Gta online petition: Remove kick feature

Being a public session player for years I and many others recently come under fire. In the recent update regarding CEO requirements, players are using cheap tricks to get what they want. Normally you can avoid past behavior which players ruin others fun. This time its gone too far and result in hindering the rights of players. Currently the only solution to the problem is removal of this feature since there is no direct way of countering it and it is not suppose to be used like this.

If you wanna grief I guess the best solution is lobby hop until you find one with an active and steady kill feed. Personally I think you are serious numpty to waste thousands of dollars on ammo killing folks who most the time don't want to fight.

It would be easier to allow the crate stuff in private sessions. That way everyone would be happy - people wanting the so-called "challenge" in public session and people wanting to do this in peace in private sessions.

 

Kicking is a legitimate feature, I don't think it's going to go anywhere even if some people misuse it.

Killing people is part of the game, that did not even happen and have various videos of me in clothing store getting kicked. I can provid mutliple videos of me minding my own businesses and getting kicked. Already started to recorded and send these videos in a ticket.

 

Kicking someone is not a legit reason because you want easy money, it is mis used simple.

My feeling exactly. If they remove or nerf vote-to-kick, they need to remove or HEAVILY nerf jets in the same damn update. Otherwise, it's fine the way it is. People do what they have to do to enjoy the new content without raging a-holes in god weapons raining on their parade. Like many GTA strategies, it's a workaround, and you better live with it unless you're in favor of them actually digging in and fixing all the stuff that is wrong with this game (not bugs, but balance issues).

They're kicking you preemptively because the writing in on the wall. Since Rockstar foolishly insists that the new content can only be played in public lobbies, since the payouts are godawful *not even taking the risk of players destroying the crates into account*, and since there are jets... they're doing what they have to do to survive. Rockstar is forcing people to turn quiet public lobbies into their own invite only sessions, by force.

 

Again: if they "fix" vote to kick, they better fix jets. And while they're at it, they also should fix letting you play this stuff in invite-only or crew lobbies, because the public lobby requirement is deeply ridiculous considering the payouts are only mediocre even with zero risk and a completely optimal grind.

Tried to sell in a public lobby once, a relatively friendly public lobby up to that point, just to end up getting dive bombed by an overeager joker in a shamal when driving my snail's pace tug out to sea. Losing 250k and maybe an hour or two worth of busy work in the process. No way in hell I'm going to risk that with bigger spoils, save for the option to do the whole CEO business in invite only sessions, you're essentially forced to create your own "private public lobby" and yes if you come in there you're going to end up kicked, unless I know you. Not only because I don't know you and you might plan on ruining my day, but also because if more than 2 or 3 join others follow quickly after practically ending your once private public lobby.

How is it possible not to make it CEO? It is what caused it. I also got kicked out of public lobby for the FIRST TIME yesterday in almost 2 years of playing online. And it had everything to do with the new update, I wasn't hostile at all.

CEO issues created the vote-kicking issue. If you don't want to talk about the OBVIOUS cause of the problem, there's nothing here to discuss. Most are not in favor of changing vote-to-kick at all anyway, but I guarantee no one will want to change it until the CEO requirements change.

^ Coupled with a lack of effort to ensure the integrity of the game. High level players are the first to get the boot when they should be the first to get the org invite/truce request.

so? exploring the city, doing stunts with friends and having harmless fun in general is too. just because you focus on killing everything that moves to fill your ego doesnt mean everyone wants that.

the most of the fun i had in GTA Online was with my ex gf where we explored the city together and did NPC stuff, like bikeriding on the mountains and just absorb the environment. not a single gunshot was needed for fun. thats why there are Deathmatch gamemodes

Weird, previously when griefers would start their threads their answer was always, "adapt or die." Seems like the average GTAO player figured out the easier way to beat griefers was to just vote kick and end the whole thing without shots fired.

Funny, I haven't had this problem yet. Why can you not play well with others?

 

You come into the playground and see 6 or 8 kids playing nice with each other in the sandbox; building castles and riding their toy trucks around. You then proceed to kick over everyone's castle, break their trucks, then cry when they kick you out of their sandbox.

 

Seems to me that the 'vote to kick' feature is tailor made so that adults can keep trolls like you away from their fun.

 

The ONLY reason this would upset you is that you're not a very good player and are looking only for the "challenge" of fighting those who are not looking for a fight.

You have yet to even explain how this hurts you one bit if you are truly an amazing player and want the "challenge" of good PvP competition. If that were true wouldn't you want to not be in a session where people won't/can't/couldn't be bothered to put up a fair fight?

 

Why aren't you doing your own CEO stuff right now instead of trying to butt in where you're clearly not wanted?

Yep. This same thing happened to me last night. It was 3 of them and one of me. Those noobs voted to kick me. The thing is, they weren't even trying to deliver any cargo, they just kicked me because I'm good. I went into another session and I was voted again the minute I killed someone. This update made everyone go on a kicking frenzy!
