I want a huge banner that appears outside and above the entrance so everyone can see how much time I've wasted on them!

 

I'm only at 250+ buys so far lol, was actually kinda disappointed to notice the crystal trophy gone at one point (I only have a small warehouse).

 

I do agree it would be neat to have the previous trophies stuck somewhere though, kinda like a visual progress bar.

I've had the gold securoserv award on both characters on my account since a month before the biker update came out. Wish they had awards with the biker and import export update too.

The money piles are directly related to crate profits, up to $20mil. If you spend all of your money to zero dollars, you will have zero piles.

 

Now, you won't have to earn money from crate sales to build your piles back. Any monies you pick up will then go back on your office floor, from your previously unlocked money piles.

 

There is a money pile and office clutter thread somewhere on the forum.

The money piles are unlocked in increments of approximately $100K to $300K in crate sales. I'm pretty sure it's not a completely linear distribution. I've gone from +$20mil to zero and back up a couple times now and actively watched the piles come and go. Gleefully.

 

So, in order to see your unlocked piles you must have $20mil (to see all unlockable piles), either in the bank or in cash, when you enter your office. Say you walk in with $15mil,even though you have +$20mil in sales, you will only see $15mil in piles.

Finally got halfway there... Crates might be my least favorite thing to do in GTA, but I'm going to max my 5 warehouses to earn a tidy sum while the current 25% sell bonus is active, and then maybe I'll get around to wrapping up the final 400 collections in the coming months.

I'm up to the crystal trophy now and I dare say that bronze will be the highest I ever see. I don't mind crate work but I can guarantee it won't hold my attention long enough to see 500+ buys. Props to the grinders out there but... No thanks.

I noticed the other night I was just over 350, which given that I only own a small warehouse and only do crates every so often when I'm a bit bored I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe I'll hit that 1k at some point, would be neat but at the same time it's not something I'm actively trying to achieve.

I don't do it that heavily. I'm just shy of 800 now and 41.3m in sales.

Reached 860 runs last night. Will take a while until i'll get to 1000 though, doing nothing but crates isn't exactly the most enjoable activity to me.

You'll hit 50 million when that magic number 1000 pops up...

 

And then, over here at least, that number (hardly) changes anymore... I did a few more crate collects, but my stomach just turned when I hit the buzzard to fetch another crate, hehe... Even as a hardcore grinder, I'm done cratecollecting (even with bonuses)... :-)

 

I turned my (grind)attention to coke sales and I'm kinda proud to announce I'm gonna hit 50 million earned (coke only) day after tomorrow, perhaps even tomorrow... If I include my (deactivated) meth lab, it's around 20 million more...

TBH MC-work is much easier, as its passive income, leave room for fun things while running in the background, and it just quietly adds up... Took me way less time to get to 50 than I needed for my golden trophy aka 50 million earned... Sadly no trophy for MC-work...

 

Oh, and congrats to the new golden statue owners... You all accomplished something real hard in GTA-online.. Be proud of it...

Just noticed the black trophy on the desk. Currently trying to fill my large warehouse and sell it before the 27th.

The 1000 cargo collection barrier was a huge psychological barrier for me, but surpassing 1000 was like a weight lifted off my shoulders and enabled me to shift crates again for fun/profit instead of just trying to get the gold trophy.

So keep at it guys. There's still another four or five days of 25% bonus too.

I hit 500 within a few weeks of the DLC haven't done a crate run or any other money making activity since. I was liberated by crates and set free.
