"Rockstar Activation Code already in use"

So, I just updated my Steam GTA 5 copy to the latest update, since the new ScriptHook just released today. I launch it, and then it tells me this. I've looked it up and the only thing I have gotten is "Contact C* to reactivate yur game lul" but I really don't want to go through their sh*tty support, so I'm gonna check here to see if there is anything else I can do. This happened just after I installed the update. I have a legit Steam version, and this is the first time it is asking me to re-activate after an update.

I will be thankful for any response, I paid $60 for this game day 1 and I want to play what I paid for, I should not have to go through their support for a sh*tty mistake they made.

 

EDIT: SO I just logged in to my Social Club in my browser and I was greeted with this:

 

Did the game just activate itself on social club after I updated? This is making no sense to me now.

 

NEVERMIND. The game fixed itself. I guess logging into my social club on my PC did something? Still very confused, but whatever. Looks like it works now.
