Btw, when your warehouse is like 50% or 60% filled, your secretary phones you, this phone call occurs after you have delivered some crates, from memory "well done boss the warehouse[...blablabla...]", she explains you in substance you may be raided( she uses an expression like "attract thieves" or something).

 

Sorry I don't remember the exact wording of her dialogue, anyway at the moment you receive the well-done-boss phone call, you risk to be raided by gangs, she makes it clear.

Nope. Personal experience. I have been raided when I had everything from 6 to 40 crates in my medium warehouses. To add to that I have read many posts in this forum telling the same thing. I stand by what I said.

Question of Thought; do you have to be CEO? You may say that you have to be 'logged in', but do you mean as "just" logged in, or do you have to be a CEO before the raid(s) appear?

I haven't thought of that, but my guess is that you have to be CEO. I mostly do CEO stuff alone.

I've been buying more crates again, to take advantage of the 25% sale bonus, and I have come across a glitch that had never happened to me before. I go to the office, start a buy mission for 3 crates, pay the 18,000 GTA$, do the mission, but when I deliver the crates to the warehouse, the stock remains unchanged. If I have 30 crates stored in the warehouse prior to the mission, after completion the stock remains at 30 crates. It happend once a few days ago, and it heppened again yesterday.

I completed a special item delivery the other day and just happened to notice it was available - I was not called by my secretary. I just so happened to noticed that the single crate purchase option for the art special cargo was $25K and said special item in the green box. Always check the first position before you buy multiple crates of special cargo, you might be passing over it from time to time. Nice payout, that's for sure!

 

My medium warehouse was 79% filled and the small warehouse was around 20% filled with special cargo when I noticed the special item.

^^^ This is correct. Once you hit six special items you won't get anymore. These ones sold for 675k

 

 

So thats why I havent been able to fill my warehouse with special items, there goes my plan for filling up a large warehouse with only special items. IIRC mine had a value of 800k, if I'm not mistaken having special items with regular crates lowers their value.

Ya I think it was one truck, i've never collected them since. Always a fire sale now. Tug, Cuban or Titan? Unlikely but wouldn't rule them out.

Its either a single Brickade, Cuban800 or a Tugboat. I had all 3 types for Special Items.

Yes, but I think the calls may have something to do with time spent as a CEO. I was just messing around the other day and got a call from my assistant about one. I wasn't even doing any crate missions. I almost missed it cause I tend to ignore the calls that come in.

I'm almost always CEO. 90% of the time.

It's probably some kind of random thing that happens. When I got the first one, I thought it was because I kept doing crate missions. The last one, I really wasn't doing anything but driving around. Has anyone ever figured out what triggers them?

I usally receive one call per large warehouse that I fill, but this week I have two large werehouses almost full (93 and 90 crates each, will finish filling up and sell them later today), and haven't received any call yet.

Yes. I got 3 during the first week of the last 25% bonus event.

 

You have to do crates to increase the chances of getting them. Sometimes you might even get 2 Special Items in one day (2-warehouses method).

 

 

Has anyone ever figured out what triggers them?

Nope. I once got one when I was session hopping. Got stuck delivering it in a chaotic session, but I made it.

I got a call for one yesterday. In an invite only session. While doing a Biker contract.
