Special Crate/Special Item Appreciation & Discussion Thread

As I'm sure most of you know, if you're a CEO with a warehouse, you pick up special crates. Some are funny (vials of Anthrax), some are meh (alcohol). Occasionally, you'll get a phone call from your assistant urging you to come back to the office and act quickly on purchasing a "Special Item". I did so and didn't think twice about it. I was wandering around the warehouse today and got a good look at the special I picked up a couple of days ago. It looks to be a Sasquatch carcass... It cost me $21,000, but it's supposedly worth $105,000.Post pics of the special items (and the more outrageous special crates) that you've collected.

Special cargo is cargo you can collect after 10 successful cargo missions (buying the crates) these are harder than average collection missions but are worth a lot more (100-900k per special cargo)

Special Cargo is the standard cargo. Special Items is the unique named cargo. For example:

 

Special Cargo:

Animal Materials

 

Special Item:

Big Foot Skin

Also, "special cargo" can only be delivered individually.

Ergo, if you have a special crate in your warehouse along with a bunch of other goods, it will sell your goods but not your special item.

The special item gets its own sell mission separate from the other crates.

 

Also, every ten successful purchases?

I have over 50, and I only got one special cargo...

People, stop confusing special cargo with special items. Special cargo is what you buy all the the time. Special items are the ones you get a call for, cost more, and sell for a lot more.

 

@king rossey. Once you answer the call and the secretary tells you to come back to the office to set up the deal, you go to your computer, click on a warehouse, and instead of the top option saying "1 crate, $2,000" or whatever, it'll say "special item", and the price anywhere from 20k to 30k.

you'll get flares in your weapon wheel when you need them in these missions.

 

does anyone know what kind of special cargo there is?

 

i've collected a golden mini gun so far.

 

 

and does anyone know if npc attacks can get your special cargo? im having the idea of keeping all special items ui ui ui because they are special hihihi

Drop a flare ?

Yes some buys are air drops. You just throw a flare and wait for the drop. When you get to the location the flare will be on your weapon wheel.

 

I just got my second, got the damn rare pocket watch again. Lol. Cost 30k, sells for 150k.

Like myself ive been grabbing 3 crates all f*ckin day and i was wondering if maybe if you grabbed singles all day would it spawn?

 

A 111 crate garage would be upwards of 10 mill imagine that LOL

how often my secretary will call me? i read on different sites that after 10 successful delivery. but i fill up already my medium warehouse but my secretary didn't call me at all.

So I'm at like 80% and I got my first phone call about the Special Item, but it's not showing up in my warehouse menu.. I've done like 3 collections since.....

the first time i got a call i had the same issue. went back to the office like ui ui ui with golden $ signs in my eyes but there was no offer for a special item. i was like äi äi äi. then i got a second call and it worked. i was like ouff.

I've filled up 2 large warehouses and not had the call. Must be a glitch I assume or am I just THAT unlucky?

I have sold a half full medium warehouse two times and a full small one once, and I haven't got even ONE special cargo.

As we know with special cargo, the more you have. the more a single crate is worth. So is the same true for special items?

Its not "special cargo"its more like a special item.Its a single item that spawns randomly,or it may have to do with many factors such as collection success rates or how many you pick up like if you always go for 3 crates maybe it wont spawn idk,
