Yes these are the type of updates Ive wanted since day 1 imo. More seamless free roam activity as opposed to loading crap and being isolated

This update has me flustered. I sit in LSC painting my ride, I get kicked. I sit in the desert in passive while I walk away from the sticks, I get kicked. I ask if a CEO wants help, they kick me too. Happens in free aim and auto aim. It's impossible for me to not get a boot by my name in between contact missions. Will I be wearing a dunce hat soon from all these kicks that take me out of the lobby?

 

Honestly, I'm disappointed with what this update has done to the game. I feel a lot of the "invite only" people want to participate with the new content but still want to make these public lobbies their own "private" lobby so throw boots out by any means. Hopefully some necessary reworking gets done.

Sounds like bad luck! I've been booted only once by guys who came into the lobby I was in and ganged up on me just because I was THERE.

 

I've been lag switching myself into an empty public lobbies. Players that join, I msg them "friendly?" and if they say yes, all is cool. If crap starts up, I lag myself out again and keep going. The beauty of the lag switch is that there is no interruption in my gaming. It's beautiful.

 

If you are on PS4, you're welcome to my split lobbies. Uber chill and easy going.

Yep this update has changed GTAO for the better, lobbies seem much more co-operative, and still plenty of PvP opportunities. Those who really understand the new gameplay are fellow CEOs, I even teamed up with other random CEOs when we have a griefer in the lobby going after the crates.

The main issues now come from the lowest rank players. When I'm running 3 crate missions solo, I often find these low ranks at the final crate wondering what to do with it.

 

Traditionally I never played in open lobbies, I spent my first year almost exclusively playing missions and heists. Now I grind pac standard a bit and spend most of my time in open lobbies. CEO + VIP have completely changed the way I play this game.

I don't destroy other people's cargo. However, I'm still happy to snipe anyone - CEO or otherwise - from the rooftops and that is not going to change. I still see a fair amount of combat going on.

I think rockstar can learn from the New Need For Speed game. Have friendly or competitive lobbies. Then everyone is happy.

 

but then its boring in the friendly lobby and mayhem in the competitive one, but it should be a good mix of everything in every lobby....
