The new Further Adventure In Finance And Felony Update, crate trading is another option to make cash, however, Rockstar Games made a in my opinion, a very terrible decision, you must be in a public session to trade those crates, and as everyone knows, public session is the least place most of us want to be in, with all those jet fighters and players that just eager to kill you.

With this decision made by Rockstar, it could cost us millions for nothing,i did a trade with 2140000 worth of crates, it all burns into ashes because of a jet keep air striking us and we have no chance to fight back.

What do you think about this decisions, should rockstar really add this into the game? And have you experienced the same?Let me know.

Note:Not a English speaker, i apologizes for any grammar or spelling mistakes i made.

Kinda defeats the point if you do it private.

Good point however i think Rockstar should do something to balance it...?

1.AI jets go after Hydra's and Lazers that are flying around/attacking players instead of regular police.

2.Increase payouts in public sessions.

3.Allow buy and sell missions in closed sessions, keep the current payouts.

4.Increase the chance of events where AI enemies attack you in closed sessions.

5.Bonus: Make each gang have respect like older GTA games, the more you piss them off in gang attacks and buy/sell missions, the higher chance they will randomly come after you.

Question is confusing as hell..the wording is off. But there's already a thread about this. Easier to understand and comes with a petition. Find that thread Op and ask a mod to lock this up.

Here's the thing - initially I hated the idea that it was Public Session only, but I actually think it works, in a crazy way.

In the last three days I've got into the habit of contacting CEOs of other Organizations in session - saying "Peace between CEOs? I won't attack you" and honestly - weirdly - everyone I messaged so far has responded in agreement.

Of course, you only have their word and they could turn on you at any point... but that's when I realised that actually makes it a little more engaging. You can form tentative alliances, agree to respectfully avoid each other or, in one case that I experienced last night, worked alongside another organization to escort a convoy up to Sandy Shores. I've never had that level of co-operative play with randoms in freeroam before.

If they turn on you, I suppose you can plan your revenge (if you're so inclined) but then it's more than just random killing to stave boredom - it's shadowing a rival, watching their movements, waiting for an opportunity to strike - now this sounds more like the GTAO I was expecting all that time ago.

So despite everything that's being said about F&F, by messaging other CEOs with my intentions over the last few days I've been playing without much in the way of bother. In fact, I've lost more crates to crew members crashing planes than to randoms in lobbies.

That said, I do support the idea of CEO mission in closed sessions as an additional option for players, but honestly I think I'll still play mine in public. It's becoming a lot more interesting that way :)

It's your own stupid fault if you can't tell CEO is designed to cost you money, yet you keep trying to persevere with it.

I get why they would have it in Public sessions only (besides Rockstar's major hardon to make freeroam into a constant WWIII warzone). But doing these in Invite sessions alone, or with a couple friends isn't that much different than grinding Heists, or VIP work. For the amount of time it takes to fill up a large Warehouse, plus the cost of crates, you're pretty much making the same amount of cash. A easy solution would be to increase the Enemy A.I presence in Invite sessions as compared to Public lobbies to keep that risk factor intact. Of course this is Rockstar programming we're talking about.

its surprisingly quiet in most lobbies. but i changed some router settings to provoke solo sessions and now that i turned everyhting back to normal i wonder where the full mayhem lobbies are.

the only thing that needs changing is: -no explosive rounds and no auto lock on unarmed vehicles.... the dog fights in the air would be great !!!! i would love to try to dogde an attack. but a FAIR ONE.

the jet lovers would be considered a fair threat to the CEO's cargo and not a "why the f*ck, rockstar? why?"

The only way I can see invite only is to disable Pegasus vehicles and disable spawning attack vehicles in the session which would balance out the risk/reward

Personally I say let us do them in invite/solo/crew sessions along with VIP/CEO work/jobs but remove the bonuses from the jobs so sightseer would only pay 20k, but only remove the bonuses from non public sessions and then increase payouts for selling contraband in public sessions, maybe a 10% increase. in private sessions increase the Ai a bit when it comes to buying missions, so instead of just 2 cars chasing us, make it 3, give them a bit more bite, instead of 18 enemies at a sell mission, make it 22.

It'll give people an incentive to do the stuff in public sessions while allowing those who don't want to deal with hackers and the Anti-Social Introverts of San Andreas (ASISA) to partake in all the fun buying and selling in peace.

Small things that'll make it worth trying to do this stuff in public but not enough that you'll regret sacrificing the money for the peace and quiet.

Funny enough there is a way to do solo trading in a public session. Stupid rockstar never bothered to fix the bug that causes a player to be "left on their own". Basically you jump from one public session to another until you see all the players go - ie player left, player left, player left, player left, player left... and then you're on your own. The session is still public and you can carry out your CEO activities. It also stops other players from joining the session and you get absolutely no grief apart from cops and gangs. The latter aren't too intelligent and you can deal with them quite easily.

Then you have people kicking everybody from their sessions, making the game even more frustrating than it already is. If rockstar actually addressed the issues then people wouldn't have to resort to such unethical practices.

You understand it was rockstars plan for all our money to burn to ashes right?. They didn't expect people to call a truce and exploit yhe crappy lobbys. It's totally backfires to the point no one is even buying ammo or will ever need a sharkcard again. I think it's very amusing.

More options are good. Restrictions,as the word suggests, restrict things. For better or worse, I'd like the choice.

I like the idea of slightly lower payouts while in an invite lobby and longer cooldown between buys.

Thankfully my internet is quite pissss poor so I never usually have to wait more than 10 minutes for everyone to 'leave'

Amazing how gullible some of these kids are. I wonder what they know about Syria!:S

I'm basically already doing it in private sessions by just desynchronizing my lobby. Nobody can join unless invited, and nobody gets in my way.

May as well let us just do it in invite only lobbies at this point, considering how easy it is to make an empty lobby with this game's sh*t peer-to-peer system.

The only actual threats to your cargo with other players around are jets and negligence anyways, the public lobby obligation is pointless.
