I still wonder does this work?

I just finished this with 2 guys( who I still don't want to name because maybe they didn' screw me over)

What they did is set O as host and his friend to 70%, while random and me at 15.

So we did the heist and he quit under the bridge, but then I got the message that we failed and me and random didn't get any money.

I'm curious if it worked for them though. If it did, I will put their names on the forums because it's a ripp of, while they do it to others over and over again....

No, they didn't screw you over. The host left too early.

Where exactly he needs to quit the game?

Will u be up to try it with me?

No, it's not. It was explained several times and your understanding is backward: it's easier to patch the garage access. Repeating... that's another story.

Um no. It is not a patch glitch it has to do with the mechanics of the ps4. If you don't know what you are talking about, why flap your gums?

lol well said. People are just stupid or complete morons if they think the kuruma is a glitch, it is completely intended and these idiots need to stopped calling it a glitch because it is not.

wow didn't know this topic would make such a discussion on whats a glitch...the problem was i had finale saved up and when the new dlc came out it vanished from my heist board. Thats all, so i thought it may have been patched. At least i learned whats a glitch/exploit in detail.

This has been working since the heist DLC came out. One of the longest running money-making exploits in the game. Unless they update the heist DLC, it will always be part of the game

FFS STOP CALLING IT A GLITCH!

Just because you heard someone else mislabel it doesnt mean you have to.

A glitch has a specific meaning. The Pac. Std. heist is not glitched or NOONE would be able to play it. What people are doing is more correctly called a feature or at worst an exploit.

Every time you folks call it a glitch is like when a Toddler calls a Firetruck a firef*ck. Its amusing the first time but with repetition you begin to worry the child might be autistic.

No it's not a "Feature"

it's an exploit. If you're gonna correct someone's phrasing, then use the correct phrasing yourself. A feature is a specific element of the game that the artist/developer specifically wants you to experience. Being able to repeat the heist finale without having to do the setups is clearly not intended by Rockstar.

It is 100% an exploit.

It's not patched, We did it several times last night. Also, for those that don't already know...There is no need for heavy armor if "crowd control # 2" runs to the bikes by themselves. If "CC2" runs, you don't get any helicopters and there is only one cop at the street you have to cross. Piece of cake.

mind explaining or showing this? I'm genuinely curious.

Some of my friends like to do it in boxer shorts and a beer hat. I prefer heavy combat suit + scarf, it gives you a lot more wiggle room if something goes wrong or you're not in the mood to really concentrate too much.

There's 2 players on "Crowd Control". If ONLY the crowd control position lowest on the list runs there are far less cops and no helicopters while you run. If hacker holds all the money he does not ever need to leave the bank and crowd control 2 can just sprint for the alley as soon as he comes out the door with CC1 and demolition rocketing the two cop cars by the alley to cover him.

Also I've heard reports of people NOT hosting but losing their finale when the host experiences connectivity issues slightly after going under the bridge. Some theorize this may be connected to picking up the other 3 players in the bank instead of suiciding at the bikes and re-spawning by the garage.

CC2 is the second players designated as crowd control starting from the top of the heist board. The host can therefore never be CC2. For some reason that player triggers fewer spans of enemies on the way through the alley. This includes the cars on the street you have to cross and the helicopters. However this only works if that player is running solo, for obvious reasons. That player, for the same reason, is the best person to get the Kuruma and will get into the garage every time right away. He also spawns closest to it if you do use the respawn after destroying the bikes tactic.

+1, same as glitching being called mods.

Or script kiddies being called "modders".

More like "hackers"

P4DR0N3, please spare us your false elitism. I also work in the IT industry, in fact I am a systems security and forensics specialist, since you want to try to brag about industry standing for accolades from forums. Your argument about why non-industry gamers need to use exact and correct industry terminology to appease you is pathetic at best. The more important part is it people understand what the OP meant by his usage of the word "glitch" as opposed to "exploit". To be more accurate, it's not at all like someone not being able to differentiate between a doctor and a veterinarian, but more like some one goes to the doctor and says they stubbed their toe and now it hurts, and the doctor then lectures the patient about how the proper term for the condition is that they have a hair line fracture and waves his medical degree in their face for not knowing they broke their toe.

If you want to talk using specific, correct industry terminology, might I suggest you get off of gamer forums and go discuss the game on industry forums instead of pandering to gamers for praise of your knowledge as an industry professional. Though I use the word professional loosely in this case as real professionals don't have to seek praise from those outside of the industry.

Another trick I recently learned, If someone just points their RPG at this black dude here then the alarm will not get triggered. No need to cover the alarm guy in the back.

Amxg7eP.jpg

I am not sure if you can just stand by him with your RPG out or if you actually need to point it at him, haven't tested that yet.

You dont have to stand next to the black guy. Just stand near any of the hostages with your RPG out and your intimidation will never go down, no need to aim. Dont go into the room with the two bank tellers, as that doesn't matter.

I usually jump on the round table, and aim my rpg at the painting near the stairs for a second. As soon as the guard walks out of the upstairs room, press the trigger and boom!

Yeah I know about the normal RPG/intimidation thing. I was under the impression that if no one covered the dude in the back by the alarm button he will hit it even if intimidation is up. Maybe I'm mistaken...

How To Get Away with M

A little off topic, but I actualy think it is quite amazong how Heists have turned into a speedrun thing, probably not how R* intended them, but it shows how a single mission can be perfectionized by playing and learning it over and ocer again.

Though I still think the "repeat the finale glitch" is cheating.

The other methods seem pretty well researched and have a lot to do with Speedrunning.

I like that.

you are mistaken, the RPG holder can just stand in the lobby where the majority of the hostages are. It's a do nothing job if you have an RPG. Edited by FlacidJack

for me someone quits before ending the pac std heist then loaded me in free roam with a duffle bag in my back. well i saved it as outfits and btw i play always with randoms so most of the time no one knows these tricks on this heist so going on bikes is much more fun.

Of course they intended it. That's what the elite challenges are - highly difficult (to many, basically impossible) speed targets for the finales of all five heists. Those were in the game as soon as heists came out.

What about the glitch where the masks go off before you go start shooting.

I hate it because I like to keep my face hidden from cops. If they know what color my hair is then they have a profile.

It's impossible for them to fix unless the game was constantly saving progress.

Not impossible at all. I'd have thought quite easy. Have 2 checkpoints. Pass the first one and it's marked as completed for the host. Pass the second one and it's marked as completed for everyone else.
