RDR is pretty much locked in by every speculation specialist in existence so I think that one is clear. But that doesn't mean there isn't room for other info.

GTA is all about the small cash grab updates now. The next GTA installment won't happen until they've milked the current game for all it's worth.

FYI, RDR is second game to the series. First one is Revolver.

Red Dead Revolver isnt even an open world game and has a totally different main character. And the big rumor isit will be called red dead redemption 2...

I've been very curious what they'd do with Red Dead 3's online multiplayer and shark cards. What would they be tempting players to buy with microtransactions? And you know they will, with how much GTAO made for them, sadly. I'd prefer we don't see the fastest armored horses for $5 million, but it seems inevitable now.

 

But yeah, what do you guys think they'd tempt us with buying that costs big bucks? Houses?

 

Also, while I'm glad we're getting a new Red Dead, I was really hoping it was finally time for a new Manhunt. :( One day maybe...

Has to be a new Red dead. A GTA V Story DLC doesn't make sense anymore and its too soon for another GTA.

I would be fine with a new IP too

I don't think it will be Red Dead 3. It's just been rumoured too much, and I think they'd want to surprise everyone. that said, it has been 6 years since Redemption.

 

If anything, it'll probably be some kind of new GTA, or GTA "San Andreas Stories" or something like that.

 

But I'm not convinced they'll actually show off anything at all.

Agent, V NG, RDR's tech demo, GTA IV. Besides they don't make any announcement, Sony/MS do on their behalf. Almost sure V only wasn't at E3 2011 because it wasn't ready befroe October for an announcement.

In the event that Grand Theft Auto: VI were to be unveiled, this would be great and I am sure that it would elicit quite a thunderous wave of cheers from the E3 patrons. :)

 

Presumably, as was true with Grand Theft Auto: IV's announcement via Microsoft in 2006, the visual that could be disclosed of Grand Theft Auto: VI might be a representation of the trademark Grand Theft Auto emblem and a characterized 'VI', depicting the theme of the installment perse. Grand Theft Auto: IV was plastered as a tattoo, so perhaps Grand Theft Auto: VI's emblem will be projected on the screen this time.

 

I cannot wait to see what announcements and surprises have been harbored by Take-Two Interactive at Sony's booth. The Sony Press Conference will be commencing at 6:00 PT. My notifications are tuned accordingly and I am ready. :D

Take2's 'soon', which is likely dominated by Rockstar's 'soon', could mean next week or 6 months later.
