question: is there a 25% bonus on crates too?

 

when you purchase a large shipment, how much do you gain in profit? back when there was the 50% bonus, i got 63000 in profit (81000 earned and 18000 spent for shipment) but now i'm seeing different profits than what i saw before.

 

before bonus: 42000 profit (60000 earned and 18000 spent)

 

currently rn: 48250 profit (66250 earned and 18000 spent)

I finally got the silver trophy yesterday, mind you I haven't done crate collections in a looong time (many months). I'm just going to gradually build up to 1000 collections now.

Finally got to 100, and in my opinion, the crystal trophy looks best out of all the others, so wouldn't make sense to degrade it into an ugly bronze color, unless you wanna go for gold.

It's taken me a while to finally get here! A few weeks ago when I realized I was getting close, I started to plan the rest of my runs and sales so that when I did get to 1000 everything would be full. Things were looking pretty good until I got to about 975 I think it was. Ever since the whole crate thing started I have only had to defend a warehouse a small handful of times.

 

Then within the last 25 runs I had to do it twice. The second time I was on the wrong side of the map at a crew event. I just needed a buzzard for a moment and bang!! Second time in two days. I hustled across the map but by the time I got there I had lost 8 crates. GRRR! I knew I wasn't going to be able to finish full at 1000. Really wanted to find a R* dev of any description and choke them out lol...

 

Well it's done now!

I finally got the crystal one myself (only own one small warehouse) which looks nice and I'm pretty satisfied with. The crate work bores me to death so I have no desire to continue it, I find the car import/export to be much more enjoyable and engaging of an activity.

 

I'm also looking forward to at some point switching from Maze West to Lombank West, be nice to get rid of all that damn clutter in the office. I won't deny that it adds a bit of character, but at the same time it's also a huge eyesore. Just hoping the trophy transfers over when I do.

I'm sticking a fork in mine, it's done at 714. Nearly done $40m in Vehicle Cargo and cba to go back. Maybe in some months/when DLCs have dried up.

Congrats everyone getting Gold of recent. That grind is real and I've stopped at 1400ish when the last bonus for package grinding was out.

 

Those who are stuck on doing it, yeah it's not as profitable as I/E but it's a novelty at this point.

 

That wall of fame is slowing down as well too! Hope to see dozens more...I'm not gonna lie though, it's a tough grind lol smh
