Has anyone found a use for the tugboat

Just attempted some extreme tugging down the rapids and this thing is useless you cant even pick it up with a cargobob and drop it on some unfortunate f*cker but it has a nice horn and you can fit air vehicles on the rear very easy

Considering the Tug doesn't even fit under the bridges on Alamo sea...?

But the LTS on sea with muskets, marksman pistols and grenades is awesome.

 

It fits threw the first one if you stick to the left then you need to use a insurgent as it gets stuck on the rocks. When you reach the second bridge you ain't getting nowhere

I tried driving a dump to where my tug spawned in invite only. Damn dump despawned when trying to position tug in a suitable place to drive said dump onto (tug spawned at the lake). Then tried driving a dump to the city to spawn tug there but the dump wouldn't fit into the area where the tug spawns.

Great minds think alike i attempted this myself you cant cargobob the dump no more either on ps3 i did extreme dumping down chiliad 1million dollars justified lol

The tugboat is fun for the whole family (or crew). When you are alone your options are limited, but we had a blast fooling around with the cargobob and the tugboat during one of our crew events. (We almost died laughing when it capsized due to an outhouse. )

Don't you have to own it to upgrade it, and if it's upgraded you can use those upgrades on deliveries? That's my understanding of how this all works.

The one that comes with the sea deliveries has the upgrades.

I believe it only has upgrades for deliveries if you bought them.

 

My friend noticed my tugboat was faster than his during his delivery mission, which had no upgrades.

Driving around today irl (me,myself and harbujahn) and ive thought of a great use for the tug. When someone is doing piracy prevention play this down the headset while circling them in passive mode (as loud as possible)

 

 

 

Plus as you do this you will appreciate everything that was deemed useless not so useless #TugTherapy be happy with everything and buy a tug!

Yeah I don't think it's available for races just like the Marqius sailboat. I really wanted to make a proper regatta with that.

I bought a damn tug boat. Waste of my shark card money. Now I just use it when I'm drunk and singing Celine Dion's song "All By Myself" when I'm in an invite only session and wonder why none of my friends can join me.

I originally wanted to buy the tug but ugh...... seems like a waste considering how slow it is.

 

Maybe if the upgrades crossed to Pegasus vehicles I'd buy it. It's slower than the f*cking submarine! I asked my friend to sit tight when it was just the two of us in a session doing the delivery and came back with the regular sub. The sub beat the tug...... and I hate how slow that sub is in SP. Dam.....

 

Maybe when it goes on sale I'll get it. We know it'll be on sale in a few months like everything else is

I wanted to see how it performed as a battleship solo... It works. Required a very slow driveby on the Merryweather docks to gain a constant wanted level. Took around 20 minutes of gunfire from Mavericks and Predators before it started smoking; I died from there so I'm not sure how long it could have gone for. I'm sure with a team, you wouldn't have to deal with much police gunfire.

 

You can't enter the turreted limo normally it seems, only through the turret itself. A few more limos or technicals would make for quite the warship though, especially if you can get an upgraded one post sell mission. Maybe use single crate buys and sells to get one? If I get a few friends together I think we'll get some armed Pegasus vehicles on it, and then maybe a pair of supercars for an insurance policy, and go pirating yachts and Vespucci beach.

Its best use is when in a crowded lobby with a couple friends, cargobob a few super cars onto it and drive around the coasts until some dumass blows it up and has to pay the insurance
