I love it , now we can have a round the map tug boat race with big prizes for the fastest times .

You can have a Reaper or an LMJ race aroumd the map. Why be so negative?
The Reaper doesn't do so well in water and you haven't even tried my round the map tug boat race .

Wait do you really have a tug boat race? That would be awesome somebody should make one

Everyone is just so obsessed with making money in this game I feel like most people don't even enjoy it

Enjoy the game a lot, just don't like the money part. I LOVE the crap out of this game when there's an active give cars to friends glitch.
I see you're the instant gratification type

You're dead wrong, I've over 150 days played on this game and grinded the sh*t out of it, earned 120 million on jobs. How many hours have you got on it. Where's the instant? I just don't like what rockstar have done with in recent years.Day 1 player since 2013. So you grinded to 120 mill and have a problem with earning money? Or was it you have a hard time making money so you duped cars to 120 million? Im confused but either way I use to be the instant gratification kind. Thats why I car glitched through out the years ( Billionaire you're speaking to by the way) but for the past year I started noticing everything this games has to offer and its mind blowing.

It's more to gta than just making as much bank as fast as you can all the time. Relax and have fun making money for a change.

I don't need money, I still have 40 million. Doesn't stop me sticking it to rockstar for being arseholes. I don't expect many people to have had the spare time I did during the games release, I was sick loaded on drugs for the first year so I just sat at home playing GTA until I got off the treatment :p I was awake nearly all the time from 50mg of prednisone anyway :p. I haven't needed to dupe cars for money, I enjoy collecting rare cars which is mostly what I've concentrated on in this game since early 2014. Most of my cars are rare/ almost unobtainable., Many are duped from other players but it's not for cash. Unless it's a race car which I haven't been able to obtain in a rare paint pretty much I wont own it. I have multiple copies of my account thanks to the amazing ps4 transfer glitch a few months ago which are good as a backup.

Cool bro I like to collect rare cars too but I kind of sold them all due to lack of garage space but I'll get them back once I get the extra space. I like your gamestyle and that prednisone sounds like good stuff

Dont be so stingy next time and share a few pills lol

I've had enough of people complaining about this update:

Me too; Bitches gonna Bitch though.

Players constantly complaining about lack of content, then something new comes along that actually feels like being a gangster/business and what do they do? They complain that other gangsters are ruining their sh*t and putting them out of business Lol.

There's obviously a valid argument to be made about R* deliberately over-pricing stuff for whatever reason, but as far as new content is concerned they're doing well. Any player that is still complaining about content and is doing nothing more than bitching about the new DLC and everything that comes with it needs to seriously think about going away and finding another game to play.

I'm just pissed that I spent around 7 mil on this update and it will take AGES to get back up to 17 mil due to the Special Cargo jobs being so slow and tedious. The stupid timers on them are annoying as f*ck, too. It's a not a bad update, but it's not great either. It's good for what it is, I guess. There's definitely room for improvements though. Hopefully Rockstar doesn't abandon the CEO stuff and actually adds to it/fixes it. Like the Associate payouts. They're actually laughable.

Honestly im bored with the update already. The warehouse missions are all the same. No diversity at all.

1. Rockstar could have done something to stop us by now (even if its making everyone fail if someone leaves during or after the cut scene). Obviously R* does not care about the finale glitch as much as people lead on.

1 1/2. the entry for heist, a high end apartment (cheapest is a little over $200k), rank 12, and $100,000 for the setups. Much cheaper and much more profit. If rockstar really cared they would have at least made warehouses a semi even way to make money. Not just a rip off and a scam like what they gave us.

2. People have already found a way to maintain keeping solo in public lobbies. There will always be a way now so they may as well make it in solo/invite/crew sessions now.

3. This feels like a rushed and incomplete update. They could have added more and tougher npcs or anything and make it solo sessions as well. Its not our fault they keep hydras and homing launchers so broken and do not give us enough explosive protection. If they wanted to make it a public lobby only, then we should have had more things like the insurgent or be able to use our own insurgents to transport warehouse stock.

4. They over hyped the dlc and the reaper in general. So since they didnt even make the car competitive with the T20 it felt yet again like a rushed and incomplete dlc.

The fmj and the bestra as well. Just feels like they wanted to take about 8 mill from us for just pure hype alone.

5. Price. Im rich as hell. Bought everything and the dlc still feels like a let down. No extra garage space. Sh1tty pegasus vehicles. Public sessions only. Sh1tty associate pays. Slow super cars. No explosive protection. No new weapons. And a new way to make money when i can make more doing contact missions for tom cruises sake. The most expensive dlc ever and all we get is some slow and useless toys. The only thing im even happy about is the free snacks and being able to spawn pegasus vehicles on top of your hq.

I have two basic complaints. This system is not scalable and will not remain enjoyable on the long run. No matter how many warehouses you own and which office you have, you will still be doing the same delivery jobs. A CEO in name, a henchman in reality. The only way to circumvent this is to find many associates that will do the jobs for you while you chill in your office. Nice gameplay. Brings us to the second complaint. The system relies on other players being wage slaves for you. It is already difficult to find associates, because everyone knows they would rather be CEOs. It will become more difficult as time passes, because the hype will die and people will be tired of wasting their time for someone else to make virtual money.Unfortunately, you are unable to address these problems. Only Rockstar can and I really doubt they will. They would have implemented the system better if they could have thought of these issues to begin with.

This.

I spent some time yesterday helping out lower levels. It turned into PvP chaos which I don't really enjoy & it ensures all you do is spend what little money you make. I'll stick to Contact Missions & I'll help take down the occasional jet bothering organisations using my kamikaze Besra.

Yes. We didn't need a new thread to bitch and moan about the bitch and moaners. Play your game and accept that not everyone is thrilled and move on.

As for the DLC, it's not really fun. It's an tremendously expensive and ultra-lengthy grind that has brought more toxicity to the community in the forms of people being kicked for merely landing in a public session. A great opportunity blown. What was fun, turns into a labor to keep a session amongst friends clean so you have a chance to make some profits. Without losing your shirt.

I'm not going to kiss R*'s ass. When they botch it, I'm going to call it. Bitch about my criticisms though. Your prerogative. The people that are happiest are the PVP players. Amazing is not what I would not describe this update. Far from it. The PVE and lone-wolfs which I am both, got shut out nearly fully from this one.

Complaining about complainers ain't going to help anything.

Well said. Bravo.

This update is not expensive at all, you can literally only spend ~1.3 mill and you're set to start running a company. Even the cars aren't that expensive.

All the negatives you've written come from a toxic community which R* has no control over and what I didn't even touch on in my op.

I think I have every right to express my annoyance with the fact that everytime I log in to these forums there are threads complaining. And don't you come telling me that I shouldn't have opened this "B&M" topic when there are countless others opened daily which do not get locked, at least mine is trying to spread some positivity which is clearly needed in this forum.

I dislike the restrictions, it goes against Rockstar's original trailer of "do whatever you want" except pick up crates in an invite only session, that's completely game breaking :dozing:

Wrong.

They are the developer, they have absolute control over it - and they are the only people who do.

A toxic community can only be toxic in a game if you set up your game to enable this kind of behaviour, or if you are clueless about MP design and don't correct for issues within the game. Every toxic behaviour that you care to name can be stopped by the developer either directly or indirectly. Every single one.

Oh, ok, your thread isn't a bitch and moan about bitch and moaners because you are postive? mmmmk. Public service eh spreading the love? Strange logic but, ok. Whatever floats your boat. Indulge your R* defenses and live in the land of ponies and beanie babies, I could really care less. This is still a B&M about B&M. Just don't waste new threads spreading your snowflakeness because YOU feel YOU deserve your own thread. And I will tell you it.

Live with it.

Your "toxic" is my in my opinion valid community feedback. Calling this community toxic marginalizes voices and seeks to "shut up" anyone who doesn't agree. If you don't like it, maybe you need a break? This is place for the community to break the DLC down in various angles. You might rethink such poor language choices. Toxic however, is appropriate in useage that people are getting kicked and bad sport points for doing nothing other than joining the wrong free roam session. That's hurting players for no reason, damaging free roam and creating antagonism. If you can't acknowledge that is a colossal f*ck up that the devs couldn't see coming, then either you have primrose glasses on or R* is clueless. I believe R* is much smarter than many give them credit for. They know what they are doing.

Honestly, I didn't read too much of your first post. My first reaction was 'someone has their special snowflake on bitching and moaning about bitching and moaners.'

That opinion hasn't changed.

But, best of luck of to you.

I'm sure you've seen what the majority of GTA 5's gaming population is made up of, immature people or children who get off on killing others for no reason. As many changes as R* can make they can't really change the mentality players have without changing what the game was initially meant to be, an open-world online game where people were free to do what they wanted including going on killing sprees.

Cheapest office without any customisation -> $1,000,000

Cheapest warehouse ->~$300,000

And voilà you are a CEO.

Buying a small warehouse is a waste of time. Only the medium and large ones are worth bothering with if you want any chance of recouping your losses.

Then those players are not cut out to be a CEO, it's literally only $300,000 more then what you need to have in the bank to be a VIP and once you pay that amount you get rid of the vip timer once and for all. Ofc it has to cost you $1mill+ otherwise every single player would be a CEO. Edited by IceColdFrostMT

That's only $300k more than the bare minimum to be a VIP.

Think about it this way, for the price of an Insurgent Pickup, you too can become a CEO.

Thanks goodness for glitches. Some of us have jobs and other commitments that take up gaming time. Plus, GTA O is not the only game out there that needs to be played.

I've had enough of people complaining about this update:

- You are not supposed to be able to grind Pac Standard Finale so stop saying it is more profitable, you can grind it all you want but know that that is a glitch and you're not supposed to be doing it.

-There's no denying that playing heists (w/o any glitching) is more profitable but you need a group of 3 other competent players and if you don't like grinding it can get boring quickly, Rockstar never claimed this was the most profitable way of making money but it does make a lot of money.

- Ofc the delivery of cargo worth $2.2 million is going to be hard, if you don't hire associates then just stay selling smaller $200,000 batches like I'm doing or sell them in solo public sessions without getting the rival player bonus. Don't bite more than you can chew.

- Difficulty - do you seriously expect Rockstar to have this new dlc be a walk in the park. You are running a freaking smuggling company ofc you are going to get sabotaged, attacked, etc you can easily stay away from being a CEO if you like being spoon-fed.

- Cars - just because you don't like a car doesn't mean it's "ruined" or Rockstar did a terrible job. If you go to their respective appreciation threads you'll see that there are people that like each one and if you don't like one just don't buy it lmao, it's that simple. I don't like the Bestia's back-end so I didn't buy it but there are others that love it.

- Expensive - You are not meant to buy the most expensive office or warehouse. I literally bought the cheapest office with the least amount of customisation and a small warehouse and I've almost made back what I spent. You could have easily stayed away from wasting millions if you wanted to.

I've had enough of fantards defending this garbage. No matter how much you try to claim this update was good the majority of people who play this game know that it's total sh*t. And you crying about people exposing that this update is sh*t... Good luck with that ! This update is full of bugs, lazy, un imaginative and half assed like every thing else in this game is.

So please stop sitting here trying to tell people to like this turd of an update you low expectation mother f*cker.

Lmao someone needs to calm the f*ck down. If the game is soooo "half-assed" and "total sh*t" then why are you even still playing?

Because it's fun. And before you reply and make a fool of yourself, just because the game is fun doesn't mean it isn't a broken turd of a game. And if you do reply, please include something to defend how a competent game developer can justify releasing a game that has load times in excess of 10 minutes for some...

If you're referring to the loading screen you get when you boot up the game then ofc it can take long (especially if you're loading into a full public session) seeing as GTA 5 is an enormous game. I have 0 game developing knowledge so I won't comment on what they can or cannot do to reduce loading times.

People are right to complain, I'm sorry to say. I've generally been a defender of most GTA updates because free trumps many minor concerns, and because fun is more important to me than virtual money. That said - the payouts for this aren't just mediocre, they're abysmal. Even if you're running it optimally, the CEO is getting less than he'd get from doing heists, VIP work, or missions, and the associates are getting FAR less. And that doesn't even take into account the forced risk. You have to play in public lobbies, so if you don't game the system and find an empty session to protect via vote-kicking, you're going to frequently lose minutes of work - sometimes even HOURS of work, with no compensation. And this after an initial buy-in of millions of dollars. Players aren't supposed to be surly about that?

One or both of these needs to happen with haste:

1. Remove the public lobby requirement. It's dumb and it's creating a toxic environment. Just increase the AI presence in invite-only sessions, voila, problem solved. Lots of people will enjoy doing these as alternatives to missions with friends and crew.

2. Double the payouts for everything, pronto. If the reward was greater, people would be more willing to swallow the risk.

10 minute loading times were not even acceptable when AOL and dial up was cool. Every thing in this game takes for ever to load, and it's because Rockstar is a marketing company first and a 3rd rate game developer a very distant 2nd.

Load times could be improved for sure. It feels like they've gone backward in that department, the only times I've played in the last couple weeks it took several minutes to get in. Fallout 4 (the other main game I'm playing right now) loads much, much faster despite also being an open world game with a big map. Online shouldn't be significantly more taxing - you're loading the exact same map as single player, with some additional shared information from other players in session.

I don't know enough about the inner workings to comment in more depth, but something about this system is not optimally designed, without a doubt. The load times and frequency of lagging out are both unacceptable compared to most other major multiplayer titles.
