Armored Cars On CEA Headhunter Missions

Where can I buy one of these amazing armored cars used by the NPC's on Headhunter missions?! I hit one with a missile from my Buzzard and it didn't explode. A second missile strike knocked it off the road. A THIRD missile strike flipped it into the air. A FOURTH missile strike finally killed it, but did not kill the occupants, they just scattered into the street and started shooting at me. Not even my "armored" Brickade can take the damage this little SUV could. Amazing!

In all seriousness I'm glad to see some tougher NPC's creeping into the game. Also love the alleyway ambush setup in the CEO cargo pickup. That really surprised me and was a blast to complete. Kudos Rockstar.

One well placed jet canon strike, I didn't see the difference at first.

For some reason they're pretty hard to kill up close. 4 sticky bombs and an RPG didn't kill it. Ended up just shooting the guy when he ran for it. I just stick to Savage or Hydra, makes life easier. I use my Buzzard for just about everything else but it doesn't seem to have the teeth for HeadHunter.

CarimboHanky

yes they seem to be traveling in armored cognoscentis with a lot of extra armored

They're actually the easiest targets to kill out of the entire job. I usually drive up from behind and follow them until they are on a straight path (or know that they don't intend to turn). Then I shoot at them with a Micro SMG - all 4 dead before they even get the chance to shoot at me, the windows are barely armored. I don't even need an armored car or a Buzzard for this, I kill all the targets without ever leaving my roofless Coquette.

Wound up shooting one of them fleeing on foot with a grenade launcher six times before he finally had the good graces to stay on the ground.

I'm sticking to Hostile Takeover for my money-making.

Hostile Takeover = 3-4 min with Hydra = ~15k

Headhunter = 3-4 min with Hydra = ~21k

same for Sightseer

Hail Hydra

The Headhunter health values are all out of normal bounds. Did you know that the bodyguards that spawn in stationary target positions do not have a headshot multiplier? Normal enemies die in 1 headshot (unless you shoot them in the body first, which triggers an unrelated bug which still hasn't been fixed yet) but these superhuman bodyguards take 20 pistol shots to the head just like they take 20 pistol shots to the body. Obviously that doesn't matter when you just explode the target with a heli/hydra from far away, which is the fastest way to handle the mission.

I don't see that as a good thing though. It means Rockstar thinks damage sponges make the game harder. No, better AI would make things hard. This is simply retarded design.

The player versions of the armoured vehicles break in 2 (two) explosions. The original poster was clearly being ironic with how the NPC version can survive 4 explosions.

Those bodyguards also have the best aimbot I've seen so far in GTA. Shot me dead from a car while I was high up in the heli, not close at all. Damn pistol snipers.

They are weak like Wildbrick said, the problem is that they have better accuracy and they don't suffer from headshots.

Headshots damage doesn't work on them.

Hydra, or from ground level. Shoot through windows, maybe bike and that new stubby shotgun.

Legendary Motorsports, make sure to pick the armoured version.

The armored variants driven by the NPC's in the Headhunter activities are heavily buffed in comparison to the ones that we can purchase as players. The ones we get can take one rocket. The second one will send you into the clouds. The NPC versions the OP is referring to can take 3 to 4 direct hits, upon the NPC's will get out of the car and continue on foot where they'll continue to withstand more damage than any other NPC that I've ever encountered...

I think R* buffed the cars and gave the occupants superhuman sniping abilities because they KNEW we'd immediately grab Buzzards/Hydras in an attempt to take them out quickfast.

I think they have armored Ballers and Cognoscentis from Executives DLC.They are also harder to kill on foot than normal NPCs.

I usually use a Buzzard to do headhunter mission.I tried on a motorcycle once, but the lack of protection and enemy armor made it much harder, and the cops getting involved was annoying.
