[PS4] Capture Creator Actors Are Actually Retarded

Hello, I have a problem. I was testing some scenarios for a capture I could make, where one team of actors chase another through San Andreas. The car that is fleeing is an Armored Kuruma, and they are being chased by an Insurgent Pick-Up full of men. The config is as follows:

 

Kuruma:

-Driver: Hipster

-Defensive

-No weapon

-Team 1 Neutral

-Team 2 Friendly

-Passengers: Hipsters (3)

-Aggressive

-Pistols

-Team 1 Hostile

-Team 2 Friendly

 

Insurgent:

-Driver & Passengers: Bodyguards

-Aggressive

-Advanced Rifles

-Team 1 Friendly

-Team 2 Hostile

 

When testing I hop into the Insurgent and watch as the Bodyguards chase the Hipsters. The Hipsters never have anything to worry about because every time the Bodyguards ram their car, the only ones who wipe out are the Bodyguards. The Hipsters get away, and I watch them drive off while these idiots drive around in circles and humping powerline poles with the Insurgent, while screaming threats at the Hipsters, who are all the way across the map at this point. Is there a way to give the Bodyguards brains? The objective was for them to chase them, not crash and knock me out of the Insurgent. I switched the drivers combat style several times, but to no avail. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

This scenario can not be made in the creator.

i can confirm this. a vehicle of men can chase you but are easy to outrun but they will not chase other actors. best bet is to place a neutral in the drivers seat that is defensive with no weapon and place friendly guys with guns in vehilce. pull out driver and do your chase scene.

I remember building a capture once where the actors starting fighting each other, and I think it is because I used actors that would naturally be against each other.

So maybe try using two opposing forces for your teams - eg. cops and the prisoners. Set them both to hostile and see if they'll fight each other.

 

The driving thing, I'm not sure how it will work. NPC AI when driving is sketchy at best.

As for Izzy's suggestion - that's probably the only way you can do it but as I said, NPC AI driving is rough so you'll either easily catch up or easily outrun them.
