The one that comes with the sea deliveries has the upgrades.

Well it comes "included" with warehouses and that version you can upgrade.

 

The purchasable version is just for fanatics as far as I know.

Interesting. So you can buy the boat upgrades (and Titan, and Brickade) even without owning any of those vehicles? Good, I didn't want to buy any of them anyway.

Apart from sailing around very slowly I can't see much use for it save for draining your bank balance 1 million or so.

 

Would I buy it? Absolutely. It is on my shopping list. I have no real need for another boat. I have my seasharks, dinghy, Speeder, Toro, Marquis, my yacht and my Kraken. But i just fancy owning one.

Ive bought one before I knew the spawnlocations are weird, it blows up with 1 rpg and you die along with it and it's super slow. Even though that all sucks im mainly dissapointed it's to slow, takes forever to get to a location and possibly do funny things with it.

I bought it almost immediately. It's like Marvin the Paranoid Android - hilarious in a boringly lugubrious sort of way. And if you beach the thing it's absolutely huge.

If you dock it at your yacht and someone else tries to sail it away does it go mental like the dodo? Could be a launch glitch

 

NZB the dodo doesn't get the "dock your vessel" prompt but it works.

Was disappointed I couldn't sail it into the Alamo Sea, and people said you can't lift Tugs with the Cargobob

So I just sailed it around the map and then blew it up at my yacht
