About 80 buys short of Silver now, and $1m from having the max visible cash.

Silver will be my retirement, another 500 for gold is something I'll maybe do over the next year or so (unless crate work gets an update/explansion).

I'm doing purely single crates these days, I don't like associates generally and I've found you actually get a useable global signal timer with just one crate (around 30 seconds), so I'm able to do them in between other free roam hijinks in full lobbies without it feeling grindy.

Also I tried with associates yesterday and it glitched out, both crates were delivered but I still had the mission prompt live and couldn't enter warehouses/my office. So that didn't encourage me.

When it glitches it has its uses :D

Im pretty sure there is no platinum, on IGN it says that you get the gold trophy after completing 1000 deliveries, I'm sure they would mention a platinum if it existed. Also when the DLC came out I saw pictures of trophies and how much you needed for each one and there was no mention of a platinum so I'm 95% sure someone made that up. Gold is probably the last one you get.

Oh I'm almost 100% sure there's no platinum. I'm going off of players rank background colors. Under level 100 its blue. At level 100 it turns bronze. Then at level 500 to silver. And last is level 1000 it turns gold. Amazingly all of these line up with trophy counts as well. And check the color of a modded level 8000 as gold is the last color. I'm at 1448 buys and I will hit 2000 just to prove it's bs. I got 1000 player melee kills to show people the chainsaw was bs I've got no problem proving this too.

0-49: No trophy

50-99: Black

100-249: Glass

250-499: Bronze

500-999: Silver

1000+: Gold

2000+: Re-evaluation of your life choices

Nitpicking, but level 750 for gold ;)

And originally 800 was max rank, no idea why they changed it. It's not like they detect cheaters. A shame because 800 would have been a nice target, 8000 might as well be 1,000,000.

News to me and you're probably right. My highest character is 482 so I have no idea exactly what level it is but gold is the last color.

And yes I play 1 game but maybe 2000 means I need a new game. Been stuck on gta since 1998 and I played other games then but over the years I dropped to just gta. But really buy gta and you own every game. If you want a racing load a race if you want to kill freemode or a deathmatch. If you want co op load missions or hiests. I've watched gta go from just a cool idea that was to ahead of technology to basically an all in one game.

We hit 600 today... My big warehouse is filling up nicely, so we'll get a nice paycheck within a few days. As the new DLC is arriving shortly (apparently), you can't have enough cash ready... With all the discounts on the expensive items, they're setting people, who fall for the bait, up for a major rush towards shark cards soon, hehe...

I'm aiming for 750 by the end of this month. We'll see if I can keep the pace up. Work is tedious and dull. I also see myself doing my crate-runs in public sessions for some extra tension, ehhe... As it's only one crate, I'm rushing to get as close to my warehouse as possible, before the pack gets unleashed. It's not as violent as the early days, as most of the time you can get away with crate collecting in public sessions.

But just sometimes, you see a nice white dot pointing your way, following your exact route and it's Obvious they are up to no good. So then, I'm strategically placing a nice proximity mine (even a lil detour to avoid setting it off by NPCs, hehe) and it's fun when they meet their doom. Very satisfying... Most of the time it's also session switching for me, as you can be sure they're now fully focused on your CEO-ass... :-) But I ain't in it to fight (for now), just to collect... No time to waste to join the legendary pack of golden statue-owners... ;-)

(Moving this post here because it belongs here more than the thread I posted it in... because I thought I was posting it here )

I'd like to do the next 500 deliveries with minimal effort an I don't care about a profit (breaking-even is all I ask). The full "I'll sit in the office and watch while you run around" type of operation. Since very few people run crates for the fun of it, I want to know how to maximize the ease and fiscal rewards for associates that join.

  • VIP work (Headhunter & sightseer) pays $20,000-$25,000 to each player or split across them? (answer was "each gets the full reward")
  • I can gift my share to my associates via the Interaction Menu once the job is complete?
  • Can they call for the organization's Buzzard or do I need to call it for them?
  • What else can I do to make my associates rich in the short term as they work and fight to enrich me long-term?

Also, to clarify (or correct me),

  • Associates are paid in 10-minute increments?
  • The pay starts at $5000 or $5500 and increases with more consecutive crate deliveries?
  • How many deliveries are needed before the average is at least $1000/minute?
  • What's the maximum they can get?

1) Each player

2) Yes, "share to org" is an option

3) They can call any of your CEO vehicles (on the same timer as you), but most don't know how.

4) Challenges can be rewarding, the 5* wanted level one or the P2P race.

5) 10m is right - I think

6) $500 more per successful crate buy to a max of $10k - $500 lost if you die. Plus a bonus 1x payment for any Sale mission.

7) 10, I suppose

8) $10K

;)

Okay I know this sounds stupid but I brought the maze bank west office while it was on special and a large warehouse for my second male character. I even splashed out and upgraded all the vehicles. Still gonna aim for those trophy's on my main female character now I have everything under control.

I'm so far behind.. I prefer the vip work and trying to ride the wave of cooldowns. something like 2 vip jobs and a challenge, depending on the challenge you may even be able to start another job when finished. It kinda gets in the way and is holding me back with crate work.

Again I'm way behind but I just hit 175 buys last night, tried some single crates solo in an empty lobby for the first time and focused on crates while ignoring vip work. I must say it's much faster and safer. I still prefer moving crates with a full organization, it can be much more fun when in a full lobby but solo can be relaxing in a way.

I also sold my first full large wearhouse last night. Easy 2.2 million. 3 brickades(?) Solo empty lobby no enemies.

Sold 2 full large yesterday to crack $20m in sales. Honestly I can't tell the difference in onscreen cash from $15m though. I think maybe there's some rolls of cash on the map table that weren't there before.

48 crates to silver, going to sell after 9 crates (so it's always one vehicle) in public lobbies from here until 500, mix things up a bit.

Have been doing single crate purchases in full lobbies for a while now, once I learned you get a 38s global signal timer. Closest I've come to losing one was sitting on the corona phoning Lester to lose cops while someone RPGd me repeatedly, got the delivery though.

And.. retirement. Other than odd Special Items, or if they add anything to CEO work.

Hat tip to anyone with Gold (or chasing it) but another 500? Nope, back to playing with other toys.

To anyone grinding out the trophies - highly recommend just doing single crate buys, no f*cking about all over the map plus a healthy 40s global signal timer. In a public session, lots of fun and still easy to deliver.

Edit - actually, I'll be selling single crates whenever I want to try and get one of these beauties to mess around in;

I'm at 1100 and holding. I'm getting new players in my crew that are new to GTAV so that's helped me help them but it's tough. I'm not even heavily invested in it.

Thank goodness for my Dubsta hustle and grinding those that keep me honest. Both crates and Dubsta take time. $250k per denial of service mission.

After hustling those crates for a while and not wanting to quit, I started hunting dubstas in freemode until my warehouse got attacked lol. Lost about 20 crates from SEAL team NPC and now I'll start up the mission to make sure I negate the costs of my crate hustle.

Dubs and VIP work not only covers my expenses but gives me a pretty solid cushion going forward. For all the new players. Sell some sort of vehicle and do VIP work to get more money while you negate your expenses from crate hustling.

You senior mfers know this already...

Who's got two thumbs, delivered a full (except for 5 rare-item crates) warehouse in a Titan in a public (non-MTU'ed) lobby, then landed it on the office like a boss?

Bloody hell gaffa thats some serious playing have you slept lol?

If i was to be doing my after gold collections id probably have 1800ish but at the moment im on 1457 ( i think) im still refusing to collect unless its a special crate and leaving it to the team.

But the low ranks are getting me to the 2k slowly but surely but they don't half do things stupid some times hahaha
