Yes, joined a lobby on PC yesterday and was immediately frozen like in the old days. If I was going to use mods, I would use them for something more creative than just freezing people. Super lame.

There clearly is a lot of concern about "modders", "cheaters", and/or "hackers" and after the big CEO update, Rockstar appears to have cleaned house and gotten rid of a lot of the riff raff. However, recently more and more players are reporting suspicious behavior. It's perfectly normal for people to assume the mod menus are back because that sh*t was unstoppable only a month or two ago.

 

 

 

 

Now.. has anyone found any evidence of actual mod menus working in online sessions or not? Are we at risk of having players kill the entire server with a carpet bomb or worse... shooting minigun money at us? I don't feel like having some asswipe force my account to get banned.

That's hardly an upside. After getting a taste of the finally pure and clean online public sessions after so many months of being stuck in private sessions, i seirously doubt i would even bother going back to private sessions anymore. If the cheaters return in full force.. i'm done..

You have no idea how misinformation can cause this forum to be a river of sh*t. One moron publicly exclaims that there are mod menus on PS4 and XBone (currently 100% impossible and not even close), and then people spout it as fact from then on.

but this was the first time ever that i saw someone doing a glitch, my friend and i were trying to kill them, then i saw a Tug, in the middle of the street, thats why we thought they are hackers. i saw many videos of this glitch but i don't wanna get banned, im not a pussy glitcher like them, i dont do money glitches. but those f*ckers are getting on my nervous. FYI: The teleport glitch on all platforms is patched from a hotfix today, but people can still use it for god mode/OTR.

 

R* priorities - only one part of Teleport/Godmode/OTR would be useful for fast money, and that's the part that got turbo-patched. The parts that really impact fairness/other player's fun remain vulnerable.

 

Same deal with putting sanity checks on transfers - being a level 6000 with an invisible body doesn't really impact sc sales so they don't do it.

Me and a friend ran into a guy who had explosive rounds on a micro smg on PC today Apparently the new way to cheat modifies your memory to allow you to cheat I think.

You are not going to find cheaters being in passive mod and not doing anything in freeroam, just start fighting with people/doing freeroam events/CEO/VIP work and you will find quite a few cheaters on PC.

Unfortunately, it is guaranteed to never work as R* will never take reports seriously and will only give modders/hackers/cheaters slap on the wrists instead of actually banning them. Even with proof, it often falls on deaf ears as their efforts have been proven next to ineffective, to the point where R* will never be perma-banning cheaters and hackers for good.

I would go to rockstar support page just to read all the crying about being banned!!!!!!!! sorry but i love to see this happen to the very people who laughed at me that i could not kill him in god mode..........it makes me smile

So i was doing ceo today with another friendly crew and three strangers joined. Suddenly they attacked us and we were able to beat them back for a fair bit.

 

One of them activated thier godmode it seems and i couldnt even get his health to drop despite planting close to a thousand rounds of minigun at close range. That guy had the audacity to be nonchalant, sniping others before pulling out his minigun to shred me.

 

We kicked him but turns out his remaining crew has godmode too. When i called him out on it he said he could just buy another cheating software and challanged me to report him.

Seems like they only have godmode or they werent using the force explosions... Yet.

 

So much for C*'s anticheat.

It is a save editor which allows people to push their health up to a certain number which is very close to god mode.

Actual Mod Menus do not work however.

Don't know if this is modding/hacking or just something gone wrong on certain sessions...

 

This week I once again on a session (left immediately) couldn't enter my cars all of the sudden. So you try to get back in your car and the entry sequence starts, but immediatel stops. So you open door and bam freeze... Can't enter... Nothing... I encountered this issue about two/three times during last three weeks. Other session and it's back to normal...

 

Yesterday I entered a session where all transactions were off... Got a notification about transactions not working. So not services from lamar, lester,... No lsc... Very strange. At the barbershop, all hairstyles were free...Left and when I joined another session, everything was back to normal. So transactions back to normal and hairstyles back at regular prices, so no free stuff... I don't know what it was, or perhaps something going wrong at rockstar's end or my connection, dunno... Just strange, never happened before.
