FroudeyBrand Posted June 10, 2016 Share Posted June 10, 2016 So, I went to get online to try and play with a couple of friends, I started up GTA V (I have the Rockstar Warehouse Version Non-Steam). Loading took ages! Then it pops up this error message *see image. I spent ages googling and seeing fixes, What I've done to date: - I have uninstalled game, - uninstalled & deleted social club folders, - uninstalled/deleted all things related to GTA V etc - deleted Hosts file in drivers/etc - Ran as admin, - downloaded manually SC install - restored PC back to the 6th - finally today i reset PC back to default (Windows 10) - Disabled firewall / made exceptions but once reinstalled it shows this "Offline play is only available for accounts that have previously signed in on this machine (with "Remember me" ticked) while connected to the internet and while social club services are available. You have not previously signed in the this machine so offline play is not available". I try again, and nothing happened, again, removed all data, reset firewall to default and retinstalling, and yet it gets to social club luancher and doesn't progress throwing back the above statement, what's going on So, after doing these steps MANY times I can't get it to start the download or play.... getting aggravated. Nothing has worked, googled everything from steam forums (again its a non-steam version) to reddedit posts, to yahoo answers. noting I can't even start the download of the main game, it gets to social club and throws up the Offline mode not available message! I rest my PC my Windows 10 PC back to "Default" "Factory settings" basically a complely fresh install. Installed GTAV Setup Tool and I get this again! Now at some point from the last patch to now this game failed, I do not want to be that guy to whinge and complain and go on but like really the game is now broken at some point. FroudeyBrand Posted June 13, 2016 Author Share Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) Ok, again, uninstalled & reinstalled game, used program to update all PC drivers so they are again up do date, the issue is that Social Club thinks this PC isn't connected to the internet, GTA 5 & Social Club UI is all allowed to in the firewall settings, I am done, like nothing else I can do, I am 99.95% sure that the issue is the Social Club update itself, locking up, and after posting on twitter and other forums that I am not the only one.
