chronic lumbago
I thought this was a joke. Remaster Skyrim? what a f/cking stupid idea. For a pc player sure, but many console players are happy about this. Shadowfennekin
Majestic81
Pretty sure even PC players will enjoy it. Especially since its free if you own all the DLC. I really dont like the ENB mods, always thought they looked like sh*t. So im happy to get upgraded graphics made by a legit company.

feckyerlife
I see why they went with the remastered http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/06/13/e3-2016-bethesda-is-working-on-the-elder-scrolls-6 Todd Howard has confirmed that Bethesda is working on The Elder Scrolls 6, but that it's "a very long way off." On YouTube's , the head of Bethesda Game Studios reconfirmed that Bethesda is working on three new projects, but we now know that Elder Scrolls 6 is one of them, and likely the last:"[Elder Scrolls 6 is] kind of like the elephant in the room, always, when we talk about anything," Howard explained, "and you know, I think it's good in these moments to tell our fans yes, of course we are [working on it] - it's something we love - but it is... you know, I have to be careful what I say, it's a very long way off. "I could sit here and explain the game to you, and you would say, 'That sounds like you don't even have the technology. How long is that going to take?' So it is something that's going to take a lot of time, what he have in mind for that game, and we actually have two other large projects we're also doing that are bigger than everything we've done. People will probably hear about those even before Elder Scrolls 6. That'll make sense many years from now. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition Trailer - IGN Live: E3 201600:57 "We think very long term. We're not a developer that's going to rush something like this out," he continued. "When you think about what is the future of that kind of game, we have a pretty good idea of what that's going to be, and it's just going to take technology and time we don't necessarily have right now." When asked what the other two projects might be, Howard was cagey, but invoked Fallout 4's notably short time between announcement and release: "I don't want to say yet, but people should know by now that the gap between hearing about it and it coming out, I like that to be really short. They're all a ways off, and we'll talk about it when we talk about it." At last night's Bethesda Showcase event, Howard confirmed that an Elder Scrolls 5 remaster, titled Skyrim Special Edition, will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 28. The game will be free for PC owners who already own the original game and all its DLC. Mister Pink

Shadowfennekin
The only people I've seen bashing the remaster are PC players "lol we got mods that are better than that" Cause PC mustard race I guess. It's free too so why complain? I've seen nothing but praise from console players of it everywhere. And I look forward to exploring Skyrim again fresh. And now we all know why Skyrim wasn't BC but Bethesda where's NV BC? Jerking For Soup
I've seen nothing but praise from console players of it everywhere. And I look forward to exploring Skyrim again fresh. Just you wait until Modders are harassed, spammed and ridiculed by the few "vocal minority" console gamers to upload their hard work (bearing in mind, it's free!) to Beth.Net just for it to not work, having the modder go through endless challenges to get it working for consoles. Fallout 4 Mods are already being stolen by console thieves half a year past it's launch. So, if you call that praise, you must be looking from the point of view of someone who agrees with mod thievery and console ports without permission. HoleInTheSky
Played a sh*tload of Skyrim on PC already, but the fact it's coming to consoles with mod support looks promising. As cynical as it sounds, I was hoping for less emphasis on visuals and more on performance. Keeping an eye on it for the mean time. Jonesizzle
Man, I was just hoping for a BC Skyrim. Now I'll have to fork over another 60 or so bucks for a game that I've put hundreds and hundreds of hours into.
Tails Prower
As console player I had to take a breath last night when a very close friend messaged me about Skyrim coming to PS4. I have seen some of Skyrim on Ps3 and I am currently a player of Elder Scrolls Online but I am very much looking forward to this game to see what it's all about on PS4, It certainly looks good from the trailer.
