Okay, I just bought a Third warehouse and the value of my Bigfoot Pelt went up from $105k to $115k it is by itself in a warehouse(a warehouse that will now be for special items that I will NEVER sell, I will collect them, lol) So if you have 5 warehouses and all of the "Special Items" in one Warehouse then you can sell them for the most that they will be worth.

 

Oh, and this also explains why some people were saying the Bigfoot Pelt was worth $95k, probably because they only had one warehouse.

The first Rare Item cargo I got was the Pocket Watch.

 

 

Everything was fine.

 

I do a 2-crate sales job and force-close the application to see what would happen. I reload the game and it took away a normal crate, which was fine, but it turned my Pocket Watch into the Russian Egg

 

 

 

 

On the computer it still had a sell value of $150,000, so the game thinks it's the Pocket Watch still

 

Later on I get a Golden Minigun

 

 

 

Now today, I start the game and one of the regular cargo items turned into another Golden Minigun

 

 

 

That new mystery minigun is not counted toward sales value as the Special Cargo as the "All Special Items" offer is $265,000 and there are 15 regular crates and the "fake" minigun in the warehouse and the computer shows 16 crates for $240,000.

 

Will I log in tomorrow and the warehouse be filled with (fake) Golden Miniguns?

The whole thing's glitchy.

 

I never got a call for my first special item (film reel). It was just there to buy, and it caught me by surprise.

 

The second one I got a call, and thankfully it worked (was a large diamond).

 

So for the OP, I'd say anything could happen. Might be the whole lot's gone lol, but hopefully not. It's just very glitchy.

 

To Quinn_flower, I'm not really sure why you haven't got any special cargo yet - you should have. All I can suggest is keeping an eye one what's available to buy, even if the assistant doesn't call - my first one never gave me a call. Hope you get it soon anyway.

How many "Collections Completed" do you have?

I have found that you really need over 40, what I "THINK" is going on here is that when you hit ten "Collections Completed" of one certain type of item, NOT Crates but Collections, that you get the "Rare Special Item Call".

For example, like say you have made 45 or so "Collections", (the number of crates in each collection doesn't matter in this theory), and out of those 45 "Collections" you have collected "Animal Materials" nine times, and now on your 46th "Collection" you are, once again, getting "Animal Materials", making this a total of ten times that you have collected "Animal Materials". I "THINK" this is when you would get the call about the "Bigfoot Pelt".

Now this is all only a theory, based on the ten crate thing thrown out by IGN, and mine and others experiences. So far it seems to be working out ok, but no real proof this is correct,

they mised a change, they should have introduced a reward system for buying/selling crates. all we got are the different securoserv trophies which are not collectibles.

I was so torn between fulfilling my duties for this guy or quitting to go pick up my own special cargo but I stayed and helped anyway. After I quit his organization, I registered as CEO and went to see if it was still there. Luckily it was and now I have a rare egg in my storage worth $150k. It was probably 15 minutes after the call when I made it to my own computer so it atleast stays around for 15 min

Next time I play, if there are more, I'm just going to keep starting the game, quitting, then starting again to see if I can fill the warehouse with them.

For those who've went to their office after getting the call, did you land a heli on the helipad and go in your office that way? I did and the rare cargo never appeared, but if I land outside and walk in the front door, it appeared. Idk if there's any correlation, just what happened to me.

My only problem with the "press-to-land" thing is the heli is no longer there when you go back to the roof after starting another cargo buy. That's why I just land on the heli-pad, and walk in.

 

It's there on the pad about 50% of the time for me. The other times it's down on the street.

My options are land gently and take a little more time, land fast and damage the helicopter so I'll need to replace it sooner over the next buying runs, press the button and it gets no damage and is faster (from when I fly past the pad until I'm in the office).

You just buzz the pad, not even slow down.

Did some researching, you have to wait 48 minutes to get a new special item.

You must have completed 20 buy missions to get special items.

I just got my first special item!!! A rare hide. After 4 times of getting a call and going back to the computer to get "you must be in a public session" even though I was in a public session. And another 3 times of getting a call and nothing being there

How do you move crates within/between warehouses?

I keep seeing people talk about moving their special items to particular warehouses but I don't see how that would be achieved. So far I've had one special item (the diamond) but I never actually got to see it because it was up on a high shelf.

When the special item order comes you just make sure you purchase it at the warehouse you have designated.

 

Once purchased you cannot change warehouse locations.
