Played in a Solo Public Session for 2 hours today.

And ended up making over $650k.

This update has been a pain in the ass because it's hard to get a solo session but if you can -- do it. It's worth it. And while you wait until you can see contraband. Do some sightseers and point to points. You could make up to $1M that way.

Is this the easiest way to make money?

If I can continue to do this. I'll be eating money for dessert!

This is a very good reason it should be public sessions, too game breaking allowing private and invite only sessions. The power of logic compels you!

Hardly game breaking. $650k isn't going to get you as far as it should.

You make a average of 215k an hour, 430k for two(barely) making 130k more than average and he just started it. Now months into prob makimg 800k solo

More like irrelevant. What does more money get you? Certainly not an insta-win button, because there is nothing TO win. Just K/D padding. Edited by DominusTaranis

650k net or gross? Because you're spending money buying crates too. Also how long did it take you to do that? Crate missions can take forever.

Started GTA with $7.35M today; and now I've eclipsed $8.1M. It took me two hours. I had a great partner in crime who helped with the crate missions. I also tend to sell them when I reach 12 crates. It's easier to deliver that way.

If I have 2 hours a day spare (and since my shows are on hiatus; I can play at night), and I make $650K / day -- I'll end up with $4.55M a week; $20.15M a month, $241.8M a year.

Maybe one day isn't ground breaking -- but it's certainly a huge gain.

Not game breaking. I'm just saying it's not ruining it for other players. :p

Well I don't know what I've been doing wrong, delivering a BF surfer from Sandy Shores to a warehouse in LS already takes over 10 minutes in itself, which I could make 40k out of that time with VIP missions.

I grinded the new CEO Work in an empty public session earlier, I made about 500k in 4 hours. It took so long because I didn't have any help though.

Once upon a time I could make 700k in that time by doing the Sightseer > Hostile Takeover > Sightseer > Trash Talk > Repeat combo, but I'd get bored quickly. The CEO Work isn't even close to being the best way to make money, but it's really fun if it isn't ruined.

Also, since the update released when I'm not doing CEO Work I'm doing Sightseer and Headhunter. Is this more efficient than the combo I mentioned before? I'm not sure yet.

I don't understand, I appear to be making more money than most of the people that i have seen. In about and hour, i get around 100k worth of stock in both my warehouses. However, many other people seem to be going far slower. Yes, i may not actually have that money, but next time I log in, i sell it in less than 15 mins usually.

I have been try harding the sh*t out of this update, and i do like to challenge myself to see just how quickly i can get it done. But i don't understand why i am having far more success than what the people are saying on these forums.

Also, it's not like i'm doing this all day every day or something, i do have a job, and i am in japan so the work hours are probably longer than usual for people on here. I just don't understand what i am doing differently.

Still no. By a wide margin.

You said played a solo public session, and later added you had a great partner in crime who helped you, so you weren't solo for long I guess.

That being said, I'm very suspicious about your 650k in 2 hours (and certainly your great partner in crime can't say the same if that's the case) I bet you forgot an hour or two in the mix, but giving you the benefit of the doubt and straight comparing your 650k in 2 hours, then yeah I would say it's pretty good.

I'm sure some fleeca with a decent player followed by sightseer+hostile takeover (or any similar vip/ceo mission) would be better /hour but if you really made those 650k in two hours, congratulation that's more than decent cash/hour

honestly everything is spaced out enough on the timers that you can grab a crate, run sightseers, grab another crate, run another sightseers/headhunter, and repeat. Could be quick money for sure.

Here's the thing, you made 700k between two people, you own your mate a zero cut heist so you've made nothing. I make 300k clean profit an hour solo doing this and I'm pretty efficient (two well placed large warehouse's), still to much controller work. I doubt anyone is going to solo more than that.

Glad to see there are people making this pay. It took me over two hours (alone in a public session) just to clear my medium sized warehouse (42 crates) and my profit was around $250k. Then you add in the time it took to fill the warehouse in the first place (approx 3 hours) and that's a lot of time and effort for not a great deal of reward.

Yes it is. ^_^ But you should set yourself a time when to stop because it could get boring.

You get 15-20k for doing the VIP missions, they take about 5 minutes at least. It takes 7-9 minutes to do a CEO mission 3 crates solo which if you sell large warehouses is 14k x 3 profit so 42k. It's more efficient per hour to do CEO work with two warehouses because then you don't get any cool down but it's boring as hell.

Is no one going to point out that with a couple of non-scrub friends you can make upwards of 800k per hour farming pac-stand? Even uncontested this still doesn't even come close to comparing to the cash you can make from heists. In semi-full mostly non aggressive public lobbies it's taken me 3+ hours to make 600k worth of warehouse goods, which doesn't even account for my initial investments. And in a heist you don't have some 12 year old twat waiting outside the bank with a hydra ready to blast you into oblivion... I could honestly farm cash twice as fast soloing the old af contact missions compared to what this pays.

Now let me make sure I understand this. After 2.5 years, Rockstar has finally succeeded in creating a DLC that encourages and incentivizes single player activities in their online multiplayer game. Genius!!

How can I lag into a session by myself? It puts me in 25+ player lobbies and doesn't lag out.

run youtube, netflix spotify, everything on your pc to slow you rinternet down if you have a really good connection.

obviously mute all the things. but yeah keep a playlist going, a tv list going, and a music playlist going on mute and itll slow you right the hell down.

Alright...there are some crazy, conflicting numbers running around this thread. I haven't played much of the crate fetch sh*t but I did run 2 hours of Sightseer and Headhunter to see what that would gain me. My results are as follows:

Hour 1: $193,467

I sold two cars off the street in this hour. A 5k and a 6k. I also robbed several stores, I'd say about 12k worth as I waited out some cool downs.

Hour2: $202,492

I only sold one additional car in this hour while still robbing stores during cool downs. Due to the timing of cool downs at the top of the second hour I was able to fit one additional VIP mission in. Full disclosure, I started the final VIP mission at the 1:58 minute mark so this was more like 2hrs and 4 minutes of effort.

Grand total for 2 hours of work simply alternating Sightseer and Headhunter (with 3 low priced car sales and store robberies) was 395,959. All within a private session where I didn't have to worry about other players. Yesterday I started this test and at the 35 minute mark I had about 125k. I made the mistake of trying to complete a daily that required leaving my private session and it glitched my VIP timers to be 400 hours, so I stopped playing. This means my grand total for 2.5 hours of VIP work was approximately $525,959.

Look, I'm not saying you all shouldn't take advantage of the new CEO stuff. I'm not saying it's not fun (haven't done much of it myself). But from the SOLO (and I mean true solo not saying "solo" and then admitting you had someone help you) perspective the fetch quests can be time consuming and there's still the risk that you sale goes horribly wrong and you lose that money. My VIP session had 0 risk of interruption and the new Headhunter times out very, very well with Sightseer. I was never more than 4 minutes between missions and in some instances I was able to do them back to back.

what is spaced out? you need two warehouses of course! they all have their OWN cooldown. so you can fill up two warehouses instead of one!!!!

That's still a really poor return. There is no 'best way' to make money in this game (legitimately anyway).

I'd sooner grind the PS Finale glitch if money is the objective. That or wait for the next dupe glitch.

Still the profits of 2 warehouses is less than 1 warehouse and 1 sightseers/headhunter mission, and the profits from VIP jobs are instant profit. Warehouses are risky to begin with because they aren't guaranteed, and can potentially make you lose money.
