Anyone know if the badges were purposely removed by Rockstar or just glitched? It feels empty on the hood and fenders. Nice Pfister logo would be sweeeet

Would love the Pfister badge on it. Really hope it was an accident and R* fixes it in the next update. Not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure every car in the game has the brand logo on it. The 811 needs it badly.

Good improvement - looks sweet! I mean, black always looks great on a car - but it can be boring in the long run.

Nismo.'s video(which I mentioned ealier) has already been posted, proving that lap times way faster than 56.6 are easily possible...

 

Also as oleg pointed out broughy does not use all curbs to get the lowest lap time possible for his testing.

There is a very good reason for this: It adds extra variables to the lap time which make it less reliable, because curbs don't always give the same speed boost when you hit them. So broughy just drives the cars on the racing line to get the best time without using all curbs he can find. This gives the best idea of what a car is capable of. Around Cutting Coroners GP the infernus and cheetah are indeed capable of better lap times than the 811. (So someone can get better lap times than broughy does in his testing by using curbs, but this does not make the tests any less reliable)

 

Since you personally can't drive the cars close to their limits, it might be different for you. The slower you are as a driver, the more preference for different handling styles affects your lap times. Someone playing the game for the first time could easily be faster in a massacro than an Elegy around a track with lots of corners, just because they might find the massacro easier to drive, and in that case it's the best car for that player at that time. But if a player can push both cars to the limit, the Elegy will beat the Massacro around that same track.

It's admirable yes. But Iam afraid if he races with other contestants in a contact race, with today's common gta racers, he is parked against a lamppost on the first corner. Driving that edgy. Edited June 30, 2016 by Foppezão

Really hope they fix the stupid collision sound. It happens whenever you slightly re-position the car or hit a tiny bump.

That's what gives it it's performance though (like the Slamvan Custom and Banshee 900R) so you'd have to forego it's top speed 'capability' if it was fixed.

I'd rather Rockstar gave us the 911. Keep it underrated in looks so the masses don't buy it, but give it plenty more power + crazy handling so it takes skill to drive and can keep up with the T20

 

This 811 will probably have to do once I get the money. I wonder how many are gonna buy it.

Sold it (even worse, sold the 50% discounted version) to buy the x80.

 

Worst decision ever, i still cant believe how and why i did it.

 

Now i am doomed to use only the Osiris, which makes the class more boring that it would be if i still had the T20.

I sold mine, I never liked the look of the T20, too small, too stupid looking. I bought the 811 on another account just to test it, didn't like it at all in anyway. So on my main I'm racing with Osiris, Zentorno, Turismo, same as always. I have a X80 and FMJ which I've been using if I need too, but the Osiris is very fast on bumpy tracks.

I'm fine with that as long as it fixes the noise. It is a really nice looking car but I can barely drive it without having music or a YT video playing because I just hear the constant smacking.

Now that I've sold the T20 and bought the 811, I can tell you that I really don't have any regrets.

Here's the thing though - they perform reasonably the same, the 811 actually taking a slight edge (IMO).

 

It's genuinely a fun thing to drive, and it looks good to boot.

Lol this car is so OP. Ran Route 68 last night in mine with no performance mods. Had first pretty much the whole race against 2 x80s, a T20, Adder, and Cheetah. Super early on, the Cheetah tried to spin me but I saved it and returned the favor by the next checkpoint. Even in my slipstream, people couldn't pass. Can't wait to have it fully modded.
