all these whining solo freemode threads are starting to make me laugh. I want to play online but not with others makes no sense. The fun of this game is a group of friends playing and joking and making serious money together. The only time i want to be solo is when i'm driving for no particular reason and the police don't drive on the wrong side of the road.

I play by myself or with my friends, I couldn't care less how you play. Needless to say I enjoy doing jobs without interference of other random players who only want to see people like us suffer. I don't play online to be your entertainment, I play online to entertain myself, period.

We all like the CEO jobs for different reasons, I enjoy the deliveries, making the cash and the challenge without trolls, you on the other hand enjoy the challenge which is great, this works for some people but not all of us.

The NPC's are enough challenge me and with randoms seem impossible. I also do not get bored because i have no one in my session, I enjoy the peace and tranquility and quietness :) If I hear a jet or explosion I am only 10 seconds away from boosting anyone from my session .. and continuing on my merry way ..

I'm pretty much lone wolf nearly all the time, and lately I've been getting more comfortable selling (moderately) larger amounts.

I have three small warehouses, and have started filling them all the way and selling them like that.

Small fry I know, but anyway, should I upgrade to a bigger one now? Also, should I get a medium warehouse to bridge the gap, or jump straight up to large?

Medium and large will give you much better profits in the long run.

Also the delivery missions are tougher. It's something to look at for sure.

I have 1 small,2 mediums and 1 large. I hardly ever use the small anymore and wish I could sell it.

I rotate between the medium and large during cooldowns.

Well said, Rapid...Well said...

Wrt warehouses...

I first bought a large warehouse... I like it, but it takes a longer time to fill it up and sell it. That is, if you like me and want so sell completely stocked up warehouses, just for the fun of it... If you do partial sales, no prob then...

I bought a small warehouse, but the 250K is a lil small on the cash side... So I decided to use that one for my special items (got two up till now, bogus phonecalls from my assistant aside :-( )

So I bought a medium warehouse to bridge the long filling up of my large warehouse... Only 42 crates vs 111 crates...

So the way I see it... I purchase 3 crates each time and alternate between large and medium warehouse... That gives me three medium sales until I reach the big sale of 2.2 million... I like it like that... Large warehouse takes me about 4 days to fill (when grinding hard (three crate purchase followed by VIP-mission to cover costs). On a more sane grinding level it takes me about a week... So now I get a medium sale every few days... And after three of those a big whopper comes around.. :-) And when those special items arrive, they get stocked in the small warehouse. Atm, with just two items in it, it's above its normal 250K price...

As you can see, I'm enjoying all of this, and have my tactics set out... :p I can only recommend this (for as long as we can do it like this ofcourse (solo public session (with friends))

See HellBendzor's comment below on medium warehouses.

What I do is have 2 small warehouses and a large what I do is slow fill my large warehouse and probably would of been done except I got raided and lost 24 crates, thanks R*.

I would recommend a Small and a Large. The large is too enticing to ignore and the most profitable.

I started doing something similar except i use a small vs medium but switch between Small and Large, I am planning on filling all 3 of them before going on a sale run, 2 smalls and 1 large. I did get raided in the process, so will need to watch out for that again and quit if it happens again.

Yeah the raids is something to be weary of... I had it happen once on my full large warehouse (first time full, go figure)... I lost 10%, so 11 crates or around 240K, which isn't peanuts...

So what I do now... I try to stay below 80% capacity. If I get above that, I try to push for 100% and selling it... My medium warehouse is at 38 crates today and it only took fatigue on my side to not fill it up an sell it today.. So tomorrow it's filling that one up and staying near it or keeping an eagle eye out on that one when I wait for that last (single) crate purchase/delivery for that one...

But it ads a lil tension and riskiness to the game... Nothing a buzzard can't correct (but with a lil loss cashwise)... :p

Just sold off my 2nd full warehouse (minus the 3 special items) this weekend, and tried it solo. Completely different than when I had help to sell off my first. Had to fly a Titan and make 10 drops throughout LS/BC while being pursued by helicopters. Didn't bother checking to see what type of choppers they were, as I was making good time. Had 30 minutes to complete the mission (and I think that if any cargo was destroyed it would have counted as a total loss), and got it done in about 10 minutes.

So the heli's didn't catch up to you ? Did you have to do any dives to avoid being hit ?

Not one hit that I noticed. I usually have the sound muted while I listen to music/podcasts, so the only times I hear anything are when I get a phone call and the sound comes through the controller. I made sure to do a few dives to build up speed, and generally stayed pretty high from the start so that I wouldn't have to climb (and lose speed) during the mission.

Yes, the one where you are in a Titan and getting chased by choppers is not hard solo. When going full speed in the Titan you can stay just outside the choppers most effective range of fire, but when you turn they'll catch up fast. That's why you plot a course in your mind that need as few turns as possible. Also the armor upgrade is a good idea, and you can use the Merrywheather backup Helicopter to distract the attacking choppers.

I have made a little more than 7 mill. now. With one medium warehouse and all solo.

Sold 4 large warehouses and 3 special items solo in public lobbies so far. I had one person hit my Titan five times with a homing launcher. Fortunately I have all the upgrades. Made just under $11m.

1. If I get plane drops and have npc helis attacking me, can I land a titan/cuban elswhere to get into buzzard and kill them?

2. should I go in buzz 1st and make sure there's no npc helis?

3. or you only trigger them with cargo plane

4. Can you always avoid npc helis if you fly low? Or it doesnt matter?

Thx in advance

according to what others have posted you can enter the delivery plane to trigger the npc enemies.

after that you can take a buzzard/hydra and fly the delivery route and npc enemies(if any) should spawn, after taking them out you should be able to complete the mission without issue.

Has anyone done multiple-aircraft or multiple-Tugs deliveries solo?

Yep - it was my 1st ever done. Had to fly three Cubans from LSIA to Sandy Shore. Landing the 1st was like a Gang Attack so I bypassed the area at the hangar straight into the dessert, jumped out of the Cuban and pulled out sniper and at least Minigun. The funny thing was, it counted as delivered. Once cleared the area I called the Buzzard and grabbed the next. Repeated that and was done. Lucky me.

Sorry if this had already been answered in the thread (I skim read and couldn't see it).

Are we saying then that the maximum amount of vehicles in any sale mission is either:

3 brickades

2 Cubans

1 tug

1 titan

I had a mission to deliver 16 crates in 2 Cubans in 30 mins. If they increase the number of those I'd be struggling to complete solo in 30 mins.

"1 Tug" ( I'm not sure but i don't have read from three tugs as of now)

3 Titan's

??? Van

look the my last post (3 Cubans).

If you use the CEO-Buzzard its not so hard to go back to the airport it took me about 20 min to finish.

Did 60 crates last night, $1.09m. I had to deliver 3 brickades, got it done in 8 min total. I was lucky it was such an easy one.

I'm amazed that you'd ever need 3 titans to shift that stock but thanks for clearing that up.

So I bit the bullet and got myself a large warehouse. I am an absolute bum now though - I'm sub-$200K.

I just hope my first crate collection wasn't an omen:

I usually do - the session splits 5 minutes in, so I tend to let it work its magic.

This time I naively started before the session split.

Oh well, at least I had the sense to only order one crate (ordering 3 in a jet-full session wouldn't have been wise).

How does that even work? Getting into a private-public lobby. Thought you could only do it in public lobbies?

Well I just wait until everyone inevitably lags out and the session splits. Happens all the time for me.

Actually setting it up to be private? I don't think you could do that. I guess you could use a lag switch though.

Ah that's what i thought too. Happens to me almost every 30 min, other times it doesn't happen for hours. Guess i should become a CEO then hehe, just need the money to buy warehouses and a building...
