What's in it for me working as an associate?

Not quite understanding these free roam challenges.

 

I spend 40 minutes helping my CEO deliver crates, fight off people generally being a good associate.

I get one payment of $5500 then as we deliver all packages and complete what I thought would be some kind of grand payout...'My work is over' $5500 for 40 minutes of work.

 

I am going back to whoring heists, da fark?

Technically speakingthat's a bad CEO. After the crate shipments he really should do CEO work. So you can payed that way too.

Depends on how good your CEO is. Personally, I treat my associates good. I clear their bounties and give it to them, and we run Sightseer at least 4 times an hour. This gets them paid ~120K+ an hour. During the cooldown for Sightseer is when we run my cargo.

 

I help them make money, they help me make money.

That's bs. To make 50K profit you have to sell 5-7 crates (depending on how many you pick up at a time). That would take a minimum of 3 delivers. One run of Sightseer takes 5-7 minutes. The same amount of time it takes to deliver a shipment to the warehouse.

 

Plus, if you don't take care of your associates they will not want to work for you long. Only running crates they would struggle to make 60K an hour. Throwing 4 runs of Sightseer an hour into the mix guarantees them at least 120K an hour. And increases your pay 80K an hour which more than pays for the crates, turning all that money into pure profit.

You're friend's gratitude lol. Mine are crazy they don't mind helping me but I wouldn't let them because their associates pay is sh*t. If I needed them to help me I'd run a pac standard afterwords and give them all of my cut.

Yeah, ^^ this. My friend was getting a regular payment too. It went down after I died, but he was getting about $10K most of the time.

Makes me think of an easy way to make money go in your apartment,hire your friend both of you tape your controller stick to walk in a circle. Then just go to bed over the 8 hours your friend makes $320k if you work that day then he makes $640k if your off for 16 hours

I tried out being an associate. ...I think I got 6000 after every job done....I may have gotten 6000 randomly...but im not sure....

You get paid increased amounts every 15 minutes up to $12,000.

 

 

Not really worth it for the time spent and money earned... but at least it pays you. The only real reason to be an associate is to help your friends.

That mechanic bothers me. It should be able to scale up to like 20k for loyal associates and they should get a small payment when they help you deliver crates, possibly on a per crate basis. Like if only 1 of 3 crates survives, they make $1500 but if all 3 survive they make 6k [double scaling bonus - 1.5k-3k-6k]. They should get a small cut of the final delivery too, If you only deliver 36k worth of goods 5k seems fair, but 10k max on a 2.2 mil delivery job? Where the hell is the mobsters union when you need them? I want my associates treated fairly, they're associates, not interns.
