Modders are back.

So i was doing ceo today with another friendly crew and three strangers joined. Suddenly they attacked us and we were able to beat them back for a fair bit.

 

One of them activated thier godmode it seems and i couldnt even get his health to drop despite planting close to a thousand rounds of minigun at close range. That guy had the audacity to be nonchalant, sniping others before pulling out his minigun to shred me.

 

We kicked him but turns out his remaining crew has godmode too. When i called him out on it he said he could just buy another cheating software and challanged me to report him.

Seems like they only have godmode or they werent using the force explosions... Yet.

 

So much for C*'s anticheat.

Probably some kind of glitch.

 

There are various glitches around, but I don't think the consoles have quite been cracked yet.

 

The end result's still BS and cheating though, so yeah, I can see why you're not all that happy lol.

Well, just to be honest, there is a teleport/OTR/GM glitch (PS4/XB1/PC) on a certain website RIGHT NOW. You can teleport while in public lobbies. Then use that glitch to glitch more to become OTR or God Mode. Broken game is broken.

Well i was too absorbed in beating them back that i didnt think to record. All i recall is one of then had the ign of neil aziz and the other with jin. Both were members of the PSNG crew though.

 

And this is not for B and moan. Just a PSA headsup.

Yeah. This is only going to get worse with ceo mission only in public lobbies.

 

Modders could just simply force explode a player while transporting deliveries.

 

One click and several hours effort all gone.

There's a better one, just look at the other threads on the main page for Online.... I know it works and if problems arise in my Online sessions, I'll use it.

There's a better one, just look at the other threads on the main page for Online.... I know it works and if problems arise in my Online sessions, I'll use it.

Risky though. Dont wanna risk a ban if the modding goes belly up. We dont know how rockstar scans thier anticheat.

On PC the vast majority of them are gone, I've only run into two so far. One used godmode and the other was teleporting and said he writes his own scripts and is using the .NET Framework to mod his game, no hooks required.

The report function is useless as it is anyhow. Reported loads of lowlives but theres no action taken.

You are only slightly changing your personal client and not for any benefit to yourself. It's simply a way to isolate yourself from modders, nothing more.

 

If you wanted hacks to exploit Online, that's a different matter and you deserve the ban, but that's eventually....

Ever since the patch was released, I came across a single god mode modder. All he did was use god mode so we couldnt kill him. I wouldnt say modders are back, they're pretty rare so far and they seem to be able to just do god mode.

so then where should the line be drawn? a hack or mod is obvious, but glitching is to be considered as ok? so then where is the line between wall breach glitch and custom vehicle color glitch? they are both not exactly the same, but yet there is a glitch being taken advantage of.

 

my point being you play in ways to work around the actual way the game was made and intended then you are basicly cheating really. despite how innocent or harmless something may be cheating is cheating, which is using hacks, a mod or just plain using faults within the game aka glitches, then yes you are not playing by the so called "rules" which by most peoples standards would be considered as cheating and that is a fact. you say you are not cheating , the that is your right to have your opinion, but so do others and they may not see things the same way. so i ask again where should the line be drawn for something to be considered as cheating or not?

i cant play the game as i am meant to with the modders running about and since C* isnt going to do jack about my endless reports players are forced to do this to protect themselves. If C* actually did anything we wouldnt have this conversation right now. It is out of control.

there are no hacks for gta online for newest update , well there is one but it disables other players

i mean you can ONLY play in one player session

Cheating is exploiting the game to your advantage be it for money or invisiblity. Glitches like outfits glitches, or custom car glitches are harmless, I have people crying over my Yankton plates, harmless, non game breaking. I just think people like b*txhing about shx

Ecountered same situation on PC. Name was CptAir. I have killed him a few times because he was the associate of a dick CEO I was battling with.

Some time later they delivered a crate and well... I wanted to kill them. He was the one driving in an Insurgent with the crate. Blasted him a few times with explosive cannon and he kept driving. A little suspicious, but I thought "lag". Well, then he got out and fired at me. Engine cut out and I slammed into a tree behind him. And I was like: Still alive?

Another guy came, ran him over and I put a heavy sniper round in his body. After three more hits... yep, godmode. Recorded it, but... does it even matter?
