So I've been seeing a lot of topics about "How to do F&F missions in lobby by yourself" and the answer is simple. You need to be in a public lobby with 1 player, you. The way to do this if you're on PC is to either alt tab out of game, wait a few seconds, then alt tab back in, or mess with graphics settings, this can cause server connectivity issues and throw you into a session on your own. On consoles, you'll need to get creative with your internet router. I've also found that going back to the dashboard on XB1 works sometimes. Playing in a lobby on your own can be quite useful if you don't like playing with others or if you're sick and tired of hydra trolls constantly destroying shipments.

Another way of avoiding, or at least minimizing, risk of your shipments being blown up is if you're in a session with very few people, send out invites to everyone in the session to be an associate. The more people in the server that are on your side, not only increases the people you have protecting you, but also decreases the amount of potential attackers on the server.

The potential of the player is limited by the vehicle restrictions of the delivery. If someone really wants to f*ck your sh*tty Youga up, they will.

Yeah. I nearly threw a bowling pin at my screen going to my first pick up only to find a super slow burrito. Things were going smoothly until the "everyone knows what you have" message popped up. In a session with 30 players. Nobody had jets and I made it, but it made me fear big lobbies while starting deliveries.

The potential of the player is governed by their spatial awareness over a tightly packed Los Santos map. Spotting the offending jet homing in, tucking the excruciatingly slow Journey into an overhang to get a modicum of protection, and then raining hell with a Minigun on the hovering twit. Which is what I did LOL.

Alt tabbing makes you leave? That's weird.

I know allot about routers, computers etc and ive did my best to make my router as crappy as it can be giving it the most interfearing wifi channel and even reduced the signel strenght but somehow it still holds a session together. Even put NAT from open to medium(strict aint possible on my router) and it still held up.

So im forced to use freeaim to reduce people, ill try going to dashboard on my xbox never tried that tbh

I get that doing it in a public lobby adds risk to everything, but wow I've never had to deal with this much griefing before. And not just a guy trying over and over to blow up a shipment, but I mean multiple people, trying to blow up a shipment for 200 RP and 2,000 bucks. When they fail and it's delivered, they still hound after you. Start sending messages. Scream about you on the public mic. Follow you everywhere and anywhere you try to go.

And when you decide to say F it, not looking to keep killing someone else trying to spoil your fun? Spam message after spam message about how they ran you off and forced you to leave. Doesn't matter that you killed them and they got nothing for their troubles.

No exaggeration, I'm up to 6 people who have followed that exact playbook and at least two dozen who have done most, but not all of it. Rockstar made being anti-social almost a necessity in some cases just to enjoy being a CEO. :/

And that is exactly why public sessions in GTAO are cancer. Too much toxicity.

It can, but it depends on the settings. There is a setting called 'Pause game on focus loss' if this is on it will pause the game when you alt+tab to a different program, and when you alt+tab back into the game it un-pauses. Because of the pause it can cause disconnects with online. If it is turned off alt+tab won't do anything.

I think what you meant to say was "abuse off-radar and ghost organization like a drunken stepfather."

Public lobbies have pretty much became a "grief the griefer" lobby. Once they're gone, everyone goes back to their own thing. If there's someone who doesn't wanna do CEO stuff, they patrol the sky in a jet. If someone goes remotely near the hospital or docks, investigate to see what they spawn and destroy it(only if a jet). Go back up to max alt and repeat.

Every time you get messages like those, think of this guy, here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/857706-gta-online-petition-remove-kick-feature/. Then think about all those lil` bishes that are just like him. Isn`t your day better now?

One nice thing I've found about this Update. With everyone busy griefing, and jet bombing all the Cargo drops, it's making Piracy Prevention a breeze. Especially when my Yacht is way up by Paleto Bay.

On topic about getting a lobby to yourself. I've found that by joining a lobby at first. Plug my Ethernet cord out for a sec, then plug it back in. I get kicked back to SP, and then use the down pad button to go back into Online. I'd say 9/10 times I get my own Public Lobby with nobody joining except my friends.

The more CEO's the better. That usually means more people doing their own thing. I won't stay in a lobby with 2 CEO's and 8 standard players but I'll stay in a lobby with 8 CEO's (at least for now).

Before exiting my office I give the room a minute to see how many "so and so killed so and so" notifications pop up. If it's a constant stream of them I move on.

I closed all ports on my router, had a moderate NAT, disabled UPnP, and played 4K videos on youtube and used up all my bandwidth - still ended up in large lobbies.

the worst part solo is when you go to deliver stuff and get that plane one the valkyrie attacks. that thing shreds the plane. i landed it luckily once but it's not always that easy.

I like to do the route in my hydra first when I get a plane mission, clear the drops then do the Cuban. You gotta fly like hell afterwards but it works.

I'm not even a jet griefers but buying one was a godsend. Grieving level 8000s till they leave. Taking down ground pounders who can't dog fight. Etc. it's a wonderful tool people want you to be in when the time is right.

Shut down the griefer is I real thing now. It doesn't matter how good you are 3 hydras to one will always get rid of a griefer.

For PC, we need someone to write a program to change TCP/IP settings so you can't connect to other players, then be able to change them back.
