So a we have a Tugboat whats NEXT???

A Ferry that carries cargo containers/Vehicles

midway the buzzard gets shoved enough by waves it blows

my heart stops momentarily as I still got half way to go with a tug thats taken an explosion and could go any second

I've found a use for it. It's given me something in the game to really complain about. We should be able to sell our Pegasus vehicles just like you can with cars.

I was tugging it with a mate during a crate selling mission and while he drove it I had nothing to do, I found to my amusement that when you walk round on the deck in the stern you do a sort of Monty Python style bendy legged walk.

 

Debatable how useful it is though, depends how much you enjoy funny walks.

I have the same problem, buzzard dies very quickly on back of tug. Other helis have similar problem and eventually go. The only vehicle I have found that survives a long time/indefinitely is the turreted limo.

It is a bit of a challenge but you can actually get it under the bridge that leads from the Alamo Sea to Zancudo River and have a lot of fun driving it down the waterfall there

Bonus points if you have players walking around the boat while it goes down the fall, since it will ragdoll them.

The trick is to turn sharply just as you are about to go under the bridge. this tilts the boat to one side making the mast just barely clear the bridge. I usually aim for the left

side and turn to the right just before the mast hits.

 

I haven't been able to make it past the next bridge. There is no way to go under it so you would have to push the tug around it (over the dirt road) with an insurgent.

Haha I'll have to try that next time. I normally just end up getting it stuck in the shallow waters and end up losing a fair few insurgents/brickades due to water damage while trying to push it through

It's a wonderful way to piss off nearly $2m and try to get idiots to shoot at you while you're in passive. If we could perhaps use it for, I dono, towing other boats around and/or repossessing them (cough new mini missions cough) itd at least have some function. I do 80% of my CEO work after I lag out of a session, and when I buy crates in a non-empty lobby, it's usually with friends and only in a quiet, non-violent session.

It'd be nice if people didn't feel the need to blow up a defenceless tug boat doing a sales mission just to cost somebody money and annoy them. Unfortunately we seem stuck with players with that mean spirited and unimaginative attitude.
