profits to the cost of them. Yep glad we have to pay money to steal crates. Logic at it's finest. Kind of insane to do 1000 of them.

I finally made it.

There's something strange going on here!

 

It says TWO warehouses owned, and a total of 222 crates, so why does the bar-chart look like that?

I wondered that; you'd think an empty warehouse would be a full stack of white bars. No way to check at the moment.

 

Edit: Earlier posts show exactly that. Hmmmm...and no character in the trophy photo.

If you had any math skills you'd know that one 3 crate pick-up = a 42k mission. Since it's average in 8mins, that's great profit.

They're loving it as yourself while it can be frustrating at times its the best way of doing it

Oh, i see what you mean now. I've never even realised that. Something seems to be messed up on r's side, next time i'm in game i'll check if it's still being shown like this.

I grinded out the gold securoserv award on two characters, closest I've ever come to a mental breakdown while playing GTA. That was about a month before biker business dlc came out. I've been trying to do a few crates in between exporting but it's hard to do crates after that grind.

I'm not going to sell my 2 large warehouses until christmas, there should be the 50% bonus again I hope. 1000 missions are enough end the I/E it's too much better for money

Yeah, 5 warehouse for crates maximum... Any size, but once one is upgraded, it can't be downgraded... Gets pricey...

 

@ JackIrish... Since passing 1000 around 3 weeks ago, I've only done 25 singles to show a few friends and fill the odd cooldown... Even then, I questioned why...

 

Because of that, I take my time on Bikers and I/E... Only 108 cars sold... Plodding to try to keep it all fresher, you know...

Never again. Really - never doing another cargo crate ever again.

 

I will probably go into GTA hibernation until gunrunning. If gunrunning work is similar, I doubt I'll do it much - will just goof around with the vehicles instead.

@Kushology - the advice I'd give is to not try to get them all done in one go. I always felt really tempted to, but when I did ... You'll never get a huge amount done in one go - or if you do, it borderline makes you just go off the game lol.

 

The grind with these is just so extreme.

 

I would just do it something like 10 a day (or a little more if you can stomach the grind).

I grinded them way back. That's why I thought I had more. I used to do 3 crates at a time but been doing one at a time in between stuff.

 

I was doing say

 

Sell car

Source car

Headhunter

Crate

Etc. But now there's a sh*t ton if killing going on. I've raised KDR by .50 in a month.

 

Been grinding kills now.
