Okay, I just bought a Third warehouse and the value of my Bigfoot Pelt went up from $105k to $115k it is by itself in a warehouse(a warehouse that will now be for special items that I will NEVER sell, I will collect them, lol) So if you have 5 warehouses and all of the "Special Items" in one Warehouse then you can sell them for the most that they will be worth.

 

Oh, and this also explains why some people were saying the Bigfoot Pelt was worth $95k, probably because they only had one warehouse.

Well my 3rd special item which I got just now was the ornamental egg. Got it at 110 buy missions. Dunno if that fits with whatever calculations were done earlier in this thread.

i think the more succesful you are delivering cargo increase the value of the special items...

 

at one point i had the pelt and the egg worth 230k, they later were worth 250k after a successful sale and later dropped in value back to 230k after i destroyed the cargo i was supposed to take to the warehouse.

Got the Egg the other day after first 'special' call:

 

 

 

 

So far have gotten two more calls about 'special' items both times during other buy runs, but when I got through with them I checked the PC and nothing there.

 

I make sure I remind my assistant about it with a 'bitch' every time I walk through my office doors.

I received my first call for a special item from my assistant today but when I went to purchase it, there was still approx. 1.5 mins cool down. So I came out of the PC to do some stuff before returning to the crate purchase screen. However, the special item had now disappeared from my available offers and had been replaced by a standard $2,000 crate. I backed out and refreshed the PC a few times but it made no difference.

 

Is there only a narrow window that it is available for or something?

Special Items are bugged I swear. First time I got the call, I head to my office and there it is. Every time I've gotten a call since, I get to my office and it's just regular ass special crates.

Can other people in the session buy it out from under you? That's the only other thing I can think of but I swear the second special item I got there was nobody but me and my friend but I can't be positive of that.

That's a great shout! Would make sense unless there is anybody who has experienced it in an empty lobby. Mine at least was in a busy session. I hope this is the case because it adds something to the whole thing. (Though I still wish we could actually steal crates from each other instead of just destroying them).

 

edit: Scratch that. I just got my second special item notification while in an empty lobby with just one friend. So I sat on it until he finished the collection he was doing to see whether he also got the call, but he didn't. As I was waiting on the buy screen the whole time I was able to go ahead and grab it.

 

Incidentally, both of my assistant's phone calls have came immediately after delivering a crate to my warehouse.

a mission named "the last one" its unlocked once you get 100% completion of the game.

Both of mine have been solo in public lobbies, but like you the calls come while still in the warehouse after delivering to it.

How does the new special item prompt look like now that phone calls have been taken away? It'd be a shame to miss the prompt if it's really brief and appears while you're in a loading screen and disappears when you're done loading...

From my own experience:

I'm 100% sure that you can't get any special item call once you've collected and keep all 6 different items, because my 6th special item was on 297 missions and after doing more than 100 missions I wasn't able to get one. The problem was gone after selling all my special stuff at once.

I don't know how it would work after new update though (bought only 3 after 1.35), but I don't think it's changed something.

But seriously, it says that "Special item available for purchase, it costs more than regular one, but the profit from selling would be higher".

It appears immediately after delivering regular crate to your warehouse, much like it was with phone call.

If you missed it for some reason, you can always see special item on SSN computer in the office.

I just spawned after a heist and the shirt was glitched. The Maisonette 9 logo appearing over any type of outfit it's happening to people since months ago iirc.

Yeah, I've been in the stunt racing lobby with the Elite Challenges logo on top of my Jock Cranley suit and someone called me a hacker. It only appears like that in the lobbies (where you can bet while waiting for everyone to be "ready")

Last time I checked those 6 special items were worth 720k. So that's 120k / special item. Their single value has varied from 95k to 125k, so I see no big bonus there. Sure it's best to sell them all once, so you don't lose that much time in the delivery process.

You can't get more than six, I know that.

^^^ This is correct. Once you hit six special items you won't get anymore. These ones sold for 675k
