Best Warehouse Location?

Generally, where would it be best to have your warehouse situated in regards to picking up crates for shorter trips to warehouse? Basically I'm just trying to get a feel of if its best to be located in the northern, southern, eastern or western part of Los Santos. A large warehouse, I think the name was 'Darnell Bros Warehouse' right beside supply street garage, at $3.5million. Seems like the ideal spot. Maybe the highest price warehouses have the best crate spawns, who knows'

^ What he said. The medium warehouse for $900k or so very close to the $1m office is preferable to the Arcadius building and a warehouse in East LS on my other character.

 

Offices near the beach also not as tall as the Arcadius and Maze Bank towers, so much easier to fly over and go straight inside from your chopper.

For me, I like the ones with easy helicopter landing area. All my warehouses are on the east side, starting with the rail yard being the farthest north, down to Darnell Bros in la Mesa, the small one right near that in Lamesa, next to ammunation, then the one by the frigiit warehouses, on down to the large one at the south end of cypress flats. This gives me all my warehouses in the same general area in case one gets robbed so it shouldn't take me long to there, plus all of them have very easy helicopter landing space right next to the warehouse.

Sorry, the large one in Vinewood has terrible helicopter access. Since most people predominately use helicopter for faster transport to the warehouses, I have no idea why anybody would think that's a good choice.

I took the the most south eastern large warehouse there is. Feels like too much driving and flying so far.

Gotta disagree with this too. Why spread them out all over the city? Then if one gets robbed while you're all the across the city at another one, you're losing serious product by the time you get there. All the warehouses in the east side are easy to get to from anywhere, and have wide open space for helicopters.

I dislike my LSIA warehouse. I have the buyer's remorse.

I have warehouses at Cypress Flats and LSIA. I love both locations because it's easy to deliver crates for those warehouses. I'm hoping tho that R* will add new warehouses outside of the city.

Lol, yeah we were both excited about that one when we saw the trailer. I already traded it in. I do believe the trade value is about 50%. Thing is, you can't trade down, only up or even. So if you have a large, you can only trade for large.

I originally thought we could bring our pickups to any available warehouse, so I bought two warehouses on the two ends of the city. I immediately regretted that after learning the target warehouse is strictly determined when you buy the goods.

As for offices, was deadset on the beach view, until I noticed the cheapest office was right next door. Amazing, I see alot more players on the map around that area than I do at Maze Bank Tower.

Anything next door to Arcadius or Maze tower, central office and warehouses make a huge difference, don't own anything on a hill (cause slow ass vans).

i don't mind a little drive from the office to the warehouse but i do care about it's location. i chose the one right next to benny's for it's ease of access. got the highway right behind it, the airport is a strait shot down the road, and i can get to north LS or south LS very quickly.

Once I've bought an office, will I have an opportunity to view the different warehouses before I commit to one? You know, like how the Dynasty 8 website allows you to place markers on the map so you can actually go and view the properties in person?

really far away and inconvenient as hell but

far enough away from all the action

relatively close to multiple docks/helipads/pegasus vehicle spawning location

next to train tracks, which I can use to hop on train or follow to get to warehouse (train tracks near train tunnel for cover)

bug out ramp to hop the river

taking the LS river can basically take me there relatively safely

bunch of dock workers who don't take no jive

accessible from water, air and land

decent cover from buildings

plenty of space to land aircraft safely and away from homing launchers proximities thanks to buildings and distance

 

basically I love having the river on one side and the tracks on the other, and the other ls river just a little farther from the train tracks

As mentioned above, I have the Arcadia as my office and the warehouse by Benny's. It is a few blocks south of my office, so it makes it faster getting back to run another pickup mission. I'm sure there are other similar office and warehouse locations, but I didn't look at any other offices.

My main is LSIA cause some people tend to get stuck on the bridge without waypoints showing them how to get down. xD

 

Being close to office isn't really necessary when you add in the fact that you CAN'T order another crate batch for a few mins. I live in Maze Bank Tower and even if I DRIVE there I have 1 and a half minutes until the cooldown ends.

 

Darnell Bros is also a good one, I bought that but when product spawns on the far left top of the map it's tricky getting product through the center of town...... and even then the warehouse is pretty close to the action.

 

LSIA one is easy to get to, just get onto the nearest highway and you're there.

I did the same and it's kind of bullsh*t that we can't. There's really no reason to own more then one since we can't do that. I saw some people on here say buy 2 for the cooldown period but it's usually at like 10 seconds when I get back to the Office after a delivery anyway. Railroad medium warehouse is all I'll be using from here on out.

1 mil office + medium "lingerie warehouse" = perfect. Its a pain in the ass to go from warehouse to office every mission. But they're only 2 blocks from each other

Well i got the medium warehouse in El Burro Heights. It costs 880.000 has good highway access good landingspace for a helicopter and its far away from the kuruma dickheads in the city.

my office is in maze tower, my warehouse is next to lester's.

 

i choose this location because is close to my office, just a 15-20second drive, street is wide enough so landing a heli is easy in the area, etc etc

IMO what really matters isn't the distance between your HQ and your warehouse, but the distance between your warehouse and the location you're buying/selling from, especially if you play in public lobbies against other players.
