3rd character

*the title*

I wondered if there's a way to get 3rd character on PC. First one is mine, second character is my brother's. Why I want 3rd? I'd like to try with female character but I don't want to delete any.

I did a bit homework but the topics about that were quite old & outdated.

Gotta but a new game/key as far as I know, can only have 2 characters per SCID

if not mistaken to play online you need to link your socialclub with the steam account, and the way R* set up the game you can only use your game key with 1 socialclub.

 

so creating a new socialclub+new steam would require a new key.

my theory is the 5 original character slots were for your 5 crew slots - which is why they make you choose your character when you change crews.

 

probably scrapped the idea when the billionaire era hit and people started having the glorious chradder-bonds....

That menu's been taunting me ever since I maxed my second character I still hold out hope that R* will open another slot.

I mean, it's not like you can't fit five characters along that wall, unless R* gives us the ability to adjust their proportions eventually.

R* has teased 3rd 4th and even 5th characters to us since the release of GTA O, which continue to be just that, a cocktease. Who really needs 2+ characters anyway? Just play the damn game.

I honestly wouldn't mind it either. But seeing that you can make a new account for free, most people wouldn't pay.

You can make multiple new accounts via your main xbox account, so you can make as many characters as you want. I have been running 4 characters for some time now.

Before NG was a thing it was nice to imagine one of the charcter slots would be for your police character, different guns/rank/PV etc

 

When NG dropped, yeah, 2 characters forever was obvious from the Swap 'room'. Oh well.

I wouldn't mind that, personally. As long as it's $5-10 per slot.

Slots 3, 4, & 5 may have been place holders for Michael, trevor, and Franklin. Add your two characters and that's everyone on the character wheel. Just a theory, though.
