No. This value is listed on my bawsack computer. I'm not selling til this small warehouse is full with the rare items. I've only got three stored. My assistant tells me to hang on to items like this so i bought a small warehouse just for these.

I've only successfully collected and sold one rare item. It was the large diamond. I have gotten three calls from my Assistant about more items, but I was in invite only sessions every time.

Golden minigun... Put it in my small warehouse and I'll dedicate that one to special items... Filling it up will take some time... And hopefully no raid by NPC... So keeping it below 80% full... But, like I said, it'll take some time, as I'm close to another full big warehouse (second time) and I only got 2 special item calls... (first one I missed as I didn't know where to look, so I bought a 3 crate shipment.... I missed the one item higher price, hehe)...

You can only get as many special items as warehouses you own. So 5 max. You wont be able to get more than 5 stocked.

I kept getting calls for a special item, had one and every time I checked the comp it wasn't there. Bought new warehouse, went to the comp and special item was there without a call to notify me.

 

Are there pics of more than 5 specials in one warehouse?? My friends and I haven been grinding them and no one has got more than 5.

After every 40-50 success buying mission (not crates) drops a rare item.

The things you get are totally randome and you don't need a call!

When i got the call for the bigfoot pelt the other crate options were for animal material (2 and 3 packs) and others have said that the other rare items are the same way.

 

From what i've been noticing is that there's no rhyme or reason as to when or why you'll get a call other than it can happen anywhere. The number of players in a session makes no difference because numerous people have gotten calls while either alone or in invite sessions, myself included. The number of crates you've bought and sold so far makes no difference as well.

 

Some people got a call after their first crate purchase, others haven't gotten one and they're on they're 100th. It's completely and truly random it seems. I got my 2nd call after making my 43rd successful crate purchase after 3 successful sales and only one failed purchase and got my first call in an invite session after buying/selling less than 25 crates and destroying 1, and making 2 sales (one for 16 crates, one for 8). My first call came several hours (the next day so 12 hours or so) after i had sold all the cargo i had (8 crates) and had decided not to bother with it anymore and was an hour into grinding VIP work. My 2nd one came while i was filling my warehouse and had just delivered my 3rd crate in a row. I haven't even made a $1-million yet either from selling cargo.

 

I cannot find a single commonality between accounts other than owning an office, a warehouse, and having bought/delivered at least one crate successfully to their own warehouse. Beyond that I've come to the conclusion it's a massive game of roulette that I have a feeling is on a timer and every so often the wheel gets spun and there's 1 space that says "send the call!" and 99 that say "Not this time!" for the little ball to land on, and it's nothing but a game of pure luck.

Im still at 3 specials and have bought over 400 crates. Had 2 bullsh!t calls. Hopefully they patch that soon. I'd be at least at 5 specials by now if the system worked properly.

My first (non-troll call) came after my 45th purchase. Second one came 43 purchases later.

Two points only make a line, not a trend, but I report what happens in another 29 purchases.

I hope I get the Pocket Watch again, since my last one got visually turned into the Egg.

Well, to follow up yesterday's post

There are 6 "rare" items and in total you get 735.000$ for it when you have all 6 (my office pc said 806.000$ lol). Value doesn't stack (sale price on that pc is bugged) always use the pc in the warehouse to check your value. You CAN'T get any special crates double, i had all 6 of them and didn't receive any other special items for more then 100 deliveries. Sold them off and got 2 special items immediately after that. Normally i have 3-4 special items a day, didn't get any when i had those 6 for 2 days.

 

I don't always get a call, but when i do i let her finish and it's always there (except for 1 time waited to long, was afk) quite often it shows without getting the call. I get one every 20-30 crate orders on average, i don't have a feeling this is a set thing, rather random.

 

To be honest, when i get them now i just sell them off immediately, there's nothing special about it anymore after so many "rare" items, also nothing special in terms of value, doesn't rise in price or anything, just takes up space. Wanted to fill up a warehouse with them like a lot of others but that went out of the window quickly. R* could've done way more with the special crates and the whole crates system, lot's of lost opportunities imo.

 

And for all the ones that are scared to get their warehouses raided, grow some and just play the game instead of freaking out over nothing. Filled quite a bit of warehouses already and never got raided. All big warehouses and filled up with 1 or 3 crate buys. And all just fine

 

Always play in empty public lobby's with friends, changed "MTU" setting on PS4 to 800 (thanks to another gtaforums member) and works every time to get empty lobbies, just lags your friends out sometimes .
