Karls Posted June 17, 2016 Share Posted June 17, 2016 I'd like First Person better if Rockstar didn't sacrifice things like vehicle roof deformation in order to implement it. THIS! I utterly hated the damage in V when it first came out, and the fact crumple zones was as good as deleted on doors and roofs was just the nail in the coffin for any type of realism with vehicle deformation in V imho. In a car I can assure that you can see much more than the top of the damn steering wheel and only half of the rear-view mirror, not to mention it obstructs your vision so much that it's not even worth it! Thank god I have the PC version where I can adjust it passed it's limit with flawless widescreen, I would never play with it without it. R3D-RAB1T Posted June 18, 2016 Share Posted June 18, 2016 its alright but the characters look dumb as hell when they walk in FP, i liked that i was able to see my gun all customized and somewhat looked liked a call of duty game at some points,the driving was pretty cool but the dash board was alittle off - i liked that the speedometer works and that when you fly out of your car that the camera go crazy like you really crashed but it still has it buggy moments, i bet this is like a prototype version of this FPV for GTA so im hopefull that they keep doing this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

zuckmeslow Posted June 19, 2016 Share Posted June 19, 2016 the first person in GTA V was very weird and felt tacked on. the way the characters moved and the guns handled felt more like a first person shooter from the ps2/ xbox original era than a modern day fps, their arms are too stiff. i wouldn't mind if the next gta game has a first person mode, as long as its done right. the sound design in gta v is also very bad and that ruins the fps mode when your shotgun sounds like a soup can thrown on the floor. it should be like this. no stupid blue flashing every time you kill someone Switch 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Voggs Posted June 19, 2016 Share Posted June 19, 2016 It was a great addition to feel more immersion, I personally love to use it in gunfights because it makes them more intense and realistic. I'm not a huge fan of FPV but I wouldn't mind if it returned, just as long as there is 3rd PV. It's also perfect when you don't wanna keep smashing a button to run lol, I'm very careful in that sense, after years playing IV, RDR and V in Xbox360 I was worried about my A button in the controller. I mean come one, is every goddamn car in Los Santos universe, even older ones have automatic transmission? I would rather have them make a game that is only first person instead, because in GTA V it didn't seem that good compared to actual first person shooters.
