What happens if you retire as CEO?

I have a few questions about the update.

1. How do you retire as CEO, and does it cost anything? How easy/fast is it?

2. I have read, that you can't go passive at any time when you are a CEO, so do you have to retire, or..?

3. If you have bought the gun locker and chosen which guns you want in your weapon wheel, does the weapon wheel stay the same if you retire as CEO, or does it go back to normal?

Thanks.

  • Solution
  1. You can retire by either leaving online (it's automatic) or doing it from the SecuroServ sub-menu inside the interaction menu (it's at the very bottom)***
  2. This is true, no passive while VIP/CEO and to go passive you must retire.
  3. Stays the same. You still have access to your office when you're not a CEO, you just don't have access to the buy/sell missions, warehouses, or SecuroServ menu.

***I heavily suggest retiring before you leave however, at least until they fix the 400+ hour work cooldown, not that you can't fix it but better to prevent.

yes and you can still use all those features they offer, they're office features not CEO features. There's also no time limit or cool down on becoming a CEO, as often as you want, for as long as you want.

Edit: it's like owning a Yacht and doing Piracy Prevention. Need the yacht to do the job but you can still use your yacht outside being a VIP.
