Having shut down my "Cock" business, and completed both characters' car collections, I've started grinding crates again. Bought a new warehouse to freshen things up a bit, and am now at over 750. Let's see how far I get before I die of boredom.

300 down and rocking the bronze statue... I came back to crates for the VDay bonus...quite the effort filling two small, two mediums and a large warehouse solo.

Yes. Buying one crate at a time to two large warehouses is the quickest way to grind the trophy.

 

If you want to make max money, buy 3 crates. It's slower, but the warehouses fill quicker.

Those last few were a little tedious as i've had my fun with these jobs and i made my cash invested back so i have no complaints.

 

Had a little grief to start, like many, just didn't know what was best or how to get solo sessions for friends to 'control' at times.

 

The 1st 100 got done in and around the DLC dropping, the rest i just did in spells, some solo, some with friends, also helped many friends and some randoms while learning these jobs too.

 

Must have had between 10 and 15 special items, and though i plan to not run these crates in a hurry, I'll gladly get these if n when they pop up, of course...

 

Once i realised this statue was in the game, I had to get it, very glad to have, now, to trade many, many more cars...

YAAAAAAAS got my gold trophy finally!!! man i thought i'd get it in march but looks like i got it right before and right on time before the 25% bonus ended! i do declare that this was more tedious than the elite challenge lol. usually when i hit the mark after 60 crates, it feels like it's going fast but when i start back after 100, it feels slow lol i'm glad it's over with. boy, that wilderness range was something eh? i'd like to thank my crew, the academy, fellow gtaf users: jason frost, tkejoke, this thread, steve harvey, the ceo crates knowledge base, dunder mifflin and lil ray ray.



i did it for the trophy but i do declare that the $ i got after selling them in a public session was a welcome bonus included with this 25% bonus event so i might as well lol. i have also reached my $ goal of $100,000,000 lol.

i am happy to finally be added to the securoserv gold trophy hall of fame ggwp

also i just wanna show this little note i've taken of what crate # spawned for each special crate:

crate 261: film reel

crate 318: golden minigun

crate 350: large diamond

crate 438: ornamental egg

crate 590: rare hide

crate 682: film reel

crate 721: rare pocket watch

crate 781: rare hide

crate 870: warehouse raid

crate 882: large diamond

crate 903: golden minigun

crate 998: ornamental egg

Today I finally unlocked Golden Securoserv trophy I did plenty of 9 crate sales alone to make quick cash, sometimes I did big sales with my crew mates. I have never really liked to collect crates so this is big achievement for me There was plenty of times when I thought it's time to give up, but somehow I managed to complete this project.

Woah. I don't have it in me to grind like that anymore. That cargo/crate grinding is too intense. Vehicle cargo is grind-y enough as it is.

 

Interested in seeing what they'll do with gunrunning. If it's a similar setup, or something fresh.

I don't grind like that everyday, I do 16 crates every other day or so.

 

I'd rather lick a public toilet seat than fill my large warehouse to max in one session.

I finally made it.

 

 

It took forever, that was easily the most tedious thing i've ever done in this game.

But, after i've finished run #1000, i got a call for a special item. A golden minigun. Nice reward for all the hard work.
