"Kinda" is an understatement, I'm playing V again after 3 years and I have never noticed how much of a butt-monkey The Lost came to be in that game.Trevor hates them, Franklin thinks they are a plague(in thatspecial fare mission), Steve Heines mocks them in that TV show, just to prove my point.Not really, they were never painted as an indestructible set of criminals, Niko killed a high ranking member in a mission without consequences, in TLAD the Alderney chapter was partially disbanded by internal fights and a lack of a clear leader and TBOGT also had them as cannon fodder in one mission.They are not treated differently in V, at least they appear. It's called GTA Logic R* probably did this method to make reloading faster. If you noticed when your crouched, The full animation will play when Niko takes out the empty magazine, insert a full one, then precedes to charge the handle. True. If anything, they received a boost. In IV/TLaD, they were described as underdogs, contained to small chapters in Alderney and Broker, outnumbered and overpowered by the AoD in the grand scheme of things. By V, they made a grand coast-to-coast relocation (something Johnny, by the time of TLaD, thought was foolish waste of resources), completely destroyed AoD's power base in Los Santos/Blaine County (and remember, the West Coast is AoD's home turf) and overall eclipsed AoD as the most notorious biker gang in the country. That's a massive jump from where they were at the end of TLaD. Either way, the Lost being painted as losers, both in V and TLaD, is completely intentional. Just look at the meta level, where you can quite clearly see that the writing staff doesn't have much fondness for the biker gangs. That's apparent even in TLaD, where the bikers are painted as a dead end, bottom-feeders, squabbling and murdering each other over scraps, the very idea of "brotherhood" they proclaim meaning nothing when put to test, Billy embodying the worst aspects of the stereotypical biker figure and how putting that kind of person in charge of a criminal organization can lead only to destruction for everyone involved and with Johnny and his crew, the only sane men in the story, breaking away from the organized biker gang culture by the end of the story. Until V that is, where we learn that Johnny just could not let go after all. And what that made him? In Multiplayer, it just puts the new mag/clip inside without cock it. They made it even faster for MP. About Johnny sleeping with the head between the legs, he's not sleeping, he's just resting, saving energies with one eye open watching his back (kinda ironic seems his back is turned to the door, but you get what I mean, I hope.), He's probably sitting like that just in case he's got to run or to suddenly fight someone. You're right, we never got to know anything about the Broker chapter's size and the scale of their operation. Or about anything beyond these two chapters, really. I was just pointing out the differences of the presentation of the Lost in TLaD versus the presenation in V and that that if there was a story where the Lost were the literal "Losers", it was, ironically, TLaD and not V. I understand that this is a variation/inconsistency used for the effect of the specific narrative, so at the end of the day, it doesn't bother me all that much. Wouldn't she tell him that beforehand? B-It always amuses me that friends are available to offer their perks even during the hours they'd normally get pissed off due to sleeping if you ring them to hang out. Why? C-In "Easy As Can Be" when Niko's just stolen Lyle's car how does he know so quickly the pursuers are a threat? He looks over to see the car parked across the street and says "No risks Brucie? Maybe this juicing is f*cking with your head" like after a couple of seconds. Hum... A. She's a bitch. undercover cop, she wanted to spend time with Niko to get information, and making him drive to the funfair took some time, time to make cop questions. B. Because they're doing Niko a favor, I'd go help a friend at any time if he/she really deserves it. C. Two goons on a parked black car in some alleway watching you? Lol, I don't even know what family is that, is that from TBoGT? im not suprised you havent heard of them. they are the only mafia family that dosent physically appear in gta 4. they are only mentioned a few times throughout the story. look them up.
