What's the best warehouse?

I see they all have the same capacity but different prices. Any difference between them besides that? (BTW, I meant among the LARGE warehouses). Thanks.

I don't believe so. Think the only difference is location.

Nope, you are just paying for the location & the exterior design.

Before you decide, if you own a helicopter & use it a lot, fly it & check out appropriate landing zones. People say the Vinewood West warehouse is the most inconvenient when it comes to landing helicopters.

Hell i land my hydra there without problems, so why couldnt you land a heli?

Even my savage fits in there without problems.

in my book darnell bros warehouse is the best.

easy access, lots of space to land the heli, most of my pickups are with in 2miles from here, so its just great.

Whichever is closest to office so you can get back and start the next cargo pickup.

I went for the Maze Bank West office for $1000000. It has an awesome view of the city & I didn't see the point of wasting $3 million for one in the city center. I also went for Derriere Lingerie in Del Perro. It's the second cheapest medium storage (42 Crates) at $902,000 & it's just 30 seconds away from Maze Bank West in car or about 10 seconds flight in a copter.

You misinterpreted what I wrote. I said "People say the Vinewood West warehouse is the most inconvenient when it comes to landing helicopters" not I have a problem landing in it.

I haven't even tried it yet (or played FAF&F for that matter), I checked the location on the map & it seems sufficient to me .... But bunch of people here say otherwise.

i'd say the $2.3 million warehouse is the best placed followed by the $1.9 million one.

if you were talking any, i'd say the best located is right across from bennies but it is a medium warehouse

the medium one just outside the city because its more open and allows you to approach at different ways.

I have a small one close to the beach in the city and the other is a large one down the road a bit from Lester's warehouse (near the LSC).

I was VERY disappointed to learn that you can't start a job and take the crates to either warehouse and that it has to be the specific warehouse.

My thought was you could return your loot to either; but no, it's gotta be 1000 times more difficult than necessary. <sigh>

IamCourtney

I'm not familiar enough with all the locations yet, but I have a few general tips that can make a location desirable/undesirable

Desireable:

- close to office (obviously)

- easy access (close to major roads, multiple angles of approach, room to land choppers)

- close to convenience store (especially if you're concentrating on small buys, a quick liquour store heist at the end of a delivery can offset a good chunk of the cost and/or cover any Lester abilities you may have used during the mission)

- close to underground access (if you know the sewer and subway systems well, being able to maximize your time safe from jet jockeys is a godsend)

Undesirable:

- hilly surroundings (for buy missions that involve vans and especially box trucks, having to drag those slow mofos up a steep hill will quickly drain any momentum you have and leave you open for a loss)

- few/predictable access points (you don't want to get booby trapped mere feet from victory)

Yep it seems like it is almost always right about a 1 minute buzzard flight from crate pickup points which means going off radar only costs you $500. Even if it takes you a little longer, when you come back on radar it is too late for anyone to stop you unless they are waiting at your warehouse, in which case you should see them long before they see you, and handle it accordingly.

ghost organization is the only option that hide your blip and that of your cargo.

I use off radar, and when i see someone approach i hop out and get to cover before swiftly killing them and hightailing back to the warehouse. $15,000 is a waste IMO, but definitely necessary in certain situations.

I own the one by the airport LSC. I like it OK but I may eventually pick up another on the east side - there's a lot of bridges and stuff over there that might be useful cover when driving a vulnerable truck and being chased by something with lock-on missiles. I've only lost on shipment so far and it was driving by the marina on my way to the warehouse - a Buzzard took off there, turned around and blasted me, and I had no chance to get away from it.

IMO not so much landing them but spawning your CEO buzzard after you deliver a truck or drive in. The one at the airport is CONSTANTLY spawning right under the overpass or embedded in some other obstacle.

Easy access to the airport is a nice touch, but it's a popular location so there's often people camping around there which can be trouble.

I avoided this because it's right around the corner from a couple wall breaches. I'd just as soon not have to give cheaters the option.

Also, being the most expensive IIRC it is also a popular location for those who want to show off that they are rich which means more general traffic and more people camping waiting for easy targets.

Pay 18K for 3 packages then another 15K on top of that to make it slightly less risky to transport. Then sell them for what? 42K? I guess that's the big rewards R* teased us with in the trailer. A solo parachute jump pays more.

I gave up on ever seeing a return out of any of this after about 2 days of playing. Anybody who is really trying to make a profit on CEO activities is not going to have much fun.

The West Vinewood Backlot location is great for picking up crates.... but sucks in full lobbies as it has limited access, just the one road by the warehouse or a narrow alley that still crosses that same road from a block over ... so it is very easy for TROLLS who see you pass by the other sites, logistics, darnell etc.... to realize you are headed to it and they can blow you up and grieve you... The ones by the airport have the same issue with limited ways to get to them and easy for trolls.... The $1,900,000 Wholesale Furniture has lots of ways to enter.... that will probably be my next large warehouse... if I decide to waste the money... the rest are ok... but why pay $3.5 mil or $3.2 mil for the same capacity? Your best bets are the West Vinewood Backlot at $2,135,000 if you only play in lightly populated lobbies and the $1,900,000 Wholesale Furniture location if you want the cheapest location or want several ways to access it. But, realistically given the horrible, slow vehicles you have to use to deliver the goods... No matter how you do it... this DLC is a MONEY LOSER... if you are doing this for the variety of the game play, ok... otherwise you are better off grinding contact missions or heists than spending the money to do this folly of a DLC....

Is there anyway to check the warehouses lists or i must buy an office first?

I wish I started with a small warehouse. its easer to fill up to 100percent and make my rates higher. I bought the furniture warehouse in the el burro industrial district. for over 1 million. one of my friends has a small ware house in davis near the baller neighbor hood by close to the police impound. I should have bought one like that and its closer to my pillbox hill office than the one I have.

Ooooh I see, thanks for the clarification & for the information regarding the airport's warehouse ... I was considering it.

Darnell Bros, right next to Lester's warehouse.

Also right next to Ammunation and LS Mods.
