Selling cargo solo.

If you get a tough mission, could you just disconnect from Online and then reset or do you lose the shipment?

30 minutes is enough time to deliver a vehicle, go back, and deliver a second one. Even if it's flying a plane to the other side of the map I've had no trouble doing it alone within the time frame. If it's 3+ delivery vehicles though, that might be too risky. If you've got randoms in the lobby then it's likely not worth it at all to do more than one-vehicle deliveries.

You can disconnect if you get a mission that you don't think you can complete in time and you will not lose the shipment.

I was going to solo offload my medium warehouse today and it was going to be in 3 brickades that each had to do 15 drop off in 30 mins, no way could I have done that myself. So I left the session before I did any drops and I still had all my crates in the warehouse. I then got one where I just had to deliver 3 brickades to a single drop off in 30 mins which I had done before but this time after I got the 3rd brickade to the drop off point I was attacked by AI that came in 3 waves of 2 cars with 3 AI in each car.

Leave the session in terms of going to a new lobby? Or plugging off your ethernet cable?

I did two deliveries in the Brickade. Easy but was nervous that someone was going to show up. There were 2 randoms and myself. Smooth sailing.

The other sale was in a tugboat and that thing is slow. You have 4 NPC's sharing a jet ski coming after you. I panicked and got out to kill them to having a helicopter show up and shoot you. To be honest, you probably don't need to kill the NPC on a tugboat. Just make sure your snacks are full and the menu open to the snacks. Full snacks and not stopping can get you there safely. It is a huge waste of time to stop the tug boat and kill them. They can't shoot through the window. There is no angle for the NPC and heli to really harm you.

Good luck.

You could either unplug the internet OR you can close out of the GTA application entirely before it autosaves. Just hit close application and voila.

Lol it would ask you to make 5 drop offs with each truck, adding to a total of 15. Not 15 dropoffs for each truck lmao.

Whats the math for doing 2 crate shipments for large warehouse?

I feel comfortable running those solo, or with associates. Only 8k gone each time instead of 18k, for twice the crates

as single shipments, and they seem more likely to be easier and faster to get done. A good balance it seems to me. Everyone talking about 3 crate shipments but those are a rip off imo

Just estimating in my head thats around 50% more shipments to do, but for more than half off the purchase fees

2 times I've sold a full small warehouse(16 crates), each time it was a two trip delivery, either two trucks to deliver or two cuban airplanes to do 10 drops each. If you want to be ceo you better be an ace pilot, or go practice landings with airplanes and helicopters.

@chieftheef, there is another thread explaining cost vs time vs number of total missions of either buying single, double or triple crates. A lot of the time triple crates is one vehicle to deliver, but other times is 3 trips.

You can do 16 single crates or missions to fill a small warehouse or do 5.2 missions (3 crate) delivery to fill it the same way.

I thought I didn't have to kill the NPCs on the jet skis, but they ended up sinking the tugboat somehow.

How do I begin to buy & sell cargo? I never see any options for this anywhere

Purchase an office

Purchase a warehouse

Go to the big desk in the office, sit in the chair, access the computer

Select your warehouse

Choose 1, 2, or 3 crates and purchase & confirm

Start the grind

When you are ready to sell. Access the computer in the warehouse you want to sell from. Your choices will be to sell everything, sell half, or just a quarter of that warehouse's inventory.

If/when you have rare items stored, they will be sold separately from regular "Special Cargo" and your only option is to sell all the rare items you have.

I don't think there's a limit on how many times you can sell cargo solo. I've sold from my large/small warehouse numerous times.

There is no limit,I guess you could say the cool down timer is close to a limit of selling cargo.

I've sold 2 airplanes solo a few times. I'm not sure if I would have enough time to sell 3.

I've also sold 2 trucks a few times, easy.

The few times I sold with randoms helping, of course I got the tug, once no enemies at all. Probably for the best, I can't trust randoms with the Titan in titan of a job FFS never mind a cargo plane carrying my crates.

Buy with full organization, sell alone (natural lobby lag out, only a matter of time). That's how I've been doing it for the most part.

There is more than enough time to do 3 trucks or 3 airplanes solo. Usually there is about 10 minutes left when I do them. Each time you deliver a plane or a truck just order a CEO chopper so you can quickly get back. Edited by C64fanatic

I've done 3-Brickades solo several times. Even the Trackify version is easy because you only have to locate the destination once.

I haven't gotten 3-planes as the game would rather put me in the Titan, but I have completed 2-Cubans solo. This morning I scouted in a Buzzard, then switched to a Hydra, then flew back to take a Titan to 5 drop zones. I still had 10+ minutes left upon payoff.

The only one that I was even remotely close to being concerned about the time was a 3-Brickade delivery where I had to drop packages off to 5 locations, each, and they were unusually spread out and the drop points were in annoying alleyways. I bumped a police car and when I called Lester the cop ran into me after the bribe was paid, so I had a wanted level again with a cooldown to have it removed. Good thing train tunnels are big enough for the Brickade and too scary for cops to enter (usually).

Still got them all delivered with 8 minutes to go.

I've only ever had one Titan delivery, and that was when I first filled Wholesale Furniture.

Cuban(s): 4

Titan: 3

Tug: 3

Brickade(s): 15

Total: 25 deliveries

Full-warehouse sales: 7

Solo deliveries: 23

Success rate: 100%

I think my success rate is only 94%, two fails the very first day, pub lobby and once real fail since (plus a game freeze when I tried to call merryweather for heli backup and I lost 110 crates, R* said piss off), but I prefer to sell a big amount of cargo by myself, in an empty lobby. Cough there are ways to always get that cough

It's not that tough even if you get "fly the 3 cubans and do deliveries" one, so long as the lobby is empty. I finished it w/ 12 minutes to spare. Just be prepared.

I always sell my medium (42) crate warehouse solo and i usually get the tugboat or single brickade. I rarely get the planes or 3 truck sell missions.

You're allowed to sell whatever amount you want solo, and almost all of the sell missions can be done easily. The only one that is very difficult is the one where you are delivering goods in one or more cuban planes and upon nearing a delivery marker you encounter attack helicopters firing miniguns at you. It's nearly impossible to do this alone as the attack choppers are too fast to outrun and will damage you too much before you can make it to a safe landing area to get out of the plane and try to shoot them down. You really need a friend in a Buzzard/Savage/Hydra for this mission. All others I can do solo piece of cake.

Remember if you see it's about to go wrong or you feel you can't succesfully complete the delivery you can quickly shut the game down and only loose 3 crates. Don't quit by using the menus - you need to "hard-quit". On the PS4 I hold down the playstation-button and quit that way. If you do it before the game saves you only loose 3 crates on a sale from medium and big warehouses.

"Up to three crates"

I force-quit a Titan delivery because it stopped counting the drops and it didn't take away any crates. In the early days of 1.34 I had the game crash during a delivery and I didn't lose any, either. I did quit a small delivery as an experiment and it took away 1 crate.

I have quit 3 times and lost 3 crates each time. That's what I hear from other people too. I know it's different on sales from small warehouses, and that's why I did say on medium and big warehouses. I don't know too much about small warehouses though, as I don't have any.

I am pretty sure the game can detect if you loose connection, get booted because of a glitch - or if you just hard-quit.

I had this yesterday after filling a warehouse - I thought I was going to get a nice lump of cash in my account and forgot I had to distribute the goods myself afterwards :D

I'm planning on selling off smaller shipments so there's less risk but haven't attempted it yet. So in addition to the original question from aLucidMind (which I'd like to know too), does anyone know if 'selling safe' actually turns a profit?

this.

i collect 94k-100k at a time and sell that.

the amount of money i am making at the rate i am making it is....ridiculous.

Ridiculous as in BAD ridiculous.... or..

As in GOOD ridiculous?

I'm still considering whether I even WANT to buy an Office and Warehouse (or 2) and go at it, because I too will mostly be going at it solo.

But I've been eyeballing that Lombank location off Del Perro; its a stones throw from my apartment at Richard's Majestic, and has an excellent beach front view.

Just not sure I really want to invest my precious Savings of 8.5mil into this...

good ridiculous.

if you cant force yourself into a dead lobby. just do that.

otherwise, 2 box collection + headhunter or sightseer, repeat

i made 2.7 million dollars in 2 days with minimal effort watching netflix at the same time. sure pac standard might be faster. but with this its no muss no fuss.

edit: i forgot to mention!

2.7 million on top of casual buys of cars ive just wanted that ive owned before. because i want them.

filled 3 garages between 100k to 650k depending on the car.

so it oculd have been as much as 4 million.
