vote to kick needs to be reworked or removed

You won't be kicked from the lobby unless you get half the lobby + 1 player to kick you so why do you care? I get votes to be kicked every single day but I just move on, it won't do anything. And as usual, we'll always have someone to cry about jets in threads that didn't even mention them at first. P996 rules.

I'm tired of mumbling, stoned walnuts getting their jimmies all in a bunch and simply voting me out of a lobby when I play the game and stop them from delivering crates. I knew this game had a lot of crybabies but I had no idea it was literally everyone.

And i bet you are stopping them with a jet ...

I actually think the vote to kick movement is hilarious. If R* won't fix the dumb jet problem, people will have to game the system to protect themselves and mitigate the risk in order to actually enjoy the update. It's either that or session- hopping to find an empty lobby. And even then, matchmaking will sometimes throw randoms back in again.

 

I have no problem with it. Fix the jets - and the piss poor payouts, which make any amount of risk not worth dealing with - and maybe people will stop kicking others from sessions.

lol, walnut reporting in I see. R* made a dumb update without taking jets and artillery into account. Or they did and simply didn't care. Either way, you shouldn't get kicked out for simply playing the game.

This entire game doesn't take jets into account. Which is why they are the root of the problem. Everything else is Bandaids on top of more Bandaids. How is anyone supposed to protect a slow, fragile moving van from a flying warplane? Or do a free roam event where they have to be on the ground, out in the open, while a jet dive bombs them? Vote to kick is the least of a mountain of problems that all start with a badly unbalanced weapon set. There wouldn't have to be all these counter measures against griefing (not just kicking, but also passive, ghosting, ghost org, reporting, bad sport, etc.) if only it wasn't so very easy to grief in this catastrophic mess of a game.

 

Subtract jets and the homing launcher, and it suddenly gets a hell of a lot better. Until they do that, I hope you get kicked a thousand times, and I'll chuckle to myself every time, too.

 

Then it would fall to helicopters. Let's take away everything until your safe space is sufficiently furnished.

Helicopters? Really? The thing that can be shot down with 90% of available weapons including the starter pistol...

There's a clear difference between someone kicking someone for simply playing the game, and me complaining about a clearly broken system.

You're kind of pick-and-choose-y about what's "within the parameters of the game" when both jets AND kicking are intentional parts of the game.

While crate-delivering players are at their most defenseless, often in spawned vehicles that are slow and unarmored (and lack insurance deterrents), that's when you attack in the most powerful vehi-weapon in the game? That's kind of pathetic. I wouldn't be surprised if you only attacked when off-radar, too. Possibly, even immediately go passive if you find yourself out of your jet involuntarily until you get another jet. Those are all legitimate parts of the game, too; it doesn't mean you're NOT acting like a d-bag.

 

I don't see Rockstar making any changes to either the jets or the kick system. Just be glad that being kicked doesn't put a player in a 15-minute no-Online time out where you have to sit in story mode or that crate-destruction doesn't contribute to BS points like PVs

Nice try, but no, moron, I don't care about helicopters. They are far easier to avoid and far easier to destroy. Nor do I care about tanks, insurgents, or kurumas. Not one thing in this game is even one-quarter as unbalanced as the jet is.
