Difference between shipment sizes?

1 crate is 2k

2 crates is 8k

3 crates is 18k

So is there a reason anyone would pick the 3 crates over the 1 crate? Because 1 crate is much cheaper, it will just take a longer time to fill up the warehouse

The reason is that it takes a lot less time to pick up three crates in one run - always if you have associates, but sometimes even playing solo, the three will be in a single vehicle. You can load your warehouse up literally twice as fast or better. The runs take less time and you will spend far less time shuttling back and forth to your office to initiate more pickups.

I do think the pricing is a little funny though.

You said it yourself. That's the difference. Time is money.

I usually go for the one crate. Yes, the 3 crates will fill up faster, but only if it all spawns in one vehicle. I much prefer the consistency of doing one crate at a time, which for me is around 3 mins. I know this because i did 10 runs with an average time of about 3m38s.

Like Nutduster stated above ^^

If you pick up three crates and there are three of you in the party, only one trip is ever required. That offsets the rather silly pricing system.

Buying crates one by one is great way to maximize your profit. But seriously who wants to make a deal 111 times? When you can do it three times faster.

I understand that, but the prices are very odd, 1 crate is 2k while 3 is 18k? Literally triple the price per crate, just to do it a bit faster?

Im sure there must be somethibg more to this

It takes a significantly longer time. All your profit comes from sales. The longer you spend collecting goods, the less your profit/time from the sale will be. You will be getting more money per crate, but less money per time. Considering crates are not real and there is an infinite supply of crates, it's time that matters.

If you have any associates, it's really a no-brainer. You take the 3-crate option, always. If you are solo, it might be tedious to get split pickups. I have been doing 3-crate pickups for days now and it seems at least half of the deliveries are single vehicle. So your pickup times are not really tripled, but doubled on average.

Example:

Full L warehouse of 111 crates, collected 1 by 1:

111 x 2k = 222k crate payments

2.22 mil sale

2 mil profit

Average 5 minutes per delivery and 10 minutes for the sale: 5 x 111 + 10 = 565 minutes

Profit/time = 3.54k per minute

Full L warehouse of 111 crates collected in 3s:

37 x 18 = 666k crate payments

2.22 mil sale

1.55 mil profit

Average 10 minutes per delivery and 10 minutes for the sale 10 x 37 + 10 = 380 minutes
Profit/time = 4.08k per minute

If it still costed 2k per crate for 3-crate pickups, the difference would be even bigger. I'm sure the prices were carefully picked to ensure 3-crate pickups would be the best option but not by a huge margin.

BUY 2 CRATES, most of the times the 2 crates are loaded in ONE TRUCK, so it's only one travel
