In another thread I have created a complete break down of the profits, purchase costs, sell prices, and amount of trips for the CEO crates. Because it has been requested numerous times I will attempt to add a "time for completion" breakdown.

I need the help of the community to figure out the average time it takes from the moment you purchase the crates until you deliver them to your warehouse.

For me personally, it seems to take on average 7 minutes. And that is what I currently have figured into the chart. 7 minutes for the trip, 5 minutes for purchase cool-down, 12 minutes in total per trip.

The complete break down, complete with graphs, can be found here:

Get rid of the cooldown by buying a second warehouse; I have one L and one M, it solves the problem nicely!

I understand that. I own three. I'm trying to figure out how long on average it takes to purchase, pick up, and deliver each crate. The cool-down between purchases is irrelevant in this discussion.

I am close to having both warehouses on cooldown if all goes smooth.

I come back to the office from a pick up with a 3:30 cooldown. i take the next job, leave to roof, take buzzard fly there pick up drive/fly back.

5min is more than my average! (going for 1 crate)

-warehouses and office "close" together.

-2 warehouses

-buzzard

-shortest routes

-buzzard can pick crates mid air

I can't really give an honest answer to this as it's varied so much for me. I've done it in just a few minutes, when the cargo was half way between my HQ and my warehouse and was all in one truck. But then there have been times when it's take 20 minutes. I had 3 helicopters to destroy that were outside the city and I had a cooldown on my Buzzard. That was an extreme example but these things can vary a great deal.

5 minutes from purchase to crate being in the warehouse? On every trip? That's extremely fast. Do you play in free-aim or auto-aim out of curiosity?

its auto aim, but free aim would probably add not too much more cause i swap to mouse with one hand if needed.

My Strategy: Leave via Roof, get in buzzard, fly there (shortest route, fast landing) I choose the 3.1m office for this because i land the buzz manually so its reachable with on button press when i get out again.

If its a Flare Pickup, i try to grab the crate in my buzzard while in air (crate chooses to bounce on my buzzard often, but hey), same for all the parachute thiefs, i fly into them (works 100%)

The Hold Up drving cargo vehicles also works pretty fast i u postion the buzzard right, they always get stuck witht it. Usually my global timer for the cargo runs out half way to the warehouse. i also made it within the cooldown every now and then.

Also, if its a crashed plane, u dont have to leave the buzzard, u just pick it up in the buzzard.
Police always gets a lester call if it's a trap.

Of course it can go all wrong aswell. I had a camper at del pierro pier to pick up, it was a deal with 2 gangs and i had an easy job killing them but somehow one npc just grabbed the camper and drove off, couldnt hit him, couldnt run after him, took the buzzard, this guy was driving full speed, it crashed my buzzard, couldnt stop him, buzzard exploded, called my car, by the time i got at him (those campers are fast downhill) he was already on route68 going fullspeed. i finally killed him and had to drive aaaaal the way back... mostly uphill :( i could have parachuted from the office to the job and would have been back in the warehouse 2 minutes later. worst pick up ever!

i always go for one crate! i hate the double/triple pickups if they split and even if not splitted, those jobs seem longer and harder. i don't feel like i am three times faster.

i am thinking about going for a 2 crate strategy at all time and maybe just destroy the second crate everytime its just too far to be fun. but probably not.

In addition to the above, if it's the boat one (I hate the boat one), just fly there in a Buzzard, blow everything up and then you can pick a crate up by just touching it with the Buzzard. If you're not capable of controlling the Buzzard that well then you may end up in the water, but I've done it numerous times without problem. The Hydra is even easier as it's more stable when hovering. Just a slight dunk and you pick the crate up.

I hate the boat one too - especially on my own. I may have sunk enough choppers around LS to effectively be able to walk on water to pick up the crates :D

On average I can get a solo run of two crates done in about 10 mins with certain factors:

1) Having access to a Buzzard

2) Operating in a low-populated lobby where other CEOs have been contacted and truces are formed

I never go for three-crate jobs unless I have two other people working with me. I don't like leaving cargo unattended for too long.

As it sits right now, with all the votes currently in, the average time it takes to do a delivery is 6.8 minutes.

Feels like forever whenever I'm flying my buzzard. I wreck the buzzard before I even get to the crate destination and then I have to wait like 2 minutes before I can spawn one again. Woes of a bad pilot.

I'm a decent pilot, but then I make up for that by messing up in other ways:

So it seems that even though we had so many votes for 5 minutes, all the other votes threw the average up to 7 (technically 6.9189189189189189189189189189189).

Takes a lot less time when I just hit my lag switch and clear out the lobby so no a-holes mess with it.

9 min + 5 min cooldown order/retrieve cycle average on 3 crate runs. Many under 5 minutes. Based on grinding medium garage total time 3h 10min. Sell cargo 16 mins $751,000. (Cuban x2 over Sandy Shores)

@ $3675/min.

Well, if you're talking a single crate, then, like 5 minutes, typically.

However, if you're talking about a full, three crate capture, played solo, going back and forth each time, going in and out of the warehouse, and originating at the Office, then maybe, 15-20 minutes total, including the random attacks from NPCs.

I think.

Impossible for me to vote on this because like someone said..Way too many variables.

If I am solo and doing three crates, probably 5 minutes with a buzzard.

Selling full cargo will probably take me 15 minutes solo.

Public lobby full of players....Who the f*ck knows. The greifing is so insane that I will never be able to put a number on it.

30 seconds to collect a 3-crate vehicle ;)

I did the truck delivery ( 2 trucks) in about 40 seconds :D but I will loose that ability when I restart my console :(

grand theft spaghetti

ive been helping an online friend do these missions when we get kicked to a solo lobby. the game gives us a half hour timer but without a public lobby full of azzhats trying to kill you it can be done in 5-10 minutes depending on the mission.

oh and has anyone else's buzzard started trying to do back flips while landing or taking off near a package? while helping out my friend we have done so many back flips doing these missions. number of back flips done in a buzzard before this update? 0.

and for all the stupids here on the forums. the players using lag switches are the cheating douchebag a-holes. everyone else is playing the game as rockstar made it. if you cant handle playing an online game then you should find a new hobby. just dont go back to torturing small animals out of frustration.

I think this is about spot on. However on the 3 crate pick ups, about half of them are 7-8 minutes and half are like 15-18. The latter half just ruins it though,

I'm just curious on how long it takes to pick up the crates and bring them to the warehouse.

Usually less than 5 minutes for a single or double pickup/delivery if I'm playing alone. On the 3 separate crate jobs, I usually get the countdown during the delivery of the 3rd crate.

Easily less than 5 minutes if I've got a 3 or 4 person team delivering with/for me.

My average time is over 10 minutes for delivering 3 crates solo. :/

And 6.5 minutes with one associate.

From what I've seen in the last couple of days:

Average of 12-15 minutes from when I place the order to when I can place the next order when doing 3-crate runs, solo, to the same warehouse.

Some of those minutes are during the cooldown timer to purchase with the same warehouse as I just delivered to

  • By alternating warehouses, it would go faster (depending to the travel time between the last warehouse and the Office)
  • With associate help, it would go faster (but they get paid so little for their time)
  • With smaller orders some of the missions would go faster because I would have to make fewer round-trips to get more crates
  • Trackify always slows missions down (much worse when you're not flying)

The Wandering Hunter

op your poll accomplishes nothing

do you mean 1 crate or all 3?

either way it's highly variable, and doing 1 crate runs is pointless, making barely more than missions.

I do all 3 crate runs in less than 10 mins as I never see the timer though

and I'm always in a hydra so that helps

Today I did (alternating between warehouses, so no cooldown period)

  • Two single-crate purchases
  • Five double-crate purchases (two required multiple trips)
  • A Rare Item purchase (effectively, a single-crate purchase)
  • A Sales job driving one truck to 5 drop-off points

All in a little under 90 minutes
