Proof that the large warehouse is the best to buy!

Did a little math and found the profit multiplier for cost vs sell price.

Both of these are using the 3 crates for 18k method

For the medium warehouse, it costs $252,000 to purchase full cargo and is sold for $735,000. That equals a multiplier of 2.9.

For the large warehouse, cost $666,000 for full cargo and sells for $2,200,000. That multiplier is 3.3.

Now for the sake of time, let's say playing solo in an empty lobby, it takes you avg 10-15 minutes to get each 3 crate collection. For the medium warehouse, that would take roughly 3 hours to fill your warehouse.

For the large warehouse, it would take roughly 7-8 hours to fill the warehouse. That's just about twice the time.

But the net profit of the medium warehouse selling is about $485k and the net profit of selling all of the large warehouse is about $1.5 mil.

That's THREE times the amount of net Profit for TWICE the amount of time.

I guess that's proof that the large warehouse is way more worth it than the medium. I expect some of you to disagree for some reason though

Is there a way to trade a medium warehouse for a large, or do i need to buy two? I don't see an option when i try to buy.

You can buy up to 5, not sure if there is an option to trade in.

same as buying appartments

just buy a large one and replace it with the smaller one you want to trade in

a large warehouse can store more cargo without being attacked

only full warehouses attacked?

so what if i fill the mid only to the half and sell it then, still better to get large on and sell there even if it Takes longer?

If you got 2,3,4 or 5 warehouses full does that increase the price also? Cause I dont see any point in buying more then 2 right now only to avoid the timer to buy? Surely there must be a reason

You're right that large is better than medium but your results are exaggerated, mainly because you think 7-8 is twice of 3. Why not just say 2.5?

Lets just assume each 3-crate retrieval takes 10 minutes and the sale takes another 10. Lets also assume none of the retrievals or sales fail.

Large warehouse:
1.554m for 111 crates
from a total of 37 retrievals and 1 sale that took 380 minutes
that's a profit of 4.09k per minute played

Medium warehouse:

483k for 42 crates

from a total of 14 retrievals and 1 sale that took 150 minutes

that's a profit of 2.92k per minute played

The difference in profit being 409/292= 1.4 meaning 40%. That's huge and definitely worth it in the long run.

I think he's talking about profit and not revenue.

Has anyone done the math on the single packages? Obviously it takes longer to fill up as you need 3 times the buying "missions" but they cost a lot less ("only" 222k for 111 packages, so nearly 2m profit if I'm not mistaken?)

If that is the case, having a large warehouse requires the team to have a Military level armed escort: (Jets, Tanks, Insurgent Pickups).

Once you have a large warehouse filled, you can sell the minimum amount (22 crates for 341k) and refill it back to full within 1.5-2 hours. Add in the random high-value items every so often and you'll be making some decent money. Sure you only get 15,500 per crate this way but it's more than if you had an empty warehouse, and faster than refilling half of a large warehouse or emptying it completely.

Wow he sure was yup Im a jackass I need coffee and cocaine.

I believe if you do single packages its less profit.

Buy 3 single packages buy price?- sells for 18k

Buy 3 package bundle buy 18k- sells for 36k and is faster to fill warehouse with

Dont quote me tho like I said I still need my coke n coffee

I like working solo and having low risk, so the small warehouse is the one for me. I understand it's not the most profitable though, but it's fun because even if I lose a sell I'm not too upset.

I have a lot of respect for those that deal with the larger warehouses. Can be considerable risk there.

I'm pretty sure there's a bell curve to sell prices that makes selling at around 60-70% capacity the most effective strategy, but I'm still collecting the data.

Single packages carry more profit. I sold my full medium warehouse for around $744k. There were a few singles and a double and the rest triple package missions.

Can I trade downwards from a Medium warehouse to a small one? I dont see myself needing a large warehouse as I'll be doing a lot of solo for now.

Bear in mind you need to own small, medium and large warehouses to unlock certain CEO spawn vehicle abilities; XLS, Rumpo, Brickade.

Then again most CEOs don't seem to even own a Buzzard so yeah.

Risk? Are you referring to the fact that you can store more money there which means you could lose more?

Or are you saying the buy missions and sell missions are harder?

Yes, certain vehicles only unlock by owning certain size warehouses, so GTA completists need all three.

Saying that, I own FIVE. When you send an invite to an associate to work for you, they get a summary: Yacht owned: YES, Warehouses owned: FIVE, etc...

It all adds to CEO status.

Number of crates:Value of crates isn't linear so I'm doing a few full warehouse runs and graphing them. If you can eg sell 30 crates at 21K each there's no point going to 111 crates at 19.8K each.
