plane deliveries are difficult (don't try them with randoms)

damn I just had to land 3 planes at Lago zancudo in 30 minutes to get my 2.22 mil. luckily me and my one bodyguard are skilled pilots but most people can't land anything anywhere given my past Titan of a job experience.

this is designed to be a net loss of money, plain and simple.

luckily I had a friend who also farmed 2 warehouses so we traded because f*ck the 5500 pay

oh and did I mention the cell tower hidden by smoke on the second delivery?

because someone who didn't know the map couldn't avoid it.

these deliveries are riskier than mastermind in a closed session never mind with a passive hydra following you in public

note that they are still profitable though, I made 4.44 mil in 3 days, plus special items

like 3 mil after expenses

not bad given most of my time was spent driving all my cars about

if I crash a plane then dashboard what happens?

If you close the game before it saves...it doesn't save. You should take care that it doesn't save right after the start of a delivery or anything, otherwise, it seems people are being punished for it.

I learned this the hard way, but my random only lost me 5 out of the 20 crate drops I was doing from a small warehouse. It seemed though, that when I logged in on the next day, my warehouse was still 75% full as if it let me keep the crates that didn't get destroyed. I didn't log out before it saved or anything. I stayed on for an hour or so after in fact.

Did I get lucky or is that just the way it works?

I also managed to fill up my warehouse back to 100% and do both sets of 10 crate drops by myself by flying back to LSIA and picking up the second plane.

It seems enemy aircraft spawn at the drop points no matter if you've picked up the crates or not?. Probably worth a sighting trip in your Hydra first.

I will fill up my warehouse with randoms but you best believe I'm calling an actual friend when I go to sell. I just don't have the confidence/trust in them

I tried using randoms but they soon learn I'm earning a lot more and bail

and if I throw them a bone in better off solo due to wasted time

If your on PC I'll be glad to fly for you,I can fly very very well. Also don't fly low take a high altitude run to avoid hills and other obstacles. Then just dive at the runway at the end

This is how sell missions work. The assistant tells you this.

The first time I went to sell my stuff I crashed the second plane, caused 8 crates to be returned. When I went to go and sell again I hhad 2 Brickades to drive. I would always recommend to sell your stuff solo and when there are nobody else in the lobby and been talked about by others. And doing it solo limits the blame to yourself unless the game lags which was the case for my failure (game lagged and it flew me into a wind turbine.).

Yeah, the biggest the sale the more tricky it gets. Small warehouse is the way to go for me, if you are not sure of your skills and your bg skills.

Does that 3 delivery plane mission have a radar feature like othe plane delivery missions? like if you fly low could you stop the enemy npcs from spawning?

Haven't done that one yet so I'm just curious.

The one I played did not but it was only two planes. Just had to avoid NPC heli's hovering over the drop spots.

Fair enough. I figured it meant that if I destroyed any crates, the entire shipment would be junk. That makes it seem way less scary.

Was my first high $$$ money run and I did it by myself... Crashed into one of those construction pole things 😢

It's mainly because I panicked when the buzzards started showing up

I'm sure plenty people know this already but,the buzzards don't shoot missiles (or at least they didn't in my case) if you spend money on buying the jammer upgrade in your warehouse.

All they do is shoot bullets and with upgrades they will barely hurt your plane.

Can you make delivery in any plane?

No, You must use the one they give you. (Would be way too easy if we could pick our own...)

I found out today that the upgraded Titan is basically indestructible. Money well spent after all. Thanks to the annoying signal smoke, I hit towers or telephone poles twice with my wing and ended up making an abrupt, nose-first landing both times. Both times I was able to take off again and finish the drops. I don't know how it holds up against jets or whatever, but at least you're protected from yourself.

AwqULNG.jpgMy first plane delivery, only survided because my Titan was upgraded

If I blow up the Titan AFTER THE DELIVERIES ARE DONE do I lose upgrades?

The stunting potential is interesting

Wholeheartedly side with OP on this one. Can't say I'm a stellar pilot, just a reasonably competent one, which still puts me leagues ahead of randoms. Thing is, even I botched the first Titan delivery I tried - had to fly close to the ground, it was dark, and I noticed that fatal pole too late. Cost a good person 42 crates, still feeling guilty about it. Point is, a random will fare even worse. Get a good pilot on that plane for the delivery, preferably yourself.

Side-note: I was weirded out by the designated key to drop a package from the plane - "right arrow", right until the moment it dawned on me it's a very comfortable key to hit with your thumb, while your right hand is on the Num Pad.

Had a f*ckin Valkyrie sent after me, chewed up my plane and lost all of my crates :(

Yeah, I don't trust anybody.

I fly all three planes alone. Takes 15 minutes, better than farming 111 crates again.

Yeah you need some backup even solo

I had 1 guy in a hydra and it shot him out, but it was the last drop luckily

It also dodged like 4 missiles
