They dont actually want us making money, that would defeat the purpose of their Freemium model of gameplay.

yeah, I certainly wouldn't call it freemium. Between the two versions of this game I bought, I spent $100. I guess you could say that micro transactions have helped keep this game current three years after release. They wouldn't be employing people to write updates without them.

I like this update 'cause people like staying in the lobby anyway.... why not make it more interesting? If anything, I hope this makes the next game stay in the lobby 100%. There's no point in exiting for a race or shootout or anything... it's all right there on the map.

If the next game is entirely in a freemode lobby then I won't be playing it. If this game is anything to go by, it will be a f*cking mess and the opposite of fun. Imagine doing a heist in freemode. No thanks.

Everything is better without loading screens and waiting hours in lobby screens for enough people to join. The sooner everything is done within freemode the better, they could just make your character ghosted to other players whilst on heist, like they do with most wanted mode.

I havent bought any shark cards, minimal grinding and still have everything in the game, this game is not freemium, it just offers shark cards for people who are no good at the game.

Completely agree about everything being done in freemode, makes it so much more dynamic, having it done seperately makes so many problems - lots of loading screens and waiting, and if one person leaves then it quits and more loading

Weird. I thought the point of any aspect of any game was fun?

Being forced to be subjected to hackers and griefers costing us millions doesn't fit that.

If the game was a LOT better balanced, and if they had more selective protections (like the forced passive mode when doing time trials), I think an all-free-roam model could work. But if you had to heists in the current version of free roam, and other players could interfere? I'd sooner shoot myself. Or at least I'd immediately invest in a lag switch. I already find myself doing CEO work a certain way - I only do 1-2 crates at a time (even with associates) in busy lobbies, because I don't want to run the financial risk of the 3 crate buy. I only sell in empty lobbies (or ones where my associates outnumber the randoms), period.

Sorry if I offend you guys

But I've never understood grinding...

I just think you should have fun playing and earn money along the way.

I still don't wanna do heists in Freemode.

Rockstar wouldn't do it probably.

I'm hoping they'll make new heists the old fashioned way.

They proved they can with Lamar missions

I can understand the frustration towards hackers and cheaters for sure... but someone who is killing you and blowing up your cargo on buy/sell missions are not griefers for fack sake, they are playing the game. I'll blow up your cargo and mug you too, that doesn't make me a griefer that makes me someone who plays the objective and is using the in game tools as intended.

COE crate missions should be dynamic by the ammount of ppl in session.

Lets say you are solo in a session.. then u get much less cash then if u succeed the crates with a full session.. like ALOT! Same dynamic system on the attackers in the session (ppl that are not hosting the COE mission)

Makes it alot more rewarding to have a good crew with good teamplay!.... and WAY MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

The OP is only partially right.

The way to make a lot of money through warehouse work is to only purchase one crate at a time, and do it occasionally. Let the crates stack up slowly. If you spend only $2,000 a crate, you're really making a lot of money once you sell it all.

$18,000 purchases ($6000 per crate), successfully sell a full large warehouse = up to 3.3 times your investment. $1,554,000 profit

$2,000 purchases (1 crate at a time), successfully sell a full large warehouse = up to 10 times your investment. $1,998,000 profit (though will take 2-3 times as long)

It actually pays to do them 3-at-a-time with the time consideration. Even if it only takes twice as long with singles instead of triples, you can earn $3,108,000 instead of $1,998,000 in the same amount of time.

Of course player-interference, ammo cost (when not using armed vehicles), occasional hard luck when cargo is accidentally destroyed, the extra time when there are four blips on Trackify instead of one or two... all muddle the math so the answer isn't easy to print.

Personally, I'm currently solo'ing single-crates to get a trophy that's better than bronze. Money isn't the main consideration at the moment :pp

Its been said countless times that R* is not planning on doing more heist's .

I do agree with you on one thing, grinding, at almost three years, I hate grinding with a passion and it has sucked the fun out of it, and now that ive made my money back and then some with the office and warehouse purchases, I am taking a break from the crates for a short time, while fun, it did become a grind.

And why cant we downgrade or upgrade the warehouses then? Or sell them?

OnT; Doing crates in freemode on consol can be fun,but i wouldn´t dare to do on PC due to modders and hackers.......

This is already in the game, you get huge bonuses for full lobbies, like 500k extra on full large warehouses if you sell with 25 players in lobby.
