Peds can't be replaced!

Im trying to replace some ballas peds with imgtool but when im in the game it doesnt replace i dont know why i have seen tutorials on youtube and do the exact thing i dont know what is the problem with san andreas

man its same with that lame CJ. man i been tryin to replace with Tommy but no use..its too complicated..if one game doesnt show the players options in the game what u expect more from it? now i need to uninstall and reinstall cuz didnt save the original files..f**k it..

what a bummer, yeah this game is very fragile on mods

yea, pretty much, but maybe theres a trick or idk. im not much of a cleo scripter or something like that..i just try to change txds and dffs lol.

Make sure that the original files in the IMG are deleted (or just renamed, so you can easily restore them later just in case) when adding replacements. Otherwise, you'll end up having two files of the same name in the IMG, and the game may load the original files instead of the modded ones. And always rebuild the archive after adding or deleting a file.

Alternatively, you can give Mod Loader a try. It gets rid of the need to edit or replace files. You just place the mod's files into a folder.
