I'm glad r* added more risk reward into this game but with the sh*tty payouts I would almost agree with most of you. Thing is its a sandbox game and I can do whatever the hell I feel like. Deal with it.

We'll just kick you or kill you till kingdom come.
Haha kicking someone for playing the game is far worse than the stupid reason you're kicking them for.

If me and my friends are gathering cargo and you assault us why shouldn't we kick you if you know we are peaceful.Because it's GTA not a utopia where we dance around a campfire and sing songs

If you see someone in a jet, tell your bodyguard to get a jet and distract him

Yeah, and if the person in the antagonising jet sees your bodyguard get into a jet, their attention is now on your bodyguard who'll destroy your bodyguard's Jet while rising up in hovering before he/she even presses right d-pad to go jnto jet mode. And after destroying your bodyguard, his attention is back to you.

Think before you post you f*cking dumbass.

You gotta be stupid to get a Hydra without being in passive mode, specially when there's another jet in the session. And damn, u mad bro? Chill

Still, you're f*cking stupid. Bodyguards can't f*cking use passive mode.

Destroy the enemy before you join as a bodyguard, then join as a bodyguard and distract him/ disable him to get another jet until your organization deliver crates, done.

Same here, I did it once, saw the payout, it cost me more to destroy stopped doing it now, like to point out not played in months and had no clue what this update was, all it said was destroy crate.

EDIT: More I think the more I'm confused with regards to King of the Castle and Beast etc, if you stop others then what is the difference? Apart from the obvious being the crates were bought for "money"

Also in Races ramming other players, in free roam picking on low levels who don't have the health or weapons compared to you

Your edit is spot on the money, the CEO thing is a game mode, with winners and losers. People are hating because they are losing, its lame.

I'm rolling in cash and my goal is to make even more.

Wasting my own time destroying other people's crates is counter-productive not just to them but to me as well.

No wonder people complain about not being able to afford stuff. They're playing the game wrong.

Didn't you hear? That's how youshould play the game! It's not a kumbaya whatever the f*ck you call it or a Mario game, it's GTA! It's not about making money despite having the word "Finance" in the title, it's about killing everyone!

It's a game mechanic, and obviously if you can do it in the game then it's the right way to play, so what we should do is shut up so that they can kill in peace while complaining about how stupid jets/homing weapons/armored cars are even though it's also a game mechanic and a correct way to play because it's not ironic or hypocrital to do so!

BUY AND SELL SPECIAL CARGO

Buy missions require skill from a coordinated team of Associates to successfully pull off. Missions are grouped into three categories that increase in difficulty based on how many crates of contraband you intend to purchase and how much risk you are willing to take on. With greater risks – whether from the FIB, LSPD or rival player Organizations – come greater rewards.

Definitely to be a dick. I just destroyed one warehouse sale because a guy couldn't shut up in his mic, made him lose 700k I guess, it was really funny.

Both of you are the reasons why most of us INTENTIONALLY lag out sessions to do this solo. Go f*ck yourselves.

As someone who is tired of people blasting their music out of their mics, using crappy crackling mics, or just having it's sensitivity set so high i can hear every thing i don't want to...if the guy had his mic full blast and wouldn't silence it, he kinda had it coming.

Killing somebody over and over after they destroy your sh*t ain't enough

CEO's should be able to subject them to worse torture

like CEO's should slap those f*ckers in the same torture scenario from singleplayer while simultaneously destroying every single one of their vehicles and having the motherf*cker pay for all his destroyed vehicles.

also after effects of the torture should leave the player with half their max health for a month, limping (unable to sprint) for a month, any damage done to them at all instantly opens their stitches and they start bleeding out + all their weapons and clothes removed for a week so they have to walk around LS naked with c*nt and DICK written on their forehead with the rape mod enabled so anytime a hobo is near they straight maul you, pin you down and raep you. Also you get mugged nonstop.

  • Pay whatever the person is delivering, so if the player is delivering $2 million+ worth of goods the player who destroys that delivery should pay the full $2 million+.

Where would the 2 million come from, exactly? Because I'm pretty sure a bunch of cargo worth 2 million will not be 2 million if you destroy it.

As OP says, the only possible reason that Rockstar mentions the game mechanic of destroying other players' deliveries, is to be a dick. Rockstar wants this.

If it weren't already completely obvious, it is now. Rockstar intentionally has put maximum imbalance in GTA0 to create the maximum amount of rage, and the make the griefers and assholes happy. Rockstar hates the fanbase and takes every opportunity to troll the players and create frustration rather than fun.

We should be asking ourselves, why does Rockstar hate us so much? We've given them $3.5B f*cking dollars.

But seriously, the only way to make destroying crates legit is making the reward higher. 5k per box is good enough.

Only a complete prick would destroy someones cargo, but really, why would anyone try a delivery in a full public lobby? Find an empty one and do it there ffs.

I haven't destroyed anybody's crates and won't unless they attack me first.

Maybe they should have something similar to bad sport points where if you destroy a certain amount of crates your sent to the prison in Sandy shores for a GTA day.

What's the benefit to destroying shipments/crates?

I destroyed a player's tug boat while he was doing a large $250,000 warehouse sale (which he got very angry about.. booo hoo), but it only gave me $2000. So why the hell did Rockstar even bother letting players intercept these transactions? It seems like the only benefit to stopping a sale is to be a dick. I only attacked thinking I would get 50% of the haul, but instead, got about as much as I would have gotten just robbing a liquor store.

Because its GTAO and thats how they have designed the game and this update. You're not being a dick, you just playing GTAO as its supposed to be played. Good job hitting a warehouse sale, and yes you should get rewarded more.

I haven't destroyed anybody's crates and won't unless they attack me first.

Possibly the dumbest post of 2016. Rockstar designed the game mode so that people are supposed to attack other peoples shipments! hence the session wide notification and reward!. Why would they give anyone bad sport for it.

I still don't get all the crying.

If I want to waste my time chasing and selling crates, I'll lag myself out a session. That's something that will never change as Rockstar can't control our connections.

If I want to have fun and play GTA O rather than a game of fetch I won't lag myself out.

Why is there all the crying here? Just lag yourself out of a public session and take the easy route with no challenge if you want to be left in peace.

Destroying other people's crates serves only Rockstar. You are doing their dirty work by taking money out of the economy which in the long run might be replaced with shark cards.

The rewards for the players themselves are laughable. So it basically appeals to the lower instincts of players who enjoy making other people's lives miserable, because there is no other reason to even care. Everybody knows that the recurring argument about GTA being a crime game is only a fig leaf. If you were that deep into roleplay mode you would realise that crime is about making money and that attacking other criminals whose business does not affect yours in any way for no or hardly any profit at all is a stupid, stupid thing. And the PvP challenge would be much better if one side was not preoccupied with something elso, so that can not be the point either.

"Fortunately" there is never a shortage of psychopaths in any online game.

Did it need to be in a jet??? A Buzzard can easily shoot down a Cuban/Tug and a Brickade, if you don't have good air support don't complain about your stuff getting destroyed.

At least you can pop out of your Brickade/Tug and deal with a Buzzard easily enough, then be on your way.

A Buzzard will actually put itself in harm's way, and leave itself somewhat vulnerable. A jet, on the other hand, will just zoom over and dive bomb you if you step out your vehicle for one second.

As for the Cuban, well I'd imagine the missile jammer is actually an effective deterrent against Buzzards. A Buzzard is (as far as I know) not fast enough to zoom up to the Cuban and use its guns, so would probably need to rely on missiles. Which can be jammed. The jet on the other hand, can just rush up and blow the Cuban up with its explosive bullets.

Helicopters might not be good news for CEOs, but I think jets are really what's bothering people.

Wow some of you clearly are too retarded to comprehend some basic game mechanics.

CEO's cannot hire bodyguards while doing a mission, so that invalidates the point of leaving the organization, going passive, getting a jet, and joining back.

Lagging out-You have to have one hell of a lagswitch to do this. Some people have worse connection than a fast food place's wifi and they can still play.

Deal with it- I highly doubt R* realized what they put in the game when making this update. If people were on the ground attacking with guns, that would be fair game for both sides. However, due to horrid game design, players have an arsenal of military grade weapons with near unlimited ammo.

In conclusion, if you want to ruin someones day, play flight simulator and crash into stuff. Keep your insecurities off a game where people try and have fun.

I think that people who destroy crate deliveries should:

  • Get bad sport points.
  • Pay whatever the person is delivering, so if the player is delivering $2 million+ worth of goods the player who destroys that delivery should pay the full $2 million+.

What if the organization you were selling your goods to became upset at this person who interfered? Wouldn't they be upset too? It would be nice if the offending party had a massive bounty placed on them or become marked along with a constant barrage of NPC's who tried to attack them.

Sure you can be a dick, but there is a price to pay. What would Don Corleone do?

On the side of taking out shipments, players were messaged by criminals to intercept the shipment of goods?

"Take out the shipment and I will make it worth your time."

It would be cool if in addition to destruction players could salvage the crates for their operation by either selling them or bringing them to warehouse.

How about making it so other players have to actually take the crates themselves?

Surely that makes more sense than destroying them anyway? Destroyed goods aren't worth much.

Either way your being a lazy dick, he spent time and money getting that and you tried to steal his sh*t without doing any of the work. This is good on R*s part lazy people should not be rewarded.

Except for the *cough cough* NOT-so-tiny-little-detail that R* sends everyone a message encouraging them to destroy other people's cargo.

If you're looking to place blame on someone, first aim it at R*--then other players.

FWIW, the Cuban cannot outrun a Buzzard (at least an NPC one)--even if you've bought all the upgrades for it. First-hand experience on that last night. They spawn out of thin air, so you have zero warning, and jammers do bugger-all against NPC Buzzards (and Valkyries), because they spray the freaking heck out of you with their mini-guns--with typical R*-programmed NPC accuracy, of course--and they're not hindered by their guns not being in line-of-sight to work like we would be were the shoe on the other foot.

Was so much fun that I've flipped my middle finger up at that game play...and it's going to stay up until R* balances some of the pathetically unbalanced BS in the game. Jets included...this isn't

; it's supposed to be "Grand Theft Auto" IIRC. Edited by DentureDynamite
