Has anyone successfully competed a Titan delivery mission?

I'm looking for some tips and tricks. What should I be expecting?

I helped a friend complete a Titan Delivery mission. There were 10 delivery spots and three of the spots were guarded. I scouted ahead in a Hydra and killed 2 Buzzards and a Savage.

One Strategy a few people have mentioned if you're trying to solo it is flying really high above the drop zones because the enemy helicopters spawn low to the ground. They'll start following you then you can land somewhere and homing rocket them to death or something. You could also fly around to all the spots yourself after starting the mission with a Hydra and clear them that way (you'd have to mark the map somehow I guess).

I still haven't had the hearse one, despite having two offices, and two warehouses on opposite sides of the city (if that actually makes a difference).

Edit: Lol, just got it. Spawned a storable hearse, took it to Hillcrest, Merryweathered from my own roof, picked up the Paradise from near the Vespucci tunnel, and had a nice smooth freeway run all the way to my warehouse with a couple of minutes to spare.

p.s. I suspect the mission hearse is storable with the blue corona trick, but I didn't have time to test it.

You snipe 1-3 Epsilon members in the cemetary, and then deliver a Paradise van.

Probably, but you can also drive it around and back to the cemetary or church and spawn another one (not mission-spawned) and store that for 100% chance of success with no corona tricks.

for those of you having trouble with other players, maybe this will help...

I suggest a lower number: 578

I've had players get into my "800" lobby and I still got player-invites to things after an hour or two.

With 578 it's never been contaminated with other players or their invites. However, you are totally solo as friends/crew can't join you at all. I have more than 12 hours combined in "578" lobbies and haven't seen anyone yet.

on buying runs, don't ever waste money on bribing the cops, just get shot and killed by them, -$500 when you respawn they will be gone.

(or make it close to your warehouse to trigger only a 1 star wanted level and then actually lose the cops)

Bribing the cops ($200-$400) is OK, but preventative bribes like Blind Eye or the CEO-version aren't worth doing because as soon as you get inside the vehicle they will attack. This is for stealing from "police compunds" or from the cop Transporter Van.

For the police-ambush buying runs with unmarked police cars parked nearby, getting killed is good because you're often trapped where you can't escape quickly. As soon as you're dead they don't care anymore and you can drive the crates in peace.

In the sniper missions, you can go straight to the location and kill the targets without needing to trigger the vantage point coronas. Saves a little time.

It still freaks me out a little when I get the rare "all the crates are in a truck and NPCs will not bother you during the delivery" buying runs.

Not even aimbots that were trained at the LSPD F***Physics Driving Academy will try to chase you or even appear on radar.

I've had 4 or 5 of those in 198 purchases.

Yeah it's quite unsettling. What's worst is doing a special crate and having a jet fly near you, who seems to be unsure of whether to attack you so do one strafe run and fly away. I'd rather them attack or go away instead of being weird about it...

I have to say the most annoying crate buying mission is the one where this an ''ambush'' in the alley way. I usually fly in my Buzzard and just shoot everything before the game tells me to but sometimes these dudes do insane amounts of damage and I die within seconds...

I like ambushing them first with a Buzzard or grenade launcher (the cargo vehicle is strong, but I haven't tested it to see if it's indestructible).

You can do it with the cop-ambushes as well and fly away to ditch the wanted level. You get it again when you touch the vehicle, but you can have Lester drop it for $200 or $400 before any cops can get close enough to shoot you.

Some of those gang ambushes will have NPCs shooting you through walls with 1000% accuracy.

Doing some experimenting on my own, there's actually a surprising number of buying missions where you can safely spam explosives without destroying the crates, including:

You can use rockets or explosive cannons to kill the parachuting enemies without destroying the crates they carry.

You can safely blow up the entire Marquis yacht when the crates/enemies spawn on one.

You can safely explode enemies fleeing on foot who are carrying crates.

I've also blown up vehicles right next to friends who were delivering the crate vehicle without destroying the vehicle or crates.

Haven't tried testing the durability of the land vehicles that spawn with crates inside them, but I've yet to accidentally blow one up before or after starting the delivery with it.

In the sniper missions, you can go straight to the location and kill the targets without needing to trigger the vantage point coronas. Saves a little time.

Even without triggering the vantage point coronas, potential targets will still show up when using helicopter/jet lock-on rockets, so if you know where to look you can simply spam rockets until everyone in sight is dead. Also worth noting that once you start shooting the targets will be marked on the radar, making it even easier.

I just did a special item mission where the minigun had been stolen by a Valkyrie. Upon shooting it down, three people parachuted out, and there was a message telling me only one of them had the item; I've not seen multiple parachutes for a single item before.

Valkyrie-one is my favorite-i try to chop every bad guy with my buzzard. Fun as hell!

I have called Lester more than ever before, combined. In plane crashes and ambushes, just hold your phone, with bribe the cops option selected. As soon as you take the package/car, you get a wanted level - and lester makes it go away when you hit the button.

I'm very impressed with how many different ways there are to buy stuff and how many different ways it goes right or wrong, so I'm compiling a list of what I've done so far.

Buying runs

Seperate crates

These are the runs that have you collect crates separately depending on how many you bought (one held per player at a time)

(Can be done solo by going back and forth from warehouse to crates)

1. Going out to a (lovely looking) marquis and having to blow it up to salvage separate crates.

2. Finding a crashed plane with the cops checking it out to salvage items from.

3. Going to a drop zone and signalling the seller that you're ready with droppable flares.

4. Investigating some attacked vehicles and having to follow a blood trail to find the packages.

5. Having to search location for crates (No blood trails)

6. Having to shoot down three Froggers and collecting the crates that drop from them. (crates drop immediately)

7. Having to shoot down one Valkyrie and kill the people that parachute from them (crates drop from each person parachuting)

Vehicle crates

These runs have all cargo (no matter how many bought) all in one vehicle. (Usually trucks, rvs, or vans)

1. Being blackmailed by your seller and having to assassinate some people before they give you the location to the vehicle. The amount of crates effects the amount of targets.

Some targets:

  • Nurses
  • Body Builders
  • Actors (Monkeys, Zombies, Astronauts)
  • Epsilon people
  • Hobos

2. The cargo being stolen meaning you have to use trackify to identify which vehicle has the cargo. (amount of possible vehicles determined by how many crates bought)

3. Similar to 2 however the vehicles show on the map rather than trackify

4. Simply picking up a vehicle and taking it to the warehouse (little or no resistance)

5. The seller gets spooked and you have to change course to pick up the vehicle at another location. (little or no resistance)

6. The cops find your cargo and take it back to a police station (similar to ambush but much less resistance on site)

7. Having some gang members hijack the delivery truck holding the items (And transferring to a police van if it's the LSPD) you're buying so that you have to get it off of them.

Confirmed possible gangs:

  • The Lost MC
  • Vagos
  • LSPD
  • Triads

8. Grabbing a vehicle and being ambushed by cops or gang members that may try to block you in.

Confirmed possible gangs:

  • The Lost MC
  • Vagos
  • LSPD
  • Triads

9. Interrupting a buy between two gangs that turn on each other, killing remaining gang members and taking vehicle

This should be all of them.

What have you guys done that I might have forgotten or not done yet?

Selling runs

1. Flying about 1-2 planes (Titan or Cuban 800) around the map to drop crates from, whilst your team protects you from enemy aircraft and other players, also the planes have an upgrade that you're passenger can use to avoid homing missiles.

2. Flying 1-3 planes (Titan or Cuban 800) No opposition, no staying under altitude.

3. Flying about 1-3 planes (Titan or Cuban 800) to a specific location with ambush at location,

4. Flying about 1-3 planes (Titan or Cuban 800) and making air drops whilst staying under certain altitude.

5. Driving about 1-3 brickades to a destination. (Possible ambush at location)

6. Driving about 1-3 brickades to a destination only visible on trackify.

7. Driving 1-3 brickade to multiple destinations to drop off crates.

8. Driving 1-3 brickades with no resistance (I think) $9000 delivery bonus that goes down with any damage to the trucks.

9. Driving a tug to the ocean to make the sale, but being ambushed at the docks whilst picking up the tug.

10. Driving a tug out to the ocean to make the sale, with enemy sea-sharks attacking.

Note: Completing a selling run that you started in a lobby with 25 players or above can net you a bonus that often makes up for the amount you spend buying crates. (Around 500k for large warehouses, 200k for medium)

Anything you've done I missed?

Testing for correlation in companies buying stock and the method of sale

So far there seems to be no correlation, so I'm pretty sure it's random.

Running some research here to see if the companies buying your stuff affect the method of sale:

Two special crates warehouse selling to Old Media Enterprises - 1 Brickade trackify

Full Medium warehouse selling to Ameropean Partners - 3 Brickades

Full Small Warehouse to Chiliad International - 1 Tug

Full small warehouse to FoxHen Enterprises Ltd - 2 brickades them kill 18 enemies

Special crate (Large Diamond) to Amir Group Investments - 1 brickade kill 4 enemies

Special crate (Large Diamond to Amir Group Investments - 1 brickade trackify

Full small warehouse to Grandgor Communications - 2 Cuban 800s, 4 normal drop offs and 1 restricted area drop off per plane.

Full medium warehouse to Grandgor Communications - 3 Brickades 15 drop off locations.

Full small warehouse to Che Dan Group Limited - 2 Brickades, find delivery location with Trackify.

Full large warehouse to Depredationist Equities - 1 tug with enemies on seasharks

Full medium warehouse to Depredationist Equities - 3 Brickades kill 18 enemies

full small warehouse to Conch Communications - 2 Brickades, deliver to different drop off points

Feel free to contribute.

How much profit did you make doing all the CEO missions solo?

How much game time approx to do all of them (not real days but hours of game time)?

Also were you in an Invite Only lobby or did you luck out and find a deserted public lobby?

You what? You can get an office and small warehouse for a little over $1.25million. Even if you went for a large warehouse straight away it would still be under $3million.

Wondering if it's worth the headache to drop $4+ mil GTA$ on investing in the warehouse alone

I can't keep track of my expenses, but I've made 13 mil total, I payed 3 mil for my office but you can buy one for 1 mil

Cheapest office: 1,000,000

Cheapest Large Warehouse: 1,900,000 (Buy a large because selling more crates at once is more money)

Buy stock: I don't know how much I spent filling the warehouse up over and over but I know that each time I do I make 2,700,000

(Including bonus for selling with a lobby of 25 players) (It's not as hard/scary as it seems, the sell missions are easier than the buy missions 60% of the time.)

so if you take away the 666,000 spent on crates, that would equal 2,1mil profit each time.

So I'd estimate that I have spent around 4-5 mil on crates.

so that's about 4 mil profit so far.

I would calculate it properly, but my internet is out so I can't get online to look at the amount of buys/sales.

I did it mostly in public sessions but if the game split me to my own session, I was fine with that.

It can take up to 8 hours(?) to fill a large warehouse, But I mostly just do a few a day and do some whilst waiting for friends to finish a match or something.

Gleeman Vox

Any time a i see the large trucks that block the exits or the undercover cops, i blow them all up with my Savage before anything happens

When I get "Go to the vantage point," I blow up the entire assassination area (again with a Savage)

Check your cargos surroundings instead of blindly taking it.

Was just shocked to have a racecourse mission that didn't involve helicopters stealing the crates; all I had to do was take an armoured truck from the car park to my warehouse, with no enemy interference!

I collected a Paradise from the point just next to the Burton LSC, then had to drive it 2 blocks north to my Vinewood warehouse with no resistance. I doubt that can be beaten for $42K in about 45 seconds from office to warehouse.

Anyone got a repeat-CEO-job glitch yet? :D

Yep, got to the delivery point of a drop off, got out of the van and was then told to 'prepare to defend against enemies'. Turned into a 'wave attack' more or less, nearly died and used my full quota of body armour just to survive.

I've never had a plane delivery from my medium warehouse at Discount Retail Unit (Downtown Vinewood), only three Brickades, or a tug for specials; it is the furthest north of all the warehouses, so its distance from LSIA may be a contributing factor, although it's just as far from the docks. Anyone else got any theories?

Not too sure if those are the reasons behind not getting planes, but as far as I can remember I've only had Brickades from the large warehouse in El Burro heights too, I think maybe brickades are just more common.

I think my friend has the same warehouse as you, I'm pretty sure he's had a plane mission from it before, I'll have to ask him.

I have the same one. I get LSIA ones about 75% of the time

Surprisingly, my first large warehouse (Darnell Bros) 111 crate sale only involved a short Tug journey with no pursuers
