I'm currently working on a round the map tugboat race , it won't be pretty but it will be relaxing for all you overly stressed recidivists out there. So, if you have a spare hour or seven to spare come join us for a tug around .

Slipstream will be turned on? I want to get 3 hours of Slipstream.

Oh, I got one - I always phone a Toro when starting Crystal Clear Out, because you can use it to get to Trevor's from the pier. So I guess it's my new boat for that, especially if I'm not liking my teammates.

You can land vehicles and transport them across the water, pretty damn cool if you ask me.

 

You can have a technical in the back and ta-da, you have a shooting tug boat.

The Most Wanted VIP Challenge can be done on a Tug. Make sure to shoot the drivers of the Police Predators behind you, and shoot the tail rotors on the Police Mavericks. The large smoke stack behind the cab provides decent protection from the Police Predators, and since the Tug is so tall, shooting the tail rotors of the Police Mavericks is easy.

No but I found a static tugboat in a covered pier but it's locked or the door is sealed shut. I wondered if it was there all along or if it was just added, it looks like a replica of the new ones. I probably should have noted the location but it's not hard to find if you fly along the coast looking in piers with roofs near the city.

It was always there. Visit the place quite a lot considering one of the VIP packages spawns there when doing Sightseer.

Yeah, sadly the tank doesnt works, it is too heavy and it maked the tugboat sink under water

don't own a tank and I don't think it would be very useful but a Buzzard fits really nicely on the stern. If the tail rotor is off the boat you can even walk around safely, if the waves are big just slow down if someone gets in the pilot seat, more for their safety than your own... I watched a guy get in and bump around then drown because swimming with a keyboard is apparently very hard

Actually yes I have found a use for the Tug, not super useful but hear me out.

 

The crate pickup mission that's out in the sea, yeah I know you can do it with a Buzzard but at the risk of blowing up your crates.

 

With the Tug you can go to the sailboat (slowly, very slowly no hurry) and you can stand on deck and destroy the sailboat and helicopter.

Also you are somewhat protected from the pesky enemies on the small boats, you can either ram them (which is pretty funny) or just ap pistol them.

 

Then jump into the water, get the crate and take one of the bad guys boats, or call merryweather boat pickup.

You don't wanna go back in the Tug, it's just too friggen slow. lol
