I created a CLEO script that disables backface Culling for Vice City: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=27971

If you had ever needed this for porting different maps that require it, now it's time ;)

Liberty City Stories has recently been released for mobile. So, why not bring its map to PC? This modification transforms Vice City to Classic Liberty City from 1998... with a touch of HD*.

 

*Mobile version contains both the original PS2 and the HD version. Expect both of them ;)

Λοιπόν, I thought I'd show latest progress on LCS map:

  • LEEDSBITS2 has been 100% ported with some fixes, so all general and shared stuff has been ported; no more invisible props and stuff. That being said, Portland is complete! well... there are some LODs that need to be dealt with, so that' 99% complete, hehe 46RUj61.pngrMtCG4d.png1y0BQh6.png
  • Don't know if you noticed, but radar has now been correctly alligned!
  • Also, fixed some graphical glitches in Portland I had skipped (mainly wrong IDE flags)
  • Many double ID entries have been deleted my fault, oops, so that should have fixed stuff and should prevent new bugs
  • Fixed a hole in the water (Portland beach)
  • Started working on Staunton Island now! COMROAD has been ported (can't take many pics)pjsyKYG.pngI'll start working on COMMER soon!

Nope :/

GTA SA is different from Vice City. But you can use 2097152 IDE flag on the object you want backface culling disabled ;)

 

 

 

Also, I don't know scripting; I knew the memory addresses and then magic happened :D

 

 

 

PS: Sorry for no updates on LCS, but I am really too busy with school. I'll get back to it this week though...
